My GSD won't even break an egg, nor will he eat whole meats. He waits for us to cut everything in tiny pieces 😂😂😂
In fact we had quail in our aviary once, and when one escaped he grabbed it. Instead of eating it though, he brought it to mom. LOL

I was always told that raw chicken bones are dangerous for dogs to eat because it can splinter in their tummies and tear up their digestive track. But I've seen a lot of people feed their dogs whole chicken legs like you did. I've never given my dogs raw anything. But I've got frozen turkey necks in the fridge could I thaw them and feed it to my boys?
Ana Hudon the bones are safe as long as not cooked. Cooking them changes the structure & causes splinters

Anna Harward there’s no problem with giving them raw bones, cooked bones cause the problems because they’re brittle & can cause splintering while passing through.

Pooka and Kili no dogs digestive systems are built to digest raw food anyway so she’s fine, I believe cooked bones are a problem because they cause splinters

MissBoneshaker as long as they’re raw & uncooked bones, it’s okay for dogs to eat them. Their digestive systems are made for digesting raw bones & stuff. Cooked bones are bad for them because they are more brittle & can cause splinters while passing through. I feed my dog a raw diet & have never had a problem once.
