The people being represented throughout the video are the ones most affected by Covid....kids, service people, older one...etc. I also love that the incorporated sign language into the choreo too. It is a massive encouragement to everyone suffering with it. It took a couple listens for me to love it too.
They weren't talking about the sign language when saying weird dance. They were talking about the quirky dancing the international people were doing in their individual scenes (like how you just move randomly to music when you don't know how to dance, but want to dance)
I always appreciate honesty. As long as you are respectful, I'm OK for 'you' not to like a song. Everyone has different tastes. Me personaly I liked PTD. And the more I listen the more I love it. It's definitely lift up my mood. I also love the details, like incorporating sign language into choreography. The stories armys shared about friends/family members who have hearing issues or are deaf reaction to the MV. It was touching to see them happy about being included. People with disabilities can feel sometimes being exclude by sociaty.
Exactly! I INSTANTLY feel happy everytime i listen to ptd. Especially with the sign language incorporated in the dance...makes it so much fun & meaningful. It's like my life hack now whenever i feel down, i start humming or play the song & just dance! Definitely need to listen to it a lot more to fall in love with it. Just a really feel good song 💜
They also included international sign language in their choreography, which mean ' joyful', 'dance' and 'peace'. I just love the message and inclusiveness in this music.
A lot of people hate on their English releases and how they aren’t the “old BTS”, but something that people aren’t taking into account is COVID, crazily. A lot of their music is something they have made with the large stage in mind, like ON, or Fire or Not Today. But putting out songs like that when there isn’t a stage for them and there isn’t a time in sight for them to be back on tour on stage must be really upsetting and difficult for artists who get a lot of their happiness and validation through their audience. Also, a lot of their music in the past has been deep with some darker connotations, some darker storylines. Yet again, not really something they are wanting to embrace in times like these. They are just wanting to make people happy.
EXACTLY!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SAYING THIS. It seems like a lot of people don’t see that. During these times now, we need something uplifting and songs that EVERYONE can listen to. As you said, many of their past songs or dances were hardcore, but since they don’t have a stage to dance on (especially with us Army not being able to be there), this is the next best thing at a time like this. Honestly, it’s sad how a lot of people are leaving BTS for their English songs. Compared to every single song they’ve given out, they’ve only put out 3 of the hundreds or even thousands of songs that are fully in English. Also, another thing, we can see how tired they are and we know that a few of the members did EXTREME diets (speaking specifically about Jungkook) for this comeback just for us to enjoy. We should appreciate what they are giving us, because honestly, they didn’t have to create a song for everyone to listen to, especially with one adding sign language for those that can not hear. Of course I’m not saying that EVERYONE HAS to love the song. Of course not. But a LOT of people are beginning to hate on them or leave them because of this and it’s really not understandable. I do thank rIverse for being honest and saying it wasn’t there favorite songs, but I also thank them a lot for not hating on it either, because so many people do that nowadays. ☹️
@@Jewelytt7 I find those that are hating on them or leaving aren’t true ARMY. Just like the ones who say they are ARMY then bash other groups. That isn’t what BTS stands for. You best believe BTS is probably piling up some on-stage bangers for an epic album series while they are making these songs. BTS have always experimented with their sound, this is just another phase of that. They want to make people happier and reach all those that say “I don’t listen to music I can’t understand.” Well, dancing is universal. I’ve also seen people hating on BTS for not having their OLD sound (like the We are Bulletproof, Fire, NO era) and I’m like…they didn’t even want that sound! It was forced onto them. ARMY stands by BTS, because we have faith in their music and their message. And let’s not forget that they also put out the BE album in the midst of the English tracks. Blue and Grey is an absolutely gorgeous track.
also it's worthy to note that the boys had always made music that reflected their thought-process and the society at the time of writing/recording the song. it's inevitable for their music to change as they themselves change and evolve with time. whoever that's asking for darker songs are pretty much wishing for the boys to go through it again, just for them to come up with concepts like that.
