Some members are not getting payed the same as other members, some members are getting treated better, and etc.

I've been a fan of these bands for over a decade, and BTS is very much an exception, that's part of why they're remarkable. Unlike most other Korean groups they actually like each other.

Bts has three rappers and four vocalist. Each member has their own solo projects, the rappers even have mixtapes which they release for free. They write and produce their own music, along with the in house producers in their company.

Certain ones are scouted or recruited by agencies and if they cant pass auditions/training then they aren't accepted as trainees with the companies. Not all Korean agencies are forceful, depends on who they sign under; some don't care about their artists letting them do what they want and others even physically abuse the artists while force them to make money for the company etc. *The founder of BigHit aka HYBE Mr. Bang Si-Hyuk is not like that at all, he treats his staff and artists like family, the artists are like his kids.*

They are not forced to be together , ya Boi knows a little about them but not much. They are known for NOT being the stereotypical kpop factory type of group. Their company is very supportive of them and they are under their second 7 year contract because they wanted to sign again together. Nah, they're not forced, they started training together as early as 2010, debuted in 2013, finished their 7-yr contract in 2020 and re-contracted with their same agency for another 7 years. They're truly close as family and their own families interact with each other as well. Plus if you see more of their performances, you'll understand. If they can't get along, they wouldn't be here still. :) Their agency isn't like most of the big K-pop entertainment company you hear about, their CEO gives them a large amount of artistic freedom, which I believe is also one of the main reason why they are so big. They all love what they do.

I’m a 50 yo school teacher who has been an Army since 2018. I’ve seen them in concert at MetLife stadium NJ and have tickets to their postponed 2020 concert in Atlanta. They are many, many Americans who love their music. Their concerts in America sell out within minutes. Their music is deep and uplifting. They are legends.

To be fair, in some kpop groups you do see that they are forced to be in one group, but this isn't the case for BTS. Yes, they started the group as 7 individuals, living, training and performing together, so there were bound to be conflicts but through the years, they've gone through so much, the ups and downs, and they grew together into a family. They could very well walk away as they've earned millions by now but, still, they chose to stay together and continue their journey to make the music they love. Every member has said that they feel incomplete when they're not together. They're not the product of some big agency but work their way up as one family. That's why their music is sincere, genuine and real.
Just one thing.. they’re not forced to be together. Kpop groups usually about 7 yrs, they just celebrated 8 yrs together. They enjoy being in the group together. I went down the BTS rabbit hole in April, and haven’t been happier. JMO.. Take care and stay safe..
Most of the time companies do choose people and the members don’t even know each other very well but they usually have time to get to know each other before they debut cause kpop groups train hella years before the get to debut so in that time members get to know each other and become close, bts definitely aren’t obligated by just the contract cause the have recently renewed their contract of 7 years but it was because they wanted to give army more content, they didn’t do it for money they did it for army so I believe what keeps bts together so strong as a group is definitely ARMY. 💜
I'm loving the cowboy/country style they have going on and I'm also giving props to the stylist noonas for styling them this way and also props o to the people in the MV as you could see they were clearly havin fun. I'm loving the beat and the line " I don't need permission to dance" will be stuck in my head for ever and always now, also it's such and iconic line and is up there with " Get it, Let it roll". I'm also loving the beat of the music as it'd so happy and upbeat and really summery, it also makes me wanna smile just seeing them have fun. The choreo is so groovy and makes me wanna dance and I just wanna groove with it also as there isn't really that much choreo it's really easy to dance too. I love their MV as it shows the boys having fun with eachother and other people also the vocals are as amazing as ever, I especially love yoongis vocals as he really can sing, and it makes me wanna sing along. It all being English aswell also makes it their 3rd all English song and this one is just as catch as Dynamite and Butter. Also I love the message behind the song ad it basically says no matter what or where you are if you here music you love just dance along to it as you don't need permission to dance and have fun. Us armys are getting so spoilt on our birthday and o just love the guys so much and you can clearly see how much they love us back k by just seeing how hard they work and how they care about us. They did not become a group like other kpop groups, they did not train like other groups, they did not do many things like the usual kpop group. Their label company (Big Hit Entertainment) brought them together differently and supported each member and their own talents & creativity within the group. The reason BTS is at the level they are and has the fandom that they do, is because they are a one in a million. Don't try to compare them to anyone or categorize them. Just enjoy BTS for how special they are. I guarantee, we won't witness another group in our lifetime... that will accomplish everything that BTS has done
Ok, for Army who, like me check the number of dislikes and comments first before deciding whether to watch a reaction, dont be put off. These guys fell into a couple of the normal problems of 1st time reactors ie: is that a girl? However they were respectful for the most part and had a friendly vibe. This group means a lot to us ARMYs I always get nervous when new reaction channel reacts to BTS songs because I've seen them (BTS) being disrespected or got racist comments. It just breaks my heart. You'll soon learn his duality is insane. Has a blackbelt and insane martial arts training. We joke that he's a trained ninja. Very skilled dancer. Has unique tone and can hit high notes. If you dig deep, youll see, this guy, be snatching girls AND BOYS left and right. When your friend said "THEY ARE FORCED TO BE TOGETHER IN CONTRACT" I just smiled, and I knew ARMY will already be commenting on this 😂 Maybe for other kpop groups, maybe. But not BTS. They are different (you will learn why). Their company is different. Very different. Yes they were put together as trainees, but spent over 10 years living together, they grew to love each other's flaws and antics. If you watch their videos on RUNBTS, vlogs, random clips from fancams, just anywhere you can see their love for one another in the way the look at each other, how they hype and supportive towards each other and pick on each other (I always see ppl new to BTS on YT comment on their bonds, they say its different) Not to mention theyre very humble and super funny. THere are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists in the group. All range from 23-29 yrs old. They came from different parts of Korea, diff backgrounds. All very talented. This is no NSync where only one member shines, nope. EACH ONE OF THEM IS UNIQUE AND SUPERTALENTED. They are very involver with their music, from song writing, producing, some even before they debut as BTS. Oh, two of the rappers (RM the leader and SUGA aka AGUSTD) were underground rappers bfore joining BTS. I highly recommend you to check out their solo projects esp Joke by RM, and Daechwita by Agust D. Or rapline's DDAENG, UGH & TEAR. Since you like One Piece, RM made a One Piece reference in of the rapline CYPHERS. Where they respond to haters. They were young but super talented. Check out their 1-4 cyphers. Your friend is right about one thing though, they're not all out in this MV 😂 This is a fun song to cheer people up. But im excited to see you guys check their other songs in Korean esp. Their full english song is Butter, Dynamite, Waste on me, Who (Lauv feat BTS Jungkook and Jimin) and permission to dance. But their other song is also very lit. They are not forced to be together. BTS has been together for 10 years. They are best friends and most importantly brothers. Good start but definitely listen to more. I suggest listening to Mic Drop, ON Kinetic Manifesto, Dynamite, Blood, Sweat and Tears, and Black Swan to start with.

