Excellent loved it. I own a 63 4 door with the large 6 and it’s fun to see how they were designed and built, with Ford even reaching out to Australia to produce this great little car. Thank you for having this available.
Not exactly Ford reaching out but Ford Australia deciding which Ford to manufacture in Australia to avoid crippling import duties just as GM did with the more Australian developed Holden starting in 1948 and building up to near 50% of the new car market. Ford Australia kept developing the Falcon over many generations increasingly separate from the first US based models up until the last one in 2016. They were thinking of making the English Zephyr 6 until they saw the Falcon being developed in 1958 Detroit Head Office.
They were good looking cars.
Thanks for preserving this bit of history and making it available to us.
Lots of interest like the early ute models not often filmed.

Absolutely fascinating this documentary is.
Interesting history and the footage is fantastic.
Ford Australia 🇦🇺 should still be going
This was a time they used to make cars to last forever, unlike the disposable crap they make today
