Hi Kyle, Thanks for the update about the situation in Western Northern Carolina. You’ve been amazing in coordinating the giving of much needed supplies to those people in need. The Railroad crews have gone above and beyond with there efforts to get in areas cut off. Stay safe. Thanks
What you and your neighbors are doing is more important than filming a railroad operation. You are the Lord's earthly servant and I'm proud of you and all of your associates relief efforts. God speed!😇😎🚂🚃🚃🚃✝
Kyle...thanks for another Quality video! I feel so bad for you guys in North Carolina! My family was without power for 8 days...some of you lost entire towns and homes...I can't imagine the heartbreak and grief of losing all you have including family members...God bless you all! My family's prayers are with you!
It's so wonderful of you to help your neighbors. Take care.❤. Wow, a goat or mule train shows the hard work you all are doing. Many blessings to all out there hurting. 🌹
I just want to say thank you Kyle, for everything that you and the railroad is doing for the people up in North Carolina and South Carolina and all the way down to the Florida coast and now Florida is done got hit with another one but anyway, my friend as always, you stay safe out there and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one
Thank you for the update. Kudos to CSX and NS for taking care of their neighbors and rail fans. Have been hearing a lot of videos from folks who received Star Links from Elon Musk. Big KUDOS to you and your missus for the TLC you have given to your neighbors. Have seen the mule and goat trains and was amazed. Big KUDOS to the folks of WNC for their resilience in the face of such imcredible odds against them. You folks are constantly in my prayers. And now I'm crying with you. God bless and keep you all and I'll be checking for updates. BTW almost forgot KUDOS to the many RUclipsrs who've tried so hard to get the news out and help wherever needed. All of you are incredible. Love from CT and I will be trackside with you.
My wife and I moved to New Bern NC from Annapolis MD. We have a number of good clean winter coats and other items of which we don't need anymore. Where and who could we meet to give to. Joe Randazzo
I live within 100 yards of the track in Mayo SC. I have seen many loads of Gravel headed north. This has been a great railroad all my life. My Grandfather worked for the Clinchfield Railroad for 45 Years. I know those working are hard to repair and get the Marion NC to Irwin Tn track back open.
Hey its Lyman Feels good to hear our updates and it feels good to know that you’re doing all right and that the railroad is already working on getting things restored and ready to go. Over here in Asheville things aren’t looking good for our railroads. We’ve seen severe damage over here and I don’t know how long it will be before we get trains again they’ve made plans but haven’t started working on anything yet.
Right now the rerough trains are comming by here theu the new river gorge so y the clitchfield is beong rebuild filmung the trains that go by you so glad to see line being rebuild
Hey- I found your channel looking for info on repairs on the Blue Ridge sub. The big hole you mentioned on this video at the “198”, can anyone tell me where that is? Glad to hear repairs are proceeding. I’ve ridden back roads north of Burnsville and Spruce Pine up to Erwin several times and it’s amazing how many times you cross the tracks. Those crews have a tough job ahead of them.
Where in Western NC are you? I'm in Clay county. I've had some friend come in from out of state. One guy loaded up a tractor trailer and had a caravan of pickups hauling Skid steers small front loaders and 4X4's the roads were pretty much gone and they built about 2000 feet of road. Another guy flew a helicopter in to Hickory from Florida where there was a whole slew of helicopters. he had stuff in the back and he made many trips to fly in goods and flay out people. The real heartbreak is that no sooner did he get home he had to brace for Milton. He made it through with minimal damage. Thanks for what you're doing. We didn't get hit but our Ingles store is only getting goods from the regular vendors. The warehouse got flooded.
I was thinking that. Also the L&N that used to link with the Southern in Murphy NC. That line saved the people in western NC during the Great Flood of 1916.
You realize other railroad companies have derailments? You seem to forget the massive derailment years ago in West Virginia of a CSX train that caught fire hauling oil and jet fuel.
Why not partner up with post office and set up a receiving station for Amazon and UPS only staff it for them that way people can come there and pick up there packages.
Bless you sir for all you are doing. Its a shame that there are always scum bags looking to steal and scam people in these situations. Luckily more good people out there.
Past experience, we used retired railroad flat cars for improvised bridges. Wonder if a manufacturer of firewood processing machines, might cut a deal to supply firewood processing machines, to recover downed trees, etc. and process it into firewood, for heat, cooking, etc.. Maybe someone to come up with wood stoves?
I don't mean to be negative but as far a spruce pines they are not there to help the community the mega hole is just under the city 90 percent of all dump trucks are running to them 1 tieing up quarry 2 tieing up over 70 dump trucks hauling to it I have been working this area since the start I just think when your on the ground you understand better but this stance that the rail road is here to help the community is false it may help to get tracks open I understand other then that it's not the actual
I'm surprised they haven't put down planks and turned the railroad tracks into a corduroy road for some vehicles, or loaded some vehicles onto rail cars and pulled them off rail cars. I'll say this, I'd love to help but I have to keep the roof over my head or I'd be headed that way. Too far behind on my ICS classes.
Thank you for all you and the rest of the marauders are doing for the community down there! Stay safe!
Glad to hear that NS & CSX are helping the community
They are not I am here been here with my equipment and employees helping for free they are not helping spruce pines or Burnsville
@@ryankemp3506maybe not those exact areas but they are for sure helping closer to erwin tn.

Hi Kyle & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Kyle & Friends Randy
Thanks!
Everybody needs to know that 18 wheelers are not the only ones helping.
Hey! I’m so glad you’re doing okay after this storm. I live in Ellenboro which is not far from Marion. But glad to hear that you’re safe.
I'm so glad to hear that they are fixing the Clinchfield
So a trainline matters more than lives?
@@BattleshipOrion where did I say that?

Got power back on a few days ago after 10 days
Damn. I always thought you were 12 years old with that intro 😂
Glad to see a video been a few days lol
Finally...a video that is talking about the impacts of a natural disaster, not NYC 3001, or 'this line won't be rebuilt'.

It's unfortunate that the Norfolk Southern allowed the saluda tracks to become unusable

I'm sure ns will do a great job, like they did in Ohio.

Rjcorman crew will get the big hole filled up for csx

How do I get a donation out to y’all?
So, is NS still running IMs from Rutherford to ATL VIA NC?
Use a UPS service (choice) for 20 bucks annually that brings the items to the home and not using the post office
Hey guy what's up
How are you doing friend?
How many watt generators?
The hand carry size?
what size of generator? how many (k)VA ? or watts?
Is Fema trying to stop train companies?
No, of course not. Geez....
Wouldn’t surprise me
Common sense isn't very common anymore. Too much conspiracy tv...

I am so proud of my fellow southerners. We will get out of this ourselves. Biden, Harris and FEMA can just stay out of the way.
Thanks!
