Mike Vernon talks about his work as a record producer. He went into detail about recording the John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers 'Beano' album with Eric Clapton, Chicken Shack and more. He talked about his working relationship with Peter Green and Fleetwood Mac and their eventual leaving his 'Blue Horizon' record label. He mentioned recording the 'Burglar' album with Freddie King and the last Bo Diddley record 'A Man Amongst Men' that had guest appearances from Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood. He also told about about producing the first David Bowie album.

He is the radio host of 'A Night of the Blues' in the UK. He has recently been nominated for a UK Blues Award for radio and he interviews musicians from around the globe. He is also a music journalist for Blues in Britain, RnR Magazine, UK Rock n Roll Magazine, Powerplay Magazine and the UK Harmonica League.
In his own music career, he reached No#1 on the iTunes Blues Singles Chart with his own compositions 'Hope And Magazines' and '(You're A) Picture On A Wall'. He has been heard on the BBC radio. He has been on ITV's 'The Royal Variety Performance', CBS' 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson' and Reelz 'The Last Hours of...'. He regularly performs live at music festivals in stadiums, arenas, theatres and nightclub gigs.
