My latest creation is a tribute to my wushu hero Zhao Qing Jian the King of today's wushu. Hes simply the best of the best even tho he is a grandpa by wushu standards today ahah
5/5. brilliant I have been practicing wushu for 13 years but he still amazes me. he is already pretty old to be an "active",but..u know... he's propably not the best out there, or to be more precise, he is not. but he is still top, and he practically invented the sport new. legends never die;)

he an original. everybody who really does wushu knows him. Though he is "old" for this sport, his movements are still fluid like a dance - Wushu is a mix of dancing and martial art elements - that is why it is called the "flower and pearl" of martial arts.
He is definately the model of what wushu should be,speed and conrol of movement.we see alot of just speed nowadays,which is fine and well.wushu is to increase health and richness if life.which it should in for every practioner.the greatest enemy u can conquer is youself
Wow! Nice video and editing. What is that aweseom song??? Zhao's amazing. All his stuff is textbook and beyond! But he seems to have some trouble with his splits, but then who wouldn't, with legs like that?
@gui123you when we practice wushu shifu normally sets apart a couple of hours to work on sanda, chinese wrestling, jointlocks, and weapon sparring. when we go to competitions we normally win medals for fighting. dont say we lack experience because some of us dont :)

Most young kids first start learning Wushu just for fun, but when novelty wears off and they can not take the pain during training, they begin to argue that Wushu is of no use, because they never saw Wushu athletes in a boxing ring and kick big guy's ass. Actually, anyone that is able to do things in this video can fight better physically, but what they lack is battle experience in a boxing ring.
@akarc24 he's actually quite mild once you get to know him. Some ego is necessary in wushu in order to do the forms well. Such as instinctively pulling off clean poses in forms..
He is the one how let me pssionately in wushu~~ and the one tell me how is the top level of wushu~~ His really high butterfly kick His really fast staff And the head , eyes can match as once is the most importance things of wushu~~
@MissBellaLuca Yes, i actually practice tae kwon do because is not so hard like wushu, because i'm college and i cannot take all my energies in a real wushu training. Tae kwon do is good but wushu is extremely good.
hi, I want to start out Wushu i'm asian, male, about 14 years old, about 5'10 and i weigh around 135... i have very little experience in martial arts.. is wushu right for me? I'm very dedicated and will do whatever it takes to be successful in the art.
@gui123youany of those fancy moves arnt for ombat not even a bit. SO yea after all wushu/shaolin etc are all for performance , never to fight , cannot fight. Only guys that use sanda can fight =)
@mel956 Glad to hear about your other training, good for u :) I bet u guys are able to get the hang of any battle faster and better than others who never touched Wushu.

Zhao Qingjian is pretty cool. I would like to meet him someday. He's not all that old for Wushu. Any age is acceptable in any martial art.

There are no 'best' wushu athletes, because wushu consists of many routines - some are better than others at this but weaker at that.