@@taesfilter3026 Exactly!! That’s very true. Although those types of songs, for example: Fake Love, I NEED U, RUN, etc were VERY amazing, they were also very sad. Honestly, the start of their more lighthearted songs actually began with Idol at the end of 2018, but that song had a MASSIVE message as well. It’s sad because after that, people are saying that they “changed.” Ugh…they didn’t change at all… So, I thank you for saying this. 💜👏💕❤️
Jungkook said he's gonna grow his hair long again and YES to the Jungkook having this extra special quality, the whole Micheal Jackson similarity is on point too.
i actually appreciate the fact that even if y'all didn't particularly like the song you stayed respectful and didn't straight up shit on the song and the work it took to produce it. and yeah you're right artists don't have to make deep and dark music all the time, PTD is far from being my favorite BTS song but the lightheartedness is very much appreciated during those times
Actually every era has been Jungkook's era though :). He is born to be a superstar with so much talents. As Dizz has said, Jungkook has something very special in him. One of journalists said "Jungkook has what is commonly called the “It Factor” in Hollywood. Jungkook was born with the ability to charm, seduce and make each person in his orbit feel special and desired." I can totally see what the journalist was talking about. And I got the feeling that it has only started for him. In the most recent Weverse interview, he said "I think I managed to do things in a more thought-out way. I was more attentive to my facial expressions and movements and thought through what I should do in each situation in each performance to do it in my own style. And it was kind of a fun process. I don’t feel any pressure about that; I just thought I can create that kind of image if I just try to be a little cool and not cringey (laugh) for people from now on." He has been killing us with his natural charm but he has clearly decided to add more on top of that. Looking forward to witnessing all that!!!
truuee. JK is that member who has the ability to put BTS on the spotlight. Without JK, BTS would've been stuck in the bottom forever. JK carries BTS that's all. 🥰
It’s absolutely ok not to like every song and thank you for showing your respect. I like this song, it doesn’t need to be extra-extraordinary but it does heal people heart and that already does its job 💜
BTS themselves have said they weren't trying to portray anything deep with this song. It's meant to be a lighthearted, hopeful song with a catchy tune for a summer vibe. The day before this was released there was a teaser and it contained the message that "purple balloons signify the end of Covid 19", so it is meant to give us hope for the future and to reassure us that this pandemic isn't a permanent situation (purple is also the colour for the fandom). They included sign language into the choreography to try to be more inclusive and purposely made the choreography simple so that the average person could do it. There was a "behind the scenes" video of the making of this video and it showed that no balloons were actually released into the air (the individual balloons had a ribbon, but also a fine line attached to them so they could be pulled back in and I imagine the mass balloon release at the end was CGI). I know this was an environmental concern for many people, but BTS are always super environmentally conscious. I honestly got emotional when people started ripping off their masks. I also think this is a song that grows on you more and more with each listen ...I know it did for me (at first I thought it was too pop for my taste). It's definitely not one of their deep, meaningful songs, but they feel that people need some lightheartedness these days. That was their staff they were dancing with at the end (security, stylists, MUAs etc) Thanks for reacting.
when i first heard it, i thought it had a disney channel/high school musical vibe, but then i found out that they just wanted to have fun. they’ve been in the industry for 8 years, have done EVERY concept, all these energetic choreographies, all these deep poem lyrics, so now they just want to have fun and relax. it gets better the more you listen to it though, i definitely think it does. but the sign language was super nice, and the choreography is really easy to learn, so everyone can do it. a fun simple song, just relaxing. but i LOVE how you guys don’t fake any reactions, some creators go super crazy and you can tell they’re faking bc they do too much lol, like calm down.
Ya'll are the top 3 reactors to me. I love that we get to see 4 different genuine reactions at once and each beautiful soul give us 4 different thoughts about the Song/MV. I absolutely love Khadija and Monroe. Khadija is just gorgeous with her looks and don't get me started on Monroe. Let's just say I have a crush on her like she has a crush for Jimin and Wonho. Now, excuse me while I go back and watch BTS Save Me for the 10,000th time. It's my #1 song by them.
