EAS Sarma garu is an un-compromising IAS officer who served the Govt both at Centre and state highest official positions. His vision for the state should seen as a sggestion for over all development of the state all over 3 regions so that tommorrow a situation like Combined state of AP should not recur which will go against AP s progress for along time to come. Amaravati development with the present Plan will make entire capital expenditure to be diverted towards Amaravati disregarding other areas of the state. In India our experience to develop a green field capitals worth recapitulating it. Chandighar which is a combined capital of Punjab, Haryana took 70 years to become a 10 to 12 lakh population. A capital is to be built of its people from all over the state like in Hyderabad not with people belonging to 2 or 3 communities in the state dominant in VJY. The Naster Plan of Amravati under CRDA is a hastily done without participation of all sections of the people.The area of Amaravati with 124 Sq. Kms along with ViJY 0f 61.43 sq.Km with round a population of 25 to 30 lakhs in the next 30years is not going to solve the problems of A.P. Vizag with 24 lakh population presently with 640 Sq.Kms of area with industrialization prior i Independene and immediately after formation of AP has thrived as 9th largest of Indian city economies is the only hope of AP to raise its economy from 14.6 lakh crores today to 170 lakh crore economy in the next 25 years. Further thwe A.P Govt should focus on developing the Vizag-Chennai Corridor, Chennai- Bangalore and Hyderabad Industrial corridors with 10 to 15 Industrial cities among yhe highways with population of about 10 llakhs of each new city that can solve the problem of unemployment and migration of rural people to Htderabad in search of wage employment. If this is neglected and the entire capital expenditure towards Amaravatim it is going to pay heavy price to the srate of AP andpeople should repent on it. If the Govt is particular of developing Anaravati, it should be on the lines of other smart cities in AP but not diverting entire capital expenditure only towards Amaravati.
