I have been looking for another options for tachometers we could use on our machines, and searching I was able to find this tachometer, which not only offers us the basic tachometer functionality but also has some interesting features like selectable number of magnets, counter, alarms...

Good functionality for low price. Maybe a use it for air compressor startup decompressing for light start, conecting alarm out to air valve.
Is there a possibility to manually reset the counter, so that after the count is finished, the next count starts again from zero? Is it possible to do this using one of the buttons or does the counter have to be disconnected from the power supply?
Great instructional tutorial, but does it have the capability to be programmed to turn on an alarm at 2250rpm and (the alarm) remain on above that speed? [edit] Now that I've had more time to review the product (that comes with no instructions), Here's what I want t achieve: 1-FC set to 'Speed' (S), 2-PN set to '1' (Magnet), 3-SL to Not be used, 4-SH to be set at 2250 (and 'Alarm' to stay on above that speed), 5-CA to Not be used.
i beleve the one with 3 magnets is having trouble with stability because it might be with different distances between each magnet
I was thinking the same, but the support is 3D printed, for sure I have some error, but...if they need to be completely precise located, it will be a challenge. Maybe I can do a bit more testing with three...
