I loved yalls reaction. This song is for everyone. Its a reminder to everyone that although right now things are tough and there are restrictions on everything you have to do these days, we dont need permission to be happy, dance and enjoy life. I loved the fact that they encorperated sign language into their choreography and showed a diversity of people, ages, occupations and genders.
It has no deep meaning and is just a feel good song.

people new will judge and say bts only does stuff like this song ...but no...look up at their old songs ....they are so versatile
I'm loving the cowboy/country style they have going on and I'm also giving props to the stylist noonas for styling them this way and also props o to the people in the MV as you could see they were clearly havin fun.
I'm loving the beat and the line " I don't need permission to dance" will be stuck in my head for ever and always now, also it's such and iconic line and is up there with " Get it, Let it roll".
I'm also loving the beat of the music as it'd so happy and upbeat and really summery, it also makes me wanna smile just seeing them have fun.
The choreo is so groovy and makes me wanna dance and I just wanna groove with it also as there isn't really that much choreo it's really easy to dance too.
I love their MV as it shows the boys having fun with eachother and other people also the vocals are as amazing as ever, I especially love yoongis vocals as he really can sing, and it makes me wanna sing along.
It all being English aswell also makes it their 3rd all English song and this one is just as catch as Dynamite and Butter.
Also I love the message behind the song ad it basically says no matter what or where you are if you here music you love just dance along to it as you don't need permission to dance and have fun.
Us armys are getting so spoilt on our birthday and o just love the guys so much and you can clearly see how much they love us back k by just seeing how hard they work and how they care about us.
You'll never get another band like BTS who love their fans so much and who works so hard for them.

When the MV came out 😘 MY ARMY HEART I silently screamed when I got notified but I had to hold it in while freaking out at the same time; I thought my heart would come out of my chest. What makes this song more special than being a gift for ARMY is the thought of putting sign language as part of their choreo and giving hope to people that we all can soon release purple balloons as a sign that finally we're back to normal💜 Also, this was filmed in Korea. They use different people of race to raise awareness that we can be happy as one no matter what race you are or what your skin color is.💜

They're celebrating those who are often marginalized and forgotten in our society. This very much aligns with their intention shared in interviews about how them singing in English at this point after the global pandemic, when everyone in the world is suffering, was their way of trying to reach as many people as possible and give them comfort and hope.So to me, this is a song that's very much BTS, unapologetically doing what they want to without needing permission, authentically sharing their thoughts, admitting their struggles but also always managing to not lose hope, and comforting us with a positive message. BTS can do any genre..No group are like that.They can rap,dance,do ballad songs,fun songs,dissed song,everything..BTS is a genre itself,very versatile..And they are writers,producers and lyricist..If you could react to Who is BTS by Celeste you will be amazed how good and versatile they are.
This is the simplest choreo they have ever made ever. You know why? 'Cause they incorporated sign language to their dance so deaf community would not be left out.
When you said that they are good vibes I was nodding my head along with your words. There is a special dance in it that is made from sign language so that the deaf can understand the meaning of the song as well. Making two hands and spreading the palms of the hands means "dancing". international sign language for fun, dance, & peace . And this somg is a gift from TO ARMY.

I watched the whole thing looking to see where they clowned them? Can you point to something specific bc it seems that they were respectful, complimentary, and got involved in the video. Just bc people are laughing doesn't mean they are clowning or mocking...they could just be having fun and enjoying the content.
It was filmed in South Korea, on some barren land near the Incheon International Airport. I just read media reporting about it today. Inside scenes with people with different ethnicity I'm not sure.

I know you did Mic Drop and DNA but honestly you said you reacted to all their older MVs/songs (and obviously i know you don't mean EVERY ONE of them) but Dynamite, Butter and now Permission to Dance are just either their songs with the most views (Since they are in english and played on the radio more and therefore reach more people) but honestly (in my opinion at least) those are not their best songs. They are pop songs with a 'feel good' vibe and the choreo thats cool but pretty tame compared to their others. I just think you haven't really gotten to hear the diversity of their songs and seen their better choreograpy and videos they have much more to offer (no hate to these videos because i know a lot of work still goes into making these songs and music videos). However, i appreciate you still checking out this video and reacting to it. I'm an army and while i like Dynamite and Permission to Dance and i definitely support them, they're not my favourite songs not bad just not what id show someone first when showing them BTS.