They were put together but they definetly love each other like family. They actually resigned contracts last year and could have split if they wanted but chose to stay together.
It’s best not to assume BTS works like other kpop groups. They and their label are industry disruptors. They don’t operate like other labels. BTS are genuinely extremely close and want to be together. They all do solo work and other projects and support each other’s work.
As you will found out they can do a mixture of genres and languages, they all can speak English but the most fluent one their leader RM (one with yellow highlighted hair) even with it being his second English and all of them are fluent in Japanese. They've done quite a bit of J-Pop songs and versions of their Korean songs. That is one many awesome things about K-Pop gives fans a taste of commonly used genres including J-Pop and C-Pop. *This is BTS third FULL English track following from Dynamite and BUTTER, which are their first two Full English songs. A lot of their older music is majority in Korean with mixture of English so people can semi understand them but it is also because most commonly used words can't be translated into different languages, they are just as they appear and sound.*

When the MV came out 😘 MY ARMY HEART I silently screamed when I got notified but I had to hold it in while freaking out at the same time; I thought my heart would come out of my chest. The transition from BUTTER MV was #SmoothLikeButter into bringing their third FULL ENGLISH track with upbeat summer of “We’re All In This Together” vibes turning into BANGTAN COWBOYS in a country-style concept; the song was composed by Ed Sheeran. Yes there are groups with problems between members I'm know the groups I listed also had problems over something but, usually the group figures it out before it becomes too big to fix down the line.

Bts has three rappers and four vocalist. Each member has their own solo projects, the rappers even have mixtapes which they release for free. They write and produce their own music, along with the in house producers in their company.

