Thanks for the info
Bought 8 from SanTan. 6 are installed since 2021. Work flawlessly (250watt panels).
Mine are running great too!
Soak the glass to soften debris before scrubbing. Use a light touch or hose. Hose debris off glass before scrubbing to avoid scratching the glass. Like a carwash.
I bought a battery and 10 used panels when they had their free shipping sale. Worked out to about $40 per 290w panel. I have a series of them wired in parallel with a series of new canadian solar panels and they are working great. I just got regular used panels, I didn't opt for snail trail or cracked ones. I feel like something needs to be done to help people get used panels cheaper, there are so many old panels just sitting around useless and they don't seem to be worth it for recycling.
Very nice! So important to be thrifty currently.
Thanks man. Best of luck with your ventures. 🎩🌄🇺🇸
DID YOU PICK THEM UP OR SHIPPED BY TRUCK THE FREIGHT IS A KILLER
I picked them up
@@jiujitsu2000 YOU SAVE A PILE OF MONEY I LIVE IN FL THEY WANTED MORE FOR THE FREIGHT THEN THE PANELS
I love how beautifully these panels are working! You did such an amazing job setting it all up! Great job sweetheart!
Oh..And I think Morningstar has multi-voltage mppt-type conrrollers too. My present recently purchased 6 100AH 12V LiPo4's are paralleled to a cheapo big Chinese 3KW (run!) 12volt inverter via 2/0 fine-strand😊 WELDing cable w 600v insulation rating! Flexible for its size. Cheapo inverter DOES have NICE comprehensive front led display. Amazed..for like $250! Now one MUST have ALL! clean & TIGHT! connections people...No joke. This high frequency type inverter demands every bit of voltage & current to even stand a CHANCE of bumping the 12A or more 120VAC inductive motored saws, mowers & thank GOD they got thermostatic cooling fans.
Well...some charge controllers handle three voltages! My old Morningstar TS-60 pwm controller dip-pin's 12, 24, & 48! NEAT eh?! Now if only they had battery bank voltage selector switches & multi-voltage inverters!!🥴
And aNOTHer thing...I'm swapping my flattened copper tubing slotted hole-drilled pos/neg common rail bus bars for that same 2/0 fine stranded cable...slightly arched between each terminal for stopping heat/cold expansion/contraction terminal structure stress. This size cable up to 400amp so figure no "separate current -splitter runners" needed for my power needs.
This is going to save me a ton of money. Love that RadioShack meter dude. I'm in Phoenix and thinking I might take a trip out there tomorrow. Thank you so much for sharing!
Wow! You got a great deal!! Can't Waite to see them all hooked up
Good video thanks for sharing YAH bless brother !
But at 34v you can't charge a 36v battery??
Doesn't the voltage need to be bigger than the battery voltage.
So what battery can be charged, 24??
What happens to the other voltage??
Most charge controllers can handle 12 or 24 volt systems... lol
👌
Great job brother. Great review
Outstanding find
Were they shipped to you? If so, what was the cost, if you don’t mind?
I went there
@@jiujitsu2000thanks
If you go to there website you can select everything you want and get a shipping quote with no obligations to buy.
How's the affiliate thing coming along?
Cool.
Thanks!!
THIS WAS A FANTASTIC LESSON FOR ME, HOWEVER I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS: CAN ALL OF THEM BE PLUGGED INTO A SOLAR GENERATOR? DO THEY HAVE THE CONNECTORS IN THEM TO DO SO, OR DOES ONE HAVE TO GUY ALL THAT EXTRA? I SEE YOURS HAVE WIRES IN THE BACK, ARE THEY ALL UNIVERSAL AND FIT WITH ANYTHING? YOU CERTAINLY APPEAR TO HAVE STRUCK GOLD WITH THOSE PANELS LOL LOL I'M AN OLD LADY, TRYING TO FIGURE HOW I'M GOING TO HAVE ELECTRICITY WHEN SHTF, AS I HAVE NO HELP. I'M DISABLED AND HAVE CONCERNS FOR CHARGING UP MY WHEELCHAIR, RAISE AND LOWER MY LIT CHAIR WHICH IS ALSO MY BED, A FAN WHEN ITS HOT, MY CHEST FREEZER AND REFRIGERATOR. ANY SUGGESTIONS? I'M SORTA FREAKING OUT A BIT. THANKS
Thank you, what solar generator are you running? Different models have differences in specs for solar input
@@jiujitsu2000 AH, :( I DON'T HAVE ONE. ALL THE INVESTIGATING I'VE DONE, TO HOPE TO HAVE ONE THAT IS LARGE ENOUGH IN WATTS OUTFLOW FOR WHAT I NEED ONE FOR, IT WOULD TAKE A BIG ONE TO SUFFICE, AND THEY ARE FAR, FAR OUT OF MY BUDGET. SO, YOU ARE SAYING THAT DEPENDING ON THE WATTAGE ONE HAS, WOULD DEPEND ON THE SIZE OF THE SOLAR, SUCH AS 100 W VS 200 W? THANKS. IT'S ALL SO STRESSING AS I WORRY.
I sent you an email.
