    The gear of the oil pump has a tooth missing. It possibly may destroy the gear of the crankshaft. Why not replacing it?

      Thanks At the moment of the engine assembly ,I wasn't able to find another oil pump gear .Gearbox parts are easy to find ,but all other parts are very hard to find .I had no more time ,because there is almost no load on that gear ,I decided to instal it ( the tooth is not missing , the top is broken ) . If i remember correctly around 3 tooths are always connected to crankshaft gear . It would definitely be smart to replace it with another gear that has no damage.

      @@oldtimer-Z Hello, yes I know, sometimes it is difficult to get spare parts. I'm into motorcycle restoration too. I restored a Simson AWO Sport myself in the last two years.

    What's up with the kick start splines

      The kickstart splines are in very good condition ,I'm assuming that you meant on gear shift axle . They are somehow bend ,but the gear shift lever fits nice .
