- Today we talk about geogrid, specifically biaxial and triaxial geogrid, and its use in paver base installation. We use this in every paver installation with a minimum 4" of aggregate placed on top to help stabilize our bases along with the use of a nonwoven or woven geotextile. We explain why we do this in this video.

Great video
Thank you!
Hey man, first of all thank you for all the tips, it's been really helpful!!
I live around Thornhill area just above Toronto, thinking of doing small patio job this summer myself. Do you have any supplier you recommend to get stuff like gravel, paver, geotextile, etc?
THANKS!!
Amazing! I’m from Toronto. No supplier in this area though because I mostly operate in Kitchener
It’s like rebar for rocks 🪨
Niiice analogy!
i use the triaxle type for driveways
That’s a great idea!
Do you ever use both the geo grid and no woven in the same application?
Yes, so if I use woven as my geotextile I will use biaxial geogrid at the halfway point of my base. If I use nonwoven, I will use geogrid immediately on top of the nonwoven
What area do you service?
Toronto to Kitchener
Do you have any links or recommendations for a biaxial grid for a retaining wall?
You’d want uniaxial for a retaining wall. Best is to go to your local supplier
Nice videos just intro with “what’s up” kinda doesn’t fit in :)
Other than that grate work
Haha ahh that’s my signature!
I'm not sure where you're located in the gta. I'm in Whitby and looking to add a patio in my backyard and in need of some advice which I would be happy to pay for.
How do I get in touch?
send any questions to everafterlandscaping@gmail.com
Hi not sure if i understood correctly. You only use geogrid with woven geotextile?
Also hows that tufx wheelbarrow? I need to buy new wheelbarrows and i dont know if im still going for steel wheelbarrows or poly
Geogrid on top of nonwoven. Or woven then 4” of base, geogrid, then 4” of base.
It is the best wheelbarrow on the market without a doubt. Lightweight and incredibly durable
@@iamahardscaper since when have you been using geogrid? Youre the first one that I see that uses it for every basé other than walls
Really, I’ve been using it for about 5 years now
Do you place the geogrid on top of geotex?
If it is nonwoven. If woven, we do it in the midway point of our base
