    Very good video! I like what I heard Tiger say about hitting the driver: "Swing absolutely as hard as you can, under two conditions: 1. That you can maintain balance and 2. You can guarantee you'll hit the ball in the center of the club face!" 👍

      Hard to argue with Tiger when it comes to the driver...in his prime he was the best in the game with that club....thanks for the post and adding to the conversation

    Great video and tips as all tips involve the young golfer developing higher mental skills associated with the game and their game getting better. Excellent tips on stats/evaluation as I shaved 25 strokes over past 3 years by tracking greens in reg, drives that permit desirable second shot, number of putts per hole, things right/wrong per hole such as sand trap, odd distance, proper layup, tried to be a hero, etc. so I can look back and see where things went well so I can do more of that, and where to make adjustments. I’ll keep my prior scorecards so next time I play I can reference where I excelled and where I screwed up. Great tip about middle of the green; Ben Hogan stated “the middle of the green is always in the same place.”

    The biggest thing I cant figure out is how you teach them to understand structure where you do not show a loose swing.

    • @USGOLFTVshow
      @USGOLFTVshow  2 года назад

      That can be a tough one. The best we can do is to build that structure for them when and where possible. Over time they will see the benefits of it....

      What part of your game is the most challenging?

    • @nelsonxz2067
      @nelsonxz2067 4 года назад +1

      US GOLF TV just hitting stupid shots i need more consistency

    • @Natedoc808
      @Natedoc808 3 года назад

      By stupid shots do you mean trying make highlight reel/hero shots, ie trying to hit up over trees or through sniper gaps instead of safe play? Or do you mean you just duff a shot (top it, thin it, etc) when you need to execute a quality shot? You mentioned loosing stupid shots- do you mean losing them as in you go OB and cannot find the ball? Or that your playing too loose, as in reckless?
