A good follow up is to watch the interview that Chrissie Mayr recently did with Arden Young. She fortunately didn't have to go through what some of those Nickelodeon kids did, thankfully, (except for a teacher in her acting classes practically forcing her and another female classmate at 13 years old to make out as "practice" for potential scenes in front of everyone) but she saw and knew of a lot of stuff, and has some great insight into how messed up being a kid actor in Hollywood was, to get into the industry and keep getting work.

Years ago I remember watching a documentary similar to that and I'm sure Chris watched as well(I don't remember the title) and it had familiar faces in it as well like the main actor from Boy Meets World and Sean William Scott from those American Pie movies was in it. One young actor had been promised acting jobs but when he went there, was lured into a World of gay-pedo ring(even though he was straight) and his parents did not know what was going on and he ended up killing himself. Dan Schneider had been shown in the Doc as well and his action with these young actreses. As well as a guy that was working on a lot on these children shows and worked with Leonardo Decaprio. In that documentary you saw a young Leo and his relationship with this man came off pretty weird. A sort of rukus happened when that Doc came out but not a lot came out from it. I hope this new one end up being more usefful.

I thought the same at first but what was just an issue of working with a demanding boss gets much darker. Obviously he was wrong for paying less to “the girls” but the worst thing is he bringing any kind of sexual interactions into a workplace environment, and around kids or involving kids as we see on the last episodes. He was not innocent. There’s no evidence but he also shows weird behavior and it’s suspicious that he just happened to hire these pedophiles by accident, and what about the camera men in his crew that was fired by complaining about how they treated kids? Nope. He doesn’t deserve any sympathy at all.

But, while it’s horrible what happened to Drake, the documentary definitely skimmed over his own criminal transgressions. A thirty something sexting a teen isn’t okay.
