I often wait for the North Shore trains to pass the swing bridge from my boat on the Danvers River. I know nothing about trains but do enjoy watching them. Can you tell me the type of equipment (locomotives I guess) that the MBTA operates on this line? If you need one, I can send you a short clip of these trains from the water. Thank you.
Typically they use the F40Ph-3c locomotive, the HSP46, single level and double decker coach cars, and rarely a double decker cab car, there’s some other stuff i just can’t remember
One thing I notice about the north shore is the lack of double decker cars. You see them everywhere down south.
