Young runners shouldn't even watch this. This guy makes everyone else seem pedestrian. It would make them want to quit the sport. Just do your best. He is obviously genetically different than almost all other runners.
What a huge difference between a white runner and a Kenyan winning finisher. The white winner always appears totally spent and the African runner looks like he just went for a jog. Amazing.
Are you crazy?how can they compare?First they run different km.Jashua Cheptegai run almost 2:44pace(41:05) the whole 15km.But this guy run 8km and has finished 22:27.3 ~2:49 pace, this guy 5" slower than in each pace.
@@ytbaccount87 i know, no one said wanders is a new Haile Gebrselassie. :) but he does really well, he is not the biggest talent ever but works really hard and does believe in himself.his goal seems to become a good marathon runner the next year, so let's see what happens.
nah this is 2 seconds faster per km then his second half of the marathon. that said kipchoge has a 10k time significantly faster then this 8k. and considering how relaxed his marathon pace looks. he could probably make this pace seems like a jog..
@@jimmybondy9450 wut? kipchoge runs training 10km in wanders pr time of 27.32.. kipchoge has a 26.54 time on the road. His marathon pace is like 30 seconds slower then wanders pr.. wanders is a decent.. but kipchoge is a class apart atm. what might be interesting to know is that kipchoge speed training is running a sub 13 5k... then check how many sub 13 5k's there were this year...
no one said wanders would beat someone like kipchoge. you came up with number, so did i. and i said 10km on the *road*. please try to read properly. ;) anyway... no one runs 27m30s in training. i'm a runner myself since many years, i know how training works. the good thing with wanders is, he mostly runs close to his best, unlike others. last year he beat Jemal Yimer (who's best is 26m56s on track) over 10km road in paris (Houilles). it's good to see white guys can run too.
@@wwnv5779 yeah makes sense to ask a doper... he will tell every one else is using it too. wanders was tested about 20 times last year, and it seems he was clean. at least as clean as the rest of the top athletes.
All that training with the Kenyans is paying off
Congrats on 50k my dude

julien wanders 💪💪❤
Is this race held in Spain 🇪🇸
Joshua Cheptegei just broke the 15KM record in 41:05 which is faster than Julien's pace in this 8km and he ran that over hills.
over hills... lol, dude you are simply clueless
@@jimmybondy9450 dutch hills :P but regardless cheptegei did run faster.