2 things: Yes, it definitely has a High School Musical feel and I think they played in to that with the way the video is structured. There's a reason why everybody notices that it sounds like that, because HSM was incredibly popular and gave the audience an uplifting experience. I really think that the autotune, in addition to being a stylistic choice, is to help with pronunciation. If you watch the lives of all of their English songs, their voices are much clearer but the pronunciation is more accented. If you want to promote a song for the masses, not having a strong accent can help reach our xenophobic American audience. 💜
Loved your reaction. Don’t know if you noticed but they incorporated sign language into their choreography. I’m learning it right now and I thought it was incredible. See you guys next time.😘
pls i've been a fan of bts since they're debut and there are songs that i don't like. you don't have to like every single song 😭😭 and if ppl have a problem with somebody not liking one or multiple songs they're just stupid i'm sorry 😭
I think no one is complaining about people not liking the song, but to those people who badly criticize this song. This song is a special gift to bring comfort not to impress
Since I am a new baby army, I am such in awe of Jungkook, when my eyes first lay on him. He really gives that main character vibes without even trying. In butter, man I fell so in love! I am riding hard for him ever since 😭
I totally agree with Dizz’s comment about Jungkook and I appreciate your honesty because it’s so much easier to be biased. Jungkook really gives that star of the group vibe and a lot of korean media has named him the Michael Jackson of korea😉. And I disagree with Khadija’s comment a little bit (just so you know khadija, you’re my favorite♥️), I don’t think they intentionally brought him forward or anything because I actually thought I saw Jungkook less in this MV than any other😂, but it’s just something about him that allows him to steal the scene in seconds. It’s not just this era, it’s every comeback, he has something special about his stage presence , aura and charisma. Not to mention he holds the most positions in the group (main vocalist, lead dancer, sub rapper and center) and has talents in many other fields like directing , editing, drawing and designing so his contributions to the team are unlimited. He just brings so so much to the team and as the main singer he works so much more behind the scenes more than you can imagine from recording all the guides, choruses, background vocals and harmonies. The members call him a chorus genius because he nearly has chorus credits in every BTS song and even some other members’ solo mixtapes. I was introduced to BTS because of him like many others and his english covers alone brought millions to the fandom. Pretty much the backbone of the team whose full potential is yet to be witnessed. I can’t wait for his solo mixtape 😆.
Melosa , yeah of course he is the one and only Jungkook, and no one can ever replace Michael Jackson because every artist has something that makes him different and interesting but being titled like that in some media articles is obviously such an honor. We all know Jungkook is special in his own unique way and has his own individuality😊.
That's true. They've called him the Michael Jackson of Korea. Not just Korean media but international media and journalists and influences have likened him to Michael Jackson since Dynamite era. That's when their song went no1 on billboard. But ofcourse MJ can never be replaced nor likened because it's MJ, and Jungkook is Jungkook. I believe it's mostly to do with similarities in a couple of things rather than saying he is truly a version of MJ. That's what I believe to be so at the least. It would be kind of taking away the individuality of somebody if people start comparing the two. Theyre both unique in their own ways, but the only constant is that theyre both beautiful, humble and pure inside.
@@MrsNiaboo2000 Part of the text translated: twitter.com/jjk_times/status/1257496748508897280?s=21 Actual article: n.news.naver.com/article/022/0003462190 BTS in general gets compared to legends but anyone with a brain knows that they are all different and many look up to icons like MJ or the Beatles so idk why people act so stupidly surprised about this lmao.
The dance movements at the end are international sign language for dance, love and joy I believe. It's just meant to be fun and loving especially during covid. Not every song has to be ground breaking. I doubt we'll ever see an album with a single sound by BTS. Theyve never done it before.
