A 'shovel thing' is called a front loader. Haha! I, too, picked up some cheap Friends Legos. I'm in my 60s and had a blast putting them together. I love the bright colors. I sold them at Bricks and Minifigs, making a profit.i love the technic builds and generally gravitate to large modular sets but I'll build any set I can get for cheap cheap.
