Vincent D'Onofrio deserves more praise for his portrayal of Wilson Fisk. I recently watched The Untouchables and I couldn't stop but noticing that his version of The Kingpin is like a modern version of Al Capone, except much more cold blood and calculating, who learns with his mistakes and don't underestimate his enemies. Brilliant. But I think we can't expect the Emmys or any stupid award show to recognize it. Too bad, since he never won anything for Full Metal Jacket.
D'Onofrio's portrayal of Fisk was so beautifully nuanced in season 1. simultaneously terrifying and yet also vulnerable to the point of evoking empathy. i agree...he definitely should have got some recognition.
The best thing about the dynamic between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk is that’s the unstoppable force vs the immovable object. No matter what Matt does Fisk always stays where he’s at as the kingpin of Crime and no matter how bad Wilson beats Matt or try’s to destroy, physically, mentally, or emotionally Matt just keeps coming at him. It’s a rivalry that not only consist of hate but also the determination and stubbornness in both of them of not giving up

I’m so glad Vincent is enjoying his role as Fisk. Obviously Charlie is having a blast with DD, so hopefully this show will get extended for a few more seasons. If we’re all being honest here, Netflix is spot on as hell when picking these actors for their roles. I can never see anybody else playing these two.
At first, I was confused, thinking OK is this character Wilson, Fisk or just somebody that looks like him but I’m glad it turned out to be him Vincent D’Onofrio truly is the best actor to play a live action Wilson, Fisk/kingpin because of his voice and it looks. He truly looks like the king pin from the comics and the cartoon, no offence to make a quick Duncan. He had a good voice, but Vincent has the right luxe to the character and I’m looking forward to seeing him again in the ECHO and daredevil born again.

Who would've known that Private Pyle would become the most powerful and ruthless kingpin in all of New York? He went from being a nobody in Full Metal Jacket to a somebody most people fear in Daredevil.
I love how they used Fisks suit colour as a Transition into the Kingpin. Fisk starts of in black , a criminal who lives in the shadows and others not dare mention his name. Meets Vanessa. She makes him change tack and approach it more like a politician suit changes to grey. Getting introduced to the world. Kingpin / white suit . After his time in prison , he knows what he has to do. And everyone knows who he is and what he's capable of.

I liked IRON FIST season 2. Hated IRON FIST season 1, JESSICA JONES season 2, and the second half of LUKE CAGE season 1 was terrible, The PUNISHER season 1 was meh, and certain episodes of LUKE CAGE season 2 was good to borderline terrible once again. DAREDEVIL is the only show that has been consistent. DAREDEVIL season 1...was great, DAREDEVIL season 2 was good. Here`s hoping that season 3 will be excellent.
I swear, this incarnation of Wilson Fisk is the most terrifying villain I've ever seen. Only the thought that he knows your identity is shivering enough to cause you cold feet.

Just something I noticed while rewatching Season 1 of DD - in episode 5 when Vanessa and Fisk are in the restaurant, she mentions being enticed by a tall man in a white suit and an ascot. Now, in season 3 when Wilson Fisk is finally wearing the iconic white suit, I wonder if Vanessa inspired him to wear it.
That tall man in the white suit was supposed to be a reference to Fisk's comic version, I think. Made me chuckle. The white suit makes Fisk seem like a white knight, and the black shirt underneath is the Kingpin underneath.

