Sometimes its just not meant to be. Have you checked out my other beginners videos on casting on (one of the ways is with a crochet hook!) and I also have knit and purl tutorials. All skills or crafts - look intimidating to start off with and some take a long time and some never happen. But thats ok! If we could all do everything we'd never need to hire people lol.
