Don't lose hope. I failed 12th grade too. I was in Honors English and my teacher was a major ass. So here I was, 17 years old, in summer school, with a baby on the way too!
Well, I've been doing this stuff for about 30 years now. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing but respect and admiration for teachers, especially in public schools. However, many of them don't have a lot of practical, real-world experience.

I would like to use this feature in a different way. I have a set of records in the Excel sheet file, and each record carries a number, date and other information, and I would like to create a Word document with the record number and date only. Can I do this or is there another way, even if it is using a VB Code.

But I have a question, I am creating a databse system for a client, ( this is for academic coursework) I need to know how to create an easy to use interface for the client who wants to be able to send premade mail merge emails to individual customers on access. 1) please can you explain to me how to do this? 2) Can you some how send the email to the recipiant without having to externally go onto outlook or online email systems to send it. So the my client will not have to go out of access to do so please? Thankyou so much in advance! :D really need help!

Hi Robert, Many ail merges won't work correctly (which is my job) because I get a lot of files where data not in the right fields. I have used queries to move data into the correct fields, HOWEVER, it's very time consuming, as the key words I use to target that information is not consistent. I have to convert improper data into proper first. I have no control on the data entry end. Only after the fact. I know how to target key words and fix them safely, but haven't been able to target more than one key word in the same field and standardize them all at once. The quantity of words or partial words is easiliy 250 in one category and another 150 in a different category. I do have these typed up in excel, and have tried building various SQL commands around them to be used in ACCES, but none working beyond one word at a time.

Close and reopen the database to run this wizard".... and thats all I cant run it! Help me please!

Sure. I recommend exporting to Excel first. Make it pretty, then copy that to Word.