I appreciate your honesty guys i wasn't sure about the song at first but after listening to it more and watching the live performances i grew to love it 💜💜
@@camilabarrios1819 everyone can appreciate every single member, this is a jk comment, you can go and make your own comment about all of them, everyone loves all of the members but everyone has a fav so don’t argue.
@@camilabarrios1819 there's always your type of person in every jk comment that's praising him. Go make comments abt the other members and leave pple to praise who they want.
We all have celebrities we admire and I'm sure at some point, you've listened to one of their songs and been like, "No Thanks!" So I wouldn't hold that against you guys. I love BTS, otherwise I wouldn't have stuck around for 6 years, but there has been 1 or 2 songs where I was like "Imma have to pass on this" so I get ya'll (I love PTD though =D )
Jungkook est vraiment spécial il a toujours quelque chose qui le démarque des autres comme les plus grands, mon regard reviens toujours vers jungkook et sa voix est un💎
7:15 when Jimin popped up and started singing I bawled😭That mans voice is everything! Also the ad libs he was doing, God his voice is a treasure. It touched my heart. His voice is just so beautiful and comforting🥺 Even sounds better live! Although it’s not really my taste, this song is such a fun feel song.
I thought y’all would’ve really vibed more with this one 😂😂 but one thing I absolutely adore about y’all is that y’all are honest with everything. Thank u rIVerse
Thank you for being so honest! The vocal processing didn’t bother me at first but the more I listened to it the more it got to me. So I’m glad you weren’t afraid of criticising the song. Y’all should really listen to the RnB version!
The dance at the end was actually sign language which touched so many People it was incredible to see so many stories and videos of how happy so many deaf people were because they felt so included
I love your honesty. Quite frankly...we all need more of that. Have you SEEN some of the reactors? Its like they dont know we can tell. Say it like you see it. Improvement can only come from honesty. and as an ARMY, I thank you xoxox
I’m the same way, HSM and the song had to grow on me. I love the message behind the song and video. It was so sweet to see so much diversity ❤️ But Kookie and that bayangg sent me the first time I watched the MV 😭😭🤣
Thank you for appreciating BTS and for an honest reactions. Thanks for mentioning Jungkook same feelings to me that why when he's on the screen or he is singing he has this special magic i cant explain. like magnet
What I love the most about you guys is your honesty. At first I didn’t like the song that much either but as I kept listening to it I started to like it and now I just can’t stop listening to it. But it’s really great to see your genuine reaction. You’re not pretending that you like it just to get more views like many people do and I respect that. Cause you made it clear that you still love bts, but loving an artist doesn’t equal liking all of their songs. With that said I would recommend, if you guys wanna change a little bit the mood and genre of songs, to listen to some bts old songs (fire, not today, boy in luv, etc) and maybe some live performances. I would also love to see your reaction to I’ll be missing you the cover they did on BBC radio. Thank u 4 your reactions ❤️
The song is cute and it’s grown on me. I agree with Zak, my only critique is the use of auto tune which has been a general issue I have some of their songs. It doesn’t take away from my love for their songs. It’s not my favorite song of theirs but I appreciate it. The choreo incorporated sign language and they made it simple for people to dance along to.
i think the autotune is pretty much a classic sound for pop songs in general, so i rlly don't blame them for that, esp when the rest of the industry is doing the same
@@taesfilter3026 that’s true I guess really noticed it once I got into BTS. Also the fact that they always sing live whereas the pop industry overall is known for lip syncing at times.
ISAK CHOI:"I believe that Jin is the ‘heart’ of BTS music. When the voices of four vocalists unite to rush to the climax of the song, his voice serves as the engine that further spikes the upsurge. On stage, he creates the power balance that completes their group dance " IM PROUD OF YOU JIN
Just glad that BTS are not afraid to to cool down a bit for showing off massive choreographies and just do simple fun dance like this so that even the youngest or the oldest member of the family can dance with it. BTS really is one of the light of hope and positivity in this pandemic situation. 💜
honeslty this song really grew on me, when i first heard it, i didnt like it and i didnt hate it. it just wasnt my ''style'' but once i heard it live and seen the live performances. I LOVE IT! The vocals are so good and when i sing along im like damn there are a lot of high notes! i love this live better than recorded version, i love this song A LOT NOW.
