This was one of my grail kits I was happy to finally obtain.

Its very easy to sand down the inside of each half until wafer thin. Then its easier to squash the halves down to each other and give it a more shallow angle more like the studio model. Just use good glue like jbweld and spread all over each channel inside so that they meet using a heavy weight.

I've reinjured my back this past week, and tomorrow we're going to be installing heavy glass all day. After that, I'll be editing a new video for a company, and then I should be back at it with an all new build video :)

Those projections out of the launch/landing bays are legacy items on carriers, from when aircraft were attached to a catapult with a bridle, instead of an item on the nose landing gear. This kit would be much improved w/ in scale Cylon Raiders.

I had thought about that as well, but I think this ship is supposed to be something like 1:4000 scale, so that would sadly be difficult.

Cool kit and still a bit cheaper than the Moebius kit.
