Quick question. My 11mo pretty much breastfeed all night long, she always has , that’s her only way of staying asleep . Even when she’s not actually drinking any milk she stays latched on but recently I’ve noticed a light brown tint on her teeth. Should I be worried? Some people says breast milk doesn’t affect the teeth and some says the opposite. She has 8 little teethies by the way .
I used to wipe my son’s gums after every feeding and he was ok with that, but as soon as I switched to a toothbrush, it’s a fight to brush his teeth. He’s starting to get staining on his bottom teeth and I upped the brushing to 3x/day. Anyway other way to get him to let me brush his teeth? Watching me doesn’t work. Playing in the sink helps until I get to his lower front teeth and then it’s a fight again
“A schemer in the clear” lol 😁
HAHAH DID I SAY SCHEMER OR SMEAR?! hahahahaha
Hey love your videos! I'm seriously considering Dental Hygiene but have heard so many negative remarks about the field. Any advice you have for someone considering this field would be very much appreciated! I've heard so many people say that it's very hard to find a job in this field and since you have a lot of experience do you think this is true or not?
Ysabel Handlang I heard the same thing during school the whole time. I was able to find a full time position (38 hours, Mon-Thur) two months before I graduated and then they let me work as an assistant while waiting for my hygiene license! I graduated this year and have been working as a hygienist since August
Kennedy C thank you so much for telling me that, that helps a lot!
Another strategy for parents to use is say: “we can do this the easy way or the hard way. The easy way is you open your mouth, Mom/dad does it first, and then you can do it. The hard way Is that I have to hold your chin, force the toothbrush into your mouth, you start to cry, and we don’t have any fun together”. So it’s either they cooperate and brush or you have to force them in.
Is it bad I haven’t been to the dentist in all my life, which is 13 years, I also only brush my teeth once a day and I don’t floss, is this bad?
If you are able to go to the dentist, I would definitely recommended it. At your first appointment, they will clean your teeth and educate you about your oral health. They will also take x-rays of your teeth, which help to check for cavities. Brushing two times a day is recommended, as well as flossing once a day. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. I'm a Dental Hygienist as well :)
I love to see the way you talking smiling so sweet
Please i want your Whatsup numbr

So I have a confession to make: I am 21 and I use toothpaste for kids.
You know what would be an interesting video? Seeing you at the dentist as a patient :)
I'm actually going to be sitting in the dental chair as a patient for a minute in my first video coming out in January...!!!
I have a question. I currently have a flu and vomited a couple of times. I think the bacteria loosened like 4 of my upper teeth. Will they tighten naturally? I tried using saltwater gargle and brushed my teeth. What else should I do?
Do you also have kids?
Their teeth are gonna get replaced by permanent teeth anyway..... so there’s no need to take care of those baby teeth.
The video explains how baby teeth can affect the permanent teeth. For example, if a baby tooth is infected, it can spread to the permanent tooth below it. Hope this helps.
