For that price, I'll rather get the i9 12900H version of Minisforum MS-01 that has dual 10GbE and dual USB4 connections which also comes with 32GB RAM and 1TB Nvme SSD. They have the same price of $699!
I bought one six months ago. Set it up, plugged in the Screens and nothing happened. I am not very good with pc, still, I had assumed that it was a straightforward issue.
Forget the Client Support. I emailed, Whatsapp, Chat . NOTHING. Nobody ever came back to me.
Fortunately , I had bought it through Amazon.
So I returned it, , was paid back quickly and then bought and HP Pro Mini. Plugged the screens and it has been working perfectly ever since.
I ma writing this review via this HP
This mini PC is very powerful, it could probably beat alot of modern day laptops in terms of performance.
Love the video. I have purchased used units and always wiped them back to factory new. The thing that I am concerned about is the issue with BIOS as I think you have previously identified. What is the best way to ensure no buried issues with a new or previously owned unit? Thanks in advance.
Do you think such a machine will be able to handle music production?
Can 5.1 sound be used on these.
Sorry if I missed it but does it come with Windows built - and if it does, is it Windows 11 Pro or the Home version?
I might go with the AM5 cpu cuz it has the avx512 instruction and i want it to last 16 years or 15 at least.
These are indeed nice units but the support is non existent. No response at all to chatbot or emails. Beware.

@@Britec09 - Nice but the last thing you want to hear from her tonight is "Oh look, how little and cute is that!" ha-ha-ha
Could I hook this up to the TV and play films from external hard drive,
ive tried plugging external hard drives straight to 5v usb connector on the TV but this method has broke 2 external hard drives after a few short months use for some reason,
not sure if the tv has the wrong electrical power to make the external hard drives function properly.
Yes
An option would be a male to female usb extention .5m. If the v drop and resistance is low enough. Hd might still spin up then disconnect the male female rather than wear tv port
Bretiec09 Is the Xt, is powerful then intel core i 9 ?
it is a i9
@@Britec09 ohh
I can see where it'd have its uses, but it's not for me. Something I could fit a 2 slot GPU in might do it, I have seen some impressive small form factor builds. That said, my next build is anything but mini, I've even got to move out of home before I can build it! Final point to note, if you do a full scan with Windows Security, you need to stop your monitor from going to sleep. If you let it sleep and wake the monitor, the full scan never completes.
nice video!
The case design is nicely cloned from the 1st generation Mac Minis (with the PowerPC CPU) - nothing wrong with that, these Mac Minis set the stage and were the great great grand parents of all these mini PCs almost two decades ago. Question: Does it come with built in viruses and spyware like the Ace Black Magics? Seriously: This is a powerful package without the thermal trouble similar units seem to show, and the price is a lot better than what I would expect from a compact prebuilt from a more mainstream source (like an Optiplex mini for instance).
How will they dissipate the heat, with ice cubes . Lol
$699 is very expensive.
Windows 10 Pro, probably intended for business market
Nice 👍
Thanks ✌
There very good I've got 2

👍👍
Pretty weird you can find a mini pc with N100 chip + ddr5 but a much more powerful and expensive mini pc has ddr4.
I was shocked to see DDR4, maybe there is a reason for it.
@@Britec09 Maybe to shave down the price slightly?
@@screenplayhouse4932 Probably but people who buy an i9 instead of an i7 or i5, already expect the price to reach sky high, 50-75$ more are not gonna break their pocket, they buy premium and expect premium max specs.
👍👍👍👍👍
$$$$$$ Noney Money Money where's the Tech not the Salesman?
Hmm not a fan of mini PC's Brian but am amazed how small these units are becoming and frankly would not be surprised if they became the size of a matchbox.
🙂👍