i’m always in awe of jimin’s voice. what an incredible and unique vocal talent, and Yes jimin he doesn’t need permission to dance. Jimin our dance king!✨
The fact that they used sign language in the choreo (the drumming motions and the thumbs half bent meaning "fun", the fingers moving side to side on the upwards palm meaning dance, the peace ✌sign when they wave their hands in the air and the fingers walking on the arm meaning to walk) shows how amazing these guys are and the part at the end showing how they regard and care for their crew was perfect. Also the different race, genders, and ethnicities and the overall inclusiveness makes me happy At the beginning of the teaser, you will see Suga reading a newspaper, and the front page reads: “Purple Balloons Signal The End of Covid-19” and “2022 The Beginning of a New Era, Good Bye Covid-19”. That is why it is full of purple balloons
I loved how you guys still respected them even if ptd wasn’t you guys favorite song from them . and you guys wasn’t being fake or dishonest you guys said your honest reaction without being disrespectful and I love it😊. and you guys always show appreciation towards every member of the group which I love . also , dizz is so right jungkook has really been popping out a lot since dynamite he’s really like a star now (he’s always has been ) but it’s just now even in butter it’s like every scene with him is so special and unique . also I love the other members so don’t get at me 🥲💜. but loved the reaction!
This song is about message they give out. Dance is incorporated with universal sign language of “dance, peace and happy” they are reaching to speech and hearing impaired children. 💜💜💜
This song is their gift for ARMY esp to those who have been suffering from this pandemic. This is not meant for reactors or critics. They have already said that may times when they released this song that this is all about being positive and they just want fans to enjoy this and to never think deep about this. They always make musics to express themselves and that is the reason why they are successful.
This song, as much as I loved the visuals, the dancing, and the message behind it, wasn’t one that captured me at first. But let me tell you this song grew on me so much, it now gives me a similar feeling to dynamite in the sense that it immediately makes me feel super happy and ready to dance every time it comes on. This one is one that I think grew on people lol
Exactly! I watched the music video and didn't like the song. Then my sister played it in the car and I was vibing. It grew on me and now it's my favorite song!!!!!! ☁️🤍☁️
It's a healing song. You're a great artist when you can do anything and people can appreciate it no matter how simple it is, but the message is impactful.
They incorporated the sign language in the choreography for the words *"dance, fun/happy/ joyful"* and *"peace"* I'm so glad that y'all also got *"All On This Together"* by *High School Musical* cause that's what I got but this song is like waaaayyy better
Really appreciate you guys! 🙏🏼 It’s so refreshing watching y’all’s reactions given there’s not enough honesty going around these days. I can only watch so much people pleasing before I swear off the internet 😅 On a side note: have y’all seen Jackson Wang’s new MV?! All I have to say is everyone’s sobbing after watching it.
In the shooting sketch they mentioned they really went for a happy musical vibe especially with the message behind the song, with the video set in the future post-covid.
Thank you for your honest reaction. I also do not like all of BTS songs but I never talk much that. Instead I focus on what I feel is meaningful from me which is supporting their projects regardless. They have really inspired my life in many ways, and given me hope that there's artists out there who actually- 1. Care about their impacting people positively and setting great examples to others; 2. Care about putting in 100 in everything including live performances 3. Care about professionalism and paying it forward 4. Genuinely care about their fans 5. Are not just interested in making money but changing the world 6. Are selfless, kind and humble even with the reputation they hold and 7. Have the resilience to push on with whatever little means and support in an industry that never gave a damn about them since day one. So I'll personally continue to give them my support. PTD is a playlist for me this round. Furthermore, yes, Jungkook is truly a bright shining star and there's something really special about him. Sometimes unbiased opinions may not be welcomed by others but it's the honesty that counts in the end. I appreciate it. I would also love it if you react to advice by Taemin ssi. Youre gonna love it honestly.👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿
But sometimes, reactors should research about the things that they need to react. Because obviously they dont know even small details about the song. The sign language, qngbthe reason behind BTS released this song.
