To me the biggest appeal of KD going to the Suns is for him to play and win a ring with the core of CP3, Booker and Ayton. Instead they traded almost everyone away and now we have some weird big 3 of KD/Booker/Beal with a bunch of minimum contract mercenaries and it's just not the same.

@@Wisestomatoethat’s not the same thing, the nets were objectively better than the suns, they just got hurt at the wrong time. The sooner the media understands KD doesn’t care about any narratives, the sooner they can just stop talking about him. This is the same KD that joined a championship winning, 73-9, one game away from a back to back chip team that had beaten him on route loooool he just wants to hoop. That’s all

You think that’s fair for the franchise that traded away their draft picks & young talent to acquire his talents bc he’s supposed to be an nba champion but doesn’t seem to impose his will to win knowing the team has championship aspirations ? That’s not fair to the fans it’s not fair to the team & his teammates & it’s not fair to himself I think he’s capable of winning another ring on his own. But see that’s also exactly why Ant is getting so much praise because he wants to win & is a competitor kd used to have that same passion.

As a crying and frustrated Suns fan, we are undersized and we have too many volume shooters. Small ball is dying in the NBA and the elite teams have big and length y players that can play the 4-5 spots, get buckets, and defend. Our offense doesn't flow and I am honestly questioning if we are any better since the KD trade. We need a legit alpha on the team to drive this team to success, so far, KD has not filled that role. He can’t will a team to win. We will be in NBA purgatory for a very long time.

First off it's not small ball it's skill ball.
2nd skill ball will never die
Lastly you're clearly too emotional bcuz u cant have a 7'2 dude, 2 6'11 dudes and another 6'10 and be undersized. That's sounds idiotic but I get it you're emotional so it has you talking nonsense. If they had cp3 instead of Beal with this same roster they would be a 1 seed easily.... but I think they need another wing 3 and D guy besides a pg that alpha nonsense you're spewing is just that. If they had jrue, cp3 or Mike Conley easily a 1 seed... gotta be objective

Everywhere I've seen coverage of this series. People were saying the Suns were the worst match up for the Timberwolves. Now everything has completely reversed and all I see or hear is how poorly the Suns roster is constructed. Nothing about how Minnesota's defense and physicality is absolutely bullying them. The series ain't over, but Minnesota has all the confidence in the world right now. I don't see the Suns winning more than one game. Timberwolves have the best chance out of any team to take down the Nuggets if you ask me. Can we please talk about some other teams. All these old superstars are washed. Honestly, running it back might not be a bad idea if they could figure out to improve their defense. Although they have the size, so I'm not sure if it's even the defense that needs to be improved. But they're missing literally so many shots.. The one thing that's lacking in the NBA is having continuity with your team. Like getting comfortable with your team and actually playing a full season with the same starting five and some of the bemch or at least close. So many players. So many NBA players get traded or move teams and get to a brand new team and have to figure it out and make it work. I don't hear this often, But a lot or most of NBA teams that win a ring habe at least some playing time with a solid core. Lebron would of probably been one of the only few to do with with new teammates, i think anyways. So it might not be a bad idea for the team to get some more playing time together with the same core pkayers and maybe some small chamges if needed. It's either that or kevin durant is washed. He is getting up there but maybe he just doesn't have the motivation to win anymore. They have the size and definitely have the offense.Unless like bradley deal is super overrated. I didn't watch Last year as much. But there needs to be a logical reason.Because there's so much talent on this team and they have the size.I can't believe they're doing this bad in the playoffs. I would personally love to see Durant when one more. But it just doesn't look like it's going to happen. But you never know I guess. But most teams don't even care to play with the 3 main players they signed up with an only play a small amount of games together and then just seem to just try and make it work for the playoffs. I'm also shocked at how many main superstars are injured for the first round of the playoffs also.

If these guys won't say it, I will... Kevin Durant is a problem. He is a walking bucket but he doesn't win you series.... Kevin Durant can't "out hoop" his LOSER DNA. Without the GREAT Steph Curry and Steve Kerr KD would have no postseason success except for one Finals appearance in which he lost to Lebron. He's a loser, plain and simple. This guy is the NBA's Dak Prescott. Showy numbers and ZERO SUBSTANCE. Get him outta here.

Beal’s contract would only be traceable to an absolute contender that only needs a scorer and you’d have to include draft picks. KD you could trade but if you trade him I think you should just start over because role plays with Beal and Booker isn’t gonna be any better, and Booker is the one I’d want to keep because he’s the youngest and at this point probably the best of the 3.

In addition to them severely lacking a point guard, on close look the Suns "big 3" is too redundant, similar skill set (pull up jump shooters, mid-range, not much rim pressure...) and the reality is... none of them are true 2-way players. Then the guys coming off the bench... more of the same offensive-minded redundancy, no good defenders - the team lacks size. No wonder why they are struggling against that defensive juggernaut in Minnesota.

In all honesty though, I do think they'll do a lot better next year as long as they run it back for the most part. Unless Durant doesn't have the drive or motivation to win anymore. But on paper they're not a bad team. They just need a decent amount of time played together with a solid core.