BTS (which stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan in Korean- Bulletproof boy scouts in english) aren't just the biggest boy band or kpop group, they are the biggest group in the world right now period. 7 members (3 rappers and 4 vocalists), their names are Jin age 28 vocalist, Suga age 28 rapper, J-Hope age 27 rapper, RM age 26 rapper and group leader (and the only member fluent in english), Jimin age 25 vocalist, V age 25 vocalist, and Jungkook age 23 vocalist. Certain ones are scouted or recruited by agencies and if they cant pass auditions/training then they aren't accepted as trainees with the companies. Not all Korean agencies are forceful, depends on who they sign under; some don't care about their artists letting them do what they want and others even physically abuse the artists while force them to make money for the company etc. *The founder of BigHit aka HYBE Mr. Bang Si-Hyuk is not like that at all, he treats his staff and artists like family, the artists are like his kids.*

Their company is very supportive of them and they are under their second 7 year contract because they wanted to sign again together. Nah, they're not forced, they started training together as early as 2010, debuted in 2013, finished their 7-yr contract in 2020 and re-contracted with their same agency for another 7 years. They're truly close as family and their own families interact with each other as well. Plus if you see more of their performances, you'll understand. If they can't get along, they wouldn't be here still. :) Their agency isn't like most of the big K-pop entertainment company you hear about, their CEO gives them a large amount of artistic freedom, which I believe is also one of the main reason why they are so big. They all love what they do.

I’m a 50 yo school teacher who has been an Army since 2018. I’ve seen them in concert at MetLife stadium NJ and have tickets to their postponed 2020 concert in Atlanta. They are many, many Americans who love their music. Their concerts in America sell out within minutes. Their music is deep and uplifting. They are legends.

To be fair, in some kpop groups you do see that they are forced to be in one group, but this isn't the case for BTS. Yes, they started the group as 7 individuals, living, training and performing together, so there were bound to be conflicts but through the years, they've gone through so much, the ups and downs, and they grew together into a family. They could very well walk away as they've earned millions by now but, still, they chose to stay together and continue their journey to make the music they love. Every member has said that they feel incomplete when they're not together. They're not the product of some big agency but work their way up as one family. That's why their music is sincere, genuine and real.
Just one thing.. they’re not forced to be together. Kpop groups usually about 7 yrs, they just celebrated 8 yrs together. They enjoy being in the group together.
I went down the BTS rabbit hole in April, and haven’t been happier. JMO..

Most of the time companies do choose people and the members don’t even know each other very well but they usually have time to get to know each other before they debut cause kpop groups train hella years before the get to debut so in that time members get to know each other and become close, bts definitely aren’t obligated by just the contract cause the have recently renewed their contract of 7 years but it was because they wanted to give army more content, they didn’t do it for money they did it for army so I believe what keeps bts together so strong as a group is definitely ARMY. 💜
I'm loving the cowboy/country style they have going on and I'm also giving props to the stylist noonas for styling them this way and also props o to the people in the MV as you could see they were clearly havin fun.
I'm loving the beat and the line " I don't need permission to dance" will be stuck in my head for ever and always now, also it's such and iconic line and is up there with " Get it, Let it roll".
I'm also loving the beat of the music as it'd so happy and upbeat and really summery, it also makes me wanna smile just seeing them have fun.
The choreo is so groovy and makes me wanna dance and I just wanna groove with it also as there isn't really that much choreo it's really easy to dance too.
I love their MV as it shows the boys having fun with eachother and other people also the vocals are as amazing as ever, I especially love yoongis vocals as he really can sing, and it makes me wanna sing along.
It all being English aswell also makes it their 3rd all English song and this one is just as catch as Dynamite and Butter.
Also I love the message behind the song ad it basically says no matter what or where you are if you here music you love just dance along to it as you don't need permission to dance and have fun.
Us armys are getting so spoilt on our birthday and o just love the guys so much and you can clearly see how much they love us back k by just seeing how hard they work and how they care about us.

The "Ioniq: I'm On It" is a promotional song for Hyundai. But you barely notice the car because the mv & song are so good; similar style as "Film Out"
"Come Back Home" was released on July 4, 2017 as remake of Seo Taiji’s song "Come Back Home" for Seo Taiji 25th Anniversary Remake Project.
“With Seoul” is a BTS song and film highlighting Seoul as a vacation spot. The original also shows them recording it. They have also done 3 other versions, including a “short” on 2020-09-11; a beautiful drone visual of Seoul (The Four Seasons of Seoul” on 2019-12-30, & an amazing drone visual mv on 2021-01-09.
My personal favorite "other version" video is "DANGER (Mo-Blue-Mix) , featuring THANH". Thanh is an Australian-Vietnamese singer. This song has a R&B vibe with some great lyrics added by Thanh.

BTS are kind of an anomaly in the KPOP industry and a lot that has to do with he fact that they've been together for over ten years, write/produce/compose their own music alongside their in-house staff, and they established one of the most incomparable bonds with their fanbase. BTS were nothing but authentic, genuine, and hardworking right from the start, and believe it or not aside from their amazing talent, something that drew a lot of people into them was their bond with one another, the guys themselves treat each other like family and have been very open about how much they value their group dynamic as a whole.