@@irvingbalili4560 to be fair, they are not researchers or journalists or whatnot. They’re a reaction channel, so they react to what they are “given”. If the song, video, or choreography didn’t encourage them to want to look deeper into what’s behind what they see, then it is what it is. (no hate/shade/malice)
I enjoyed watching the music video the memebers were so cute especially jin he was so powerful i think he owned this song his vocals ,dance moves ,and visuals aint a joke he is a great pop star really he owned this masterpiecie he get more lines and every one asked about him after live performances he was the main event the mvp in this song and i like it
Purr. Honestly this was the first song I ain’t like at first. It took a couple listens but I love it and that y’all are honest cuz these other reactors be lying crazy Edit: I’m talking bout reactors who lie for views when you can clearly tell they don’t like a song…
I disagree tbh, many people love this song 😂 doesn’t have to be a fave of theirs by BTS but they do love it. Tho I only watch a handful of reactors who care about the music and groups they love sooooo idk about anyone else and how they react. But it is a song that folks love on first listen too.
Sharabia Kaia- how do you know that other reactors are lying ( are you by chance there mind in disguise ). You don’t know how they feel because you are not them.
I love this song but of course everyone has different tastes and personally I really liked your honest reaction about the song, 'cause you were always respectful and that is much appreciated 💖
"Permission To Dance" was a gift to Army on our 8th Birthday to show we're trying to move pass Covid and let's start enjoying life again by Dancing!🎂🎈🎁🎉🎊 I'm an Army that suffers from hearing loss and thought the MV was Amazing with ASL/ISL Dancing!😲👏🕺🎶🎤🌎👑 #Butter9thNo1OnBBHot100 #PTD9th #ArmyWithLuv
In the spoilers before the MV came out it showed one of them holding a newspaper dated 2022 where it said Covid is finally over and the sign will be purple balloons in the air.
i understand you guys dont like this type of song and i loved the reaction!! I particularly love this type of song, this high school musical vibe, this kind of Broadway Musical vibes... hahaha i love musicals in general so.... haha PTD is my vibe hahaha like dynamite and butter - its one of the best eras of BTS for me
I got goosebumps from this reaction video! I love how they REALLY appreciate the music, the song, and the message BTS is trying to tell us. RIVerse my favorite reactors💜💜💜
I like the honesty of your comments guys. You're all right that not all the time you liked a song. I enjoyed listening PTD and I like it that they used it to make all of us to stay positive despite our current situation. much respect to BTS. 💜
I really appreciate the reaction, its true that they make these songs because of the pandemic situation. The autotune thing is true also, what I can say is listen to their live performances of that songs youll see their voices were not that half baked
I mean, one can argue every era is JK's era with how many lines he gets, but I agree with y'all saying imhe stood out. Other than being the main vocal, I feel like it's bc he's the 2nd best English speaker. Also, lowkey, this is actually Jin's era. He might as well have gotten the most lines in this cb. He was off from 1st by like less than 5 seconds.
I can tell you're a Vmin solo stan, because you're pissed about JK's and Jin's lines. Even though most of JK's lines were ad libs, and Jin's lines were "nanananannaana". Jungkook standing out has nothing to do with his English. There is no difference in pronunciation in any of the MVs because of the amount of post production involved. Anyway, good luck with being a Vmin stan - I'm sure it will go well for you in the future.
@@maridalmada4267 Thank you for (incorrectly) assuming I'm a Vmin stan. Also thank you for pointing out that I was so clearly pissed. I'm so glad to hear that you know my emotions and intentions better than myself. I didn't know that I was angry when I wrote this post. I thought I was making a joke or simply pointing out my thoughts. I'll correct my thoughts now and force myself to be angry about the line distribution. Have a great day.
