@@JustSpectoR Never bothered search the history of each hero in DD1. Leper for me WAS a pain in the ass because he missed the slices and dices. Now, I feel guilty for ever doubting him. A king that was just embracing sick people, got betrayed, got the disease and just killed all the traitors just to his Kingdom be well again. And now he wanders the beautiful world of DD to help save what remains of this forbidden land.
I'm amazed how "go on a world tour" line fits so perfectly with the 2nd game

@@exploertm8738 Considering that "a certain youtuber" has been playing the early access version, and in his playthrough the plague doctor and the grave robber actually became "a thing" I can say that the shipping got kind of self realized O_o

I love how a lot of animators take games with really dark settings, and some how make em wholesome. ( dark souls, hollow knight, darkest dungeon)
Also plague doctor voice being just chicken sounds is my new headcannon.
Memorable games have complex, 3dimensional settings. Bleak and hopeless exterior? The characters are kind to each other and make the best of their situation. Colorful and optimistic exterior? This pink ball of joy has killed gods easily and devoured armies by the thousands.

Meanwhile the corpse of a once grand kingdom, brimming with infection that turns everything into a zobie hivemind, you can make two bugs fall in love and they happily tell you about their arts and craft projects.
I actaully named my cart The Muppets Again when i did my first run. We almost won too and everyone loved each other till the 2 people died, then the stress just built up and we couldnt continue. Man at Arms had a quirk that made him have a hard time getting to like people but literally everyone loved him. RIP my team.

Canonically the Flagellant is packed in one of the barrels on the cart, because he smells like decay and no one wants to sit next to that.
this whole video has become an in-joke with my friend group and sometimes we’ll just go “we’re doin a sequel!” and all burst into song.

Poor Josephine. I think she took the antiques and ran off after the estate. As the world went mad, the plunderers found a use for her. Or she should her worth and how dangerous she is to them. Interpretation is awesome!
I think the abomination will also show up as our enemy, as much as it breaks the heart to think.

Also I like how the Runaway was introduced by being red a story by Baldwin. The self-exiled king is reading to a stray and spreading his kindness even more as he dies. I hope we see more Runaway.

I dont know if it's random or determined by character, but my first bond between plague doctor and grave robber was "amorous"
My first was Dismas and Paracelsus (Highway Man and Plaque Doctor.) Might be random. Second was Dismas and Barristan (Highway and the Man At Arms), but then it switched back to HM and PD. I guess there is no polyamorous relationships in the Stagecoach.

What's also weird is that only two sacrifices were needed for the heart, so why are so many more missing?
