"After Life" is a gripping thriller that begins with a funeral parlor employee, Jack, accidentally discovering a long-forgotten dossier in one of the old boxes. This dossier contains information about the mysterious disappearance of a young woman that occurred ten years ago.
Under the influence of his curiosity and desire to uncover the truth, Jack initiates his own investigation into the case. Gradually, the dark and convoluted details of the story are revealed, and he finds himself facing various obstacles and dangers as he tries to penetrate the essence of the mysterious events.
During the investigation, Jack discovers that the woman's disappearance is connected to a mysterious cult operating in the shadows, controlling the lives of many people in the city. As he gets closer to solving the puzzle, his own life is threatened, and he realizes that unraveling this mystery may be much more dangerous than he anticipated.
With each new discovery, Jack realizes that the scale of the conspiracy is much broader than he thought, and his own beliefs and values are seriously tested. Ultimately, he must make a decision: continue his investigation and risk everything, or forget about this secret and return to ordinary life, leaving the mysteries of the past forever unsolved.

When this movie was ending and Dylan and Katie ended up together, I just cried and cried. I never met my true love. I am sixty now and am afraid I am going to die before I ever meet my soulmate. So that kinda leaves me feeling Charlie in this movie when she finally realized that she was the one who was dead. I pray to God I meet my true love before I die. God bless all.

Thank you I was super confused when obviously incorrect actors are on screen and the plot is totally off but now I’m watching cuz this is interesting so far. Plus I like the one actor (the older guy). He’s the same guy who was in a series of unfortunate events I hated that he died in that one and the orphans couldn’t just stay with him in that movie.
I've watched this movie before under a different name but I enjoyed it the first time so am watching it again. They say you pick up more and understand more if you watch a movie again.

I think so , I noticed some stuff I didn't catch in another movie that I watched over again .
This movie isn't the one in the description, but it's still a good story; I like how the pieces fit together at the end. The cinematography was amazing, and the acting was good. Dylan looks like a young John Malkovich. I'd never seen Rose McGowan before, but she's definitely got acting chops.

This movie is unsettling! I was tempted to switch it off multiple times, not due to its depiction of death. Life is too short to ponder who will attend my funeral. I've already informed my children that I'll haunt them, particularly when they need me the most. Life is too brief to fret over the guest list; I highly doubt I'll be aware of who attends.
You'll see them all and you'll be wondering whose body is in the coffin. You'll have no regard for that body and you won't feel sorry for your family as you'll be so happy in the form you're in; the life on earth will be so distant for you and you won't like the idea of being back in your too small body.
You'll be able to be anywhere you wish at the very moment you think about that place.
You'll be surrounded by love. ❤️

you might need to fix your hearing instead as i doubt they will go through the bother of fixing the sound, they made need better equipment for that and that is money, if you are 70% impaired, it might mean you need the wax cleaned out of your ears by a doctor.

Another one of those films that's more about obscure dialogue, impenetrable plot lines, odd shooting angles and, in parts, a St Vitas Dance - afflicted camera man. Such 'cleverness' does not serve to entertain.

I don't want a funeral. I told my husband to do whatever is cheapest. Life and what you do with it is more important. I tell my family I love them every time I see them or talk to them and whenever my girls tell me they love me I tell them I know they do.