I LOVE that they brought in the white suit. All the time you here from comic news sources that some comic book costumes are "too comicbook-ey". I'm glad that Daredevil just grabbed the bull by the horns and showed everyone that Wilson Fisk in a white suit is absolutely terrifying and demands respect. No mockery for the comic book accuracy because they have done this in an amazing way. Very excited for this season.
Aside from his great performance, my God, he just embodies the role. The look, the build, the costume. He is the Kingpin we've seen in the comics brought right off the page.
I was not a huge fan of this series overall, but every episode of season one with Vincent D'Onofiro was outstanding. Extremely smart of them to bring him back and make Kingpin's return a focal point of Season 3. I'm really looking forward to it. Cheers!
the guy that plays kingpin. Played in Law in order. he always had that role of figuring people out and being ahead when he was in law in order. Now he just putting all the years he done Into Dangerous man. I am glad he playing kingpin. He knows how to do role exactly.
I am currently watching old episodes of Law and order: Criminal intent...man oh man, mister Vincent was great in that show. Also his part in the remake of Deathwish, last year was impressive. He was the only great actor in it.
I like how Fisk has so many white tuxedos in his wardrobe. It's probably so he isn't seen with blood stains inpublic, but it remains me of like cartoon moments when a cartoon character has a wardrobe full of dresses that he is always seen wearing and it's all the same dress.

I liked IRON FIST season 2. Hated IRON FIST season 1, JESSICA JONES season 2, and the second half of LUKE CAGE season 1 was terrible, The PUNISHER season 1 was meh, and certain episodes of LUKE CAGE season 2 was good to borderline terrible once again. DAREDEVIL is the only show that has been consistent. DAREDEVIL season 1...was great, DAREDEVIL season 2 was good. Here`s hoping that season 3 will be excellent.

I swear, this incarnation of Wilson Fisk is the most terrifying villain I've ever seen. Only the thought that he knows your identity is shivering enough to cause you cold feet.

This serial is amazing. I am watching and I cannot stop. Thank you Netflix for fantastic staff and outstanding Wilson Bethel who played the Bullseye perfectly. The Bullseye character was played stunningly and I enjoyed every second he appears in the serial. Thank you for creating an amazing villians Kingpin and Bullseye.

He is HANDS DOWN the best Kingpin I’ve ever seen!! As an old school comic fan I feel he has done a tremendously incredible portrayal of the character. I’ve always loved his movies but THIS is the role he was meant to play! I can’t wait to see the upcoming season. I’ll be binging like crazy lol!!

Just something I noticed while rewatching Season 1 of DD - in episode 5 when Vanessa and Fisk are in the restaurant, she mentions being enticed by a tall man in a white suit and an ascot. Now, in season 3 when Wilson Fisk is finally wearing the iconic white suit, I wonder if Vanessa inspired him to wear it.
That tall man in the white suit was supposed to be a reference to Fisk's comic version, I think. Made me chuckle. The white suit makes Fisk seem like a white knight, and the black shirt underneath is the Kingpin underneath.
I’m going to stop watching other shows of marvel on Netflix until you bring back marvel Iron Fist

I LOVE that they brought in the white suit. All the time you here from comic news sources that some comic book costumes are "too comicbook-ey". I'm glad that Daredevil just grabbed the bull by the horns and showed everyone that Wilson Fisk in a white suit is absolutely terrifying and demands respect. No mockery for the comic book accuracy because they have done this in an amazing way. Very excited for this season.
D'Onofrio's Kingpin is definitely one of the best portrayals of a comic book villain ever.

Aside from his great performance, my God, he just embodies the role. The look, the build, the costume. He is the Kingpin we've seen in the comics brought right off the page.
Vincent D'Onofrio plays his character better than almost any other villain in the entire MCU up there with Killmonger and Thanos for sure
I was not a huge fan of this series overall, but every episode of season one with Vincent D'Onofiro was outstanding. Extremely smart of them to bring him back and make Kingpin's return a focal point of Season 3. I'm really looking forward to it. Cheers!

the guy that plays kingpin. Played in Law in order. he always had that role of figuring people out and being ahead when he was in law in order. Now he just putting all the years he done Into Dangerous man. I am glad he playing kingpin. He knows how to do role exactly.
I am currently watching old episodes of Law and order: Criminal intent...man oh man, mister Vincent was great in that show. Also his part in the remake of Deathwish, last year was impressive. He was the only great actor in it.
I like how Fisk has so many white tuxedos in his wardrobe. It's probably so he isn't seen with blood stains inpublic, but it remains me of like cartoon moments when a cartoon character has a wardrobe full of dresses that he is always seen wearing and it's all the same dress.
