  • This is the second lecture on the upcoming online Dummy course. It explains how the Dummy form is designed. My Grandmaster Moy Yat broke it down to 108 movements/postures. I've further broke it down to 12 postures per section for the first 7 sections, and 24 postures in the 8th section, making it 108 in total.
What are the 12 postures for each section, what they teach, and how they can be applied, will be the core of the following paid lessons.

Thank you, Reinald. On the other hand, there will always be someone who doesn't appreciate it and bash my lessons.

From South Africa with love, this is my favorite teacher because he is scientific and really cares about explaining concepts to us. I love you Xuan Yin Sheng!

Hi Sifu! I hope you are well. I am a student of Sifu Chan Kam Shing (Chris Chan), and am getting back into my Wing Chun. My Sifu is old and I cannot find previous videos of his Siu Nim Tao, Chum Kiu, Biu Gee etc. If you are able to, it would be amazing to have videos for the other forms.
Thank you for continuing to preserve the martial art!

Hi Rafael: I have met Sifu Chris Chan when I was living in San Francisco for a year in 1992. Although we both are from Ip Man's lineage, we have different perspectives on Wing Chun. You'll always find that in the Wing Chun family. Unlike the Japanese arts and some Chinese ones too, which are very disciplined, regimented, traditional, and formal, Wing Chun is very free-thinking. It was designed to allow customization for individuals; consequently, you'll have different perspectives. If you are interested in learning the forms you mentioned, I have then as online course at www.wingchunrevelation.com. The lessons are very detailed so you can understand Wing Chun not only physically, but academically. Take a look at the site, and see if it interests you. Good luck!

@@wingchunshifu Thank you so much Sifu! I'm glad you met him and I would be interested in speaking with you about some of the syncretic differences/similarities between our systems. I just finished reading your book this past week and found your RUclips to listen to your lectures, and I will definitely check out your website.
      Thank you for your reply!

The lessons have been done; however, it will need some editing. As you may have seen, this video was recorded last summer. I'm currently in the process of moving to S. America, so am busy with the logistics. Once I get some free time, I will put the lessons together for the subscription. Just stay tuned to this channel for information.
