Using the pulley to route the cable and create stand-off was a bright idea.
These look great. The color of the wood with the metal wrapped around it really goes well together. Nicely Done.

Jonny, try using phosphoric acid on pine. It turns it a cool grey color.
Great video but one suggestion. If you cut with the sparks going down you have a better chance of the grinder not kicking back and cutting yourself.

what is the advantage of using india ink compared to black spray paint? sometimes the nuances are lost on camera, so I am curious.