The song was released on ARMY's birthday, it was a song meant to make ARMYS happy and make people hopeful that one day we'll be able to be back to normal. Also, Ed Sheeran wrote this song, so BTS themselves didn't really have to deal with a lot with this song. I love this song and the message that it brings behind it, also that "Awkward dancing" you were talking about is sign language, that they used to not only bring awareness but to also bring in more fans so that everyone can fit in. Also, when you were talking about the rapline singing, yes they've all sung before in songs, Jhope is a sub-vocalist so he does sing quite often, and if you look it up he does a lot of harmonization, and backing vocals, also RM has sung multiple times and has an amazing voice, I remember he did a cover of a Troye Sivan song with Jungkook and sounded amazing and he's done a couple other stuff to, also Suga has sung quite a bit in both BTS songs and Agust D songs, he has a song called seesaw that's really nice. And as I said before this song was mostly supposed to just be a feel good song for ARMYS to enjoy , I really wish people would stop taking it so seriously, (I'm not talking about you guys, I'm talking about other reactors I've seen react to this song). Also you guys don't have to worry about not liking a song, I honestly took me like 5 listens or more into the song actually grew on me and that's been the case for a number of their songs, like DNA and Boy With Luv also to me a while to start liking, I like all the songs now, but it just took me a while. Thanks for reacting, and sorry for the long essay lol.
I'm loving the cowboy/country style they have going on and I'm also giving props to the stylist noonas for styling them this way and also props o to the people in the MV as you could see they were clearly havin fun. I'm loving the beat and the line " I don't need permission to dance" will be stuck in my head for ever and always now, also it's such and iconic line and is up there with " Get it, Let it roll". I'm also loving the beat of the music as it'd so happy and upbeat and really summery, it also makes me wanna smile just seeing them have fun. The choreo is so groovy and makes me wanna dance and I just wanna groove with it also as there isn't really that much choreo it's really easy to dance too. I love their MV as it shows the boys having fun with eachother and other people also the vocals are as amazing as ever, I especially love yoongis vocals as he really can sing, and it makes me wanna sing along. It all being English aswell also makes it their 3rd all English song and this one is just as catch as Dynamite and Butter. Also I love the message behind the song ad it basically says no matter what or where you are if you here music you love just dance along to it as you don't need permission to dance and have fun. Us armys are getting so spoilt on our birthday and o just love the guys so much and you can clearly see how much they love us back k by just seeing how hard they work and how they care about us. You'll never get another band like BTS who love their fans so much and who works so hard for them.
Lol Monroe, RM wasn’t wearing a WIG; they dye his hair that way which does honestly make it look like he’s wearing one. *Majority of them have new haircuts not except for JIN and SUGA so far unless they had their haircut but hasn’t been revealed yet.*

Neringa- I agree with you 100%. I love the song because it’s happy and makes you want to get up and dance along with them.
I agree
Yes the sign language, joyful, dance n peace. Feeling warm in heart knowing this details, how thoughtful of them 😊
Khadija smiling and getting excited whenever Jk shows up is adorable!!!
@@i_kpop_fan EXACTLY. What you said is very true. 👏 It’s very nice to see someone else that understands my point of view with this. 💜☹️
also it's worthy to note that the boys had always made music that reflected their thought-process and the society at the time of writing/recording the song. it's inevitable for their music to change as they themselves change and evolve with time. whoever that's asking for darker songs are pretty much wishing for the boys to go through it again, just for them to come up with concepts like that.
It’s sad because after that, people are saying that they “changed.” Ugh…they didn’t change at all…

Actually every era has been Jungkook's era though :). He is born to be a superstar with so much talents. As Dizz has said, Jungkook has something very special in him. One of journalists said "Jungkook has what is commonly called the “It Factor” in Hollywood. Jungkook was born with the ability to charm, seduce and make each person in his orbit feel special and desired."