The one guy who seems to know the most about kpop... he is right about the general kpop industry but you guys will learn quickly (that is if you sincerely want to learn more about BTS), BTS is NOT your normal kpop musicians. They did not become a group like other kpop groups, they did not train like other groups, they did not do many things like the usual kpop group. Their label company (Big Hit Entertainment) brought them together differently and supported each member and their own talents & creativity within the group. The reason BTS is at the level they are and has the fandom that they do, is because they are a one in a million. Don't try to compare them to anyone or categorize them. Just enjoy BTS for how special they are. I guarantee, we won't witness another group in our lifetime... that will accomplish everything that BTS has done
Ok, for Army who, like me check the number of dislikes and comments first before deciding whether to watch a reaction, dont be put off. These guys fell into a couple of the normal problems of 1st time reactors ie: is that a girl? However they were respectful for the most part and had a friendly vibe. I think these guys might be fun to watch go on the BTS journey of discovery.

I always get nervous when new reaction channel reacts to BTS songs because I've seen them (BTS) being disrespected or got racist comments. It just breaks my heart. Second reason, if a reaction is really really disrepectful, ARMY will full on attack 😂 Yes Im nervous for that. Lol As you can probably see, ARMY are very passionate and protective of these boys. They have been through shit so much. They do so much for us you have no idea.
The good looking smooooth guy your friend thought was a girl, his name is Park Jimin. You'll soon learn his duality is insane. Has a blackbelt and insane martial arts training. We joke that he's a trained ninja. Very skilled dancer. Has unique tone and can hit high notes. If you dig deep, youll see, this guy, be snatching girls AND BOYS left and right.
When your friend said "THEY ARE FORCED TO BE TOGETHER IN CONTRACT" I just smiled, and I knew ARMY will already be commenting on this 😂 Maybe for other kpop groups, maybe. But not BTS. They are different (you will learn why). Their company is different. Very different. Yes they were put together as trainees, but spent over 10 years living together, they grew to love each other's flaws and antics. If you watch their videos on RUNBTS, vlogs, random clips from fancams, just anywhere you can see their love for one another in the way the look at each other, how they hype and supportive towards each other and pick on each other (I always see ppl new to BTS on YT comment on their bonds, they say its different) Not to mention theyre very humble and super funny.
THere are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists in the group. All range from 23-29 yrs old. They came from different parts of Korea, diff backgrounds. All very talented. This is no NSync where only one member shines, nope. EACH ONE OF THEM IS UNIQUE AND SUPERTALENTED. They are very involver with their music, from song writing, producing, some even before they debut as BTS. Oh, two of the rappers (RM the leader and SUGA aka AGUSTD) were underground rappers bfore joining BTS. I highly recommend you to check out their solo projects esp Joke by RM, and Daechwita by Agust D. Or rapline's DDAENG, UGH & TEAR.
Since you like One Piece, RM made a One Piece reference in of the rapline CYPHERS. Where they respond to haters. They were young but super talented. Check out their 1-4 cyphers.

It’s best not to assume BTS works like other kpop groups. They and their label are industry disruptors. They don’t operate like other labels. BTS are genuinely extremely close and want to be together. They all do solo work and other projects and support each other’s work.
As you will found out they can do a mixture of genres and languages, they all can speak English but the most fluent one their leader RM (one with yellow highlighted hair) even with it being his second English and all of them are fluent in Japanese. They've done quite a bit of J-Pop songs and versions of their Korean songs. That is one many awesome things about K-Pop gives fans a taste of commonly used genres including J-Pop and C-Pop. *This is BTS third FULL English track following from Dynamite and BUTTER, which are their first two Full English songs. A lot of their older music is majority in Korean with mixture of English so people can semi understand them but it is also because most commonly used words can't be translated into different languages, they are just as they appear and sound.*

When the MV came out 😘 MY ARMY HEART I silently screamed when I got notified but I had to hold it in while freaking out at the same time; I thought my heart would come out of my chest. The transition from BUTTER MV was #SmoothLikeButter into bringing their third FULL ENGLISH track with upbeat summer of “We’re All In This Together” vibes turning into BANGTAN COWBOYS in a country-style concept; the song was composed by Ed Sheeran. *I haven’t yet seen the behind the scenes video yet but if I'm not mistaken in my observation from the MV and photos they seemed to have filmed this somewhere in South Korea in a desert area since they’re still not able to travel outside of Asia except to maybe Jeju Island and Japan; they seem to have added some global dancing clips to give show the meaning of “We’ll In This Together” and NO GREEN SCREEN was NOT used; which is proven at the end where you can see and hear how hard the wind was blowing through the camera.*