I can totally see what the journalist was talking about. And I got the feeling that it has only started for him. In the most recent Weverse interview, he said
"I think I managed to do things in a more thought-out way. I was more attentive to my facial expressions and movements and thought through what I should do in each situation in each performance to do it in my own style. And it was kind of a fun process. I don’t feel any pressure about that; I just thought I can create that kind of image if I just try to be a little cool and not cringey (laugh) for people from now on."
He has been killing us with his natural charm but he has clearly decided to add more on top of that. Looking forward to witnessing all that!!!

That was their staff they were dancing with at the end (security, stylists, MUAs etc) Thanks for reacting.
cant lie when i first heard it i said the same thing very high school musical. not my fave but always love and support BTS!!
when i first heard it, i thought it had a disney channel/high school musical vibe, but then i found out that they just wanted to have fun. they’ve been in the industry for 8 years, have done EVERY concept, all these energetic choreographies, all these deep poem lyrics, so now they just want to have fun and relax. it gets better the more you listen to it though, i definitely think it does. but the sign language was super nice, and the choreography is really easy to learn, so everyone can do it. a fun simple song, just relaxing. but i LOVE how you guys don’t fake any reactions, some creators go super crazy and you can tell they’re faking bc they do too much lol, like calm down.
2 things:
Yes, it definitely has a High School Musical feel and I think they played in to that with the way the video is structured.

Jungkook is insanely talented. His spinning was epic.
THE MICHAEL JACKSON OF KOREA????...Who said that? Please list sources for research purposes. Thanks.
I dislike these kinds of titles like "Michael Jackson of Korea" 😑 I mean he is Jungkook of Korea he doesn't need to be another Michael jackson

Also the different race, genders, and ethnicities and the overall inclusiveness makes me happy

I particularly love this type of song, this high school musical vibe, this kind of Broadway Musical vibes... hahaha i love musicals in general so.... haha PTD is my vibe hahaha like dynamite and butter - its one of the best eras of BTS for me
Love your reaction towards Hobi, he looks amazing as always 💜
oh my God, the fasHUN jumped OUT!!!!!!!! I'm living for these looks
I have been waiting for this. Thank you rIVerseLive!! Love love from Philippines 🥰
I really appreciate the reaction, its true that they make these songs because of the pandemic situation.
The autotune thing is true also, what I can say is listen to their live performances of that songs youll see their voices were not that half baked
Yeah the live performances are fire 🔥
I mean, one can argue every era is JK's era with how many lines he gets, but I agree with y'all saying imhe stood out. Other than being the main vocal, I feel like it's bc he's the 2nd best English speaker. Also, lowkey, this is actually Jin's era. He might as well have gotten the most lines in this cb. He was off from 1st by like less than 5 seconds.
the lines are well deserved
Why you sound butthurt???
imhe?
This was great thanks guys! i want you to react to bts's film out live its so so good vocally and everything , hope you guys get to do it
The song was released on ARMY's birthday, it was a song meant to make ARMYS happy and make people hopeful that one day we'll be able to be back to normal.
I love every song of bts😅
this song got to me in the third listening🥰
MERHABA TOO ALL OF U GUYS , SO MUCH LOVE FROM TURKEY 💖💖
5:06 the way everyone was SHOOKETH to the core at namjoon omg 💀💀
8:16 the way Zak and Monroe were in sync 😭
Also it's a RUclips shorts challenge like people on RUclips were doing the dance during the end of the song
You'll never get another band like BTS who love their fans so much and who works so hard for them.
this has got to be the most wholesome song i've ever heard
Lol Monroe, RM wasn’t wearing a WIG; they dye his hair that way which does honestly make it look like he’s wearing one. *Majority of them have new haircuts not except for JIN and SUGA so far unless they had their haircut but hasn’t been revealed yet.*
yalls reactions to joonie and hobi is such a big mood
WE GO ALL AROUND THE WOOORLD
FINALLYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!! i have been waiting for soooo long ! thankyouu for the videeo!
