J P, We All are looking at a EPA Phase out of older trucks and glider trucks with pre-emission motors by 2035. Some U.S. states are looking at 2030-32. When the Electric/Battery powered trucks superseded Diesel Powered trucks, I've come to the conclusion that I WILL SELL MY FLEET OF TRUCKS AND GET OUT OF THE TRUCKING INDUSTRY TOTALLY........ It's like kicking a dead horse all over again.
What are you getting for mileage? I'm looking at a 2020 4900sb star day cab with a 6nz in it. The want 195k for it 🤪🤣. I can't imagine paying that premium and getting poor fuel mileage to boot. If I knew I could get mid to high sixs I'd consider it
@@MrWisdom79 I'm getting around 6 miles per gallon with it turned up and no restrictions and running heavy and local short runs and a lot of stop and start with a 10-speed Eaton Fuller and 390 gears the Driveline had a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty even with it turned up and no restrictions
This one was $126,500 with the extended cab dual Chrome breathers polished Wheels 100 gallon tanks dual exhaust leather seats power windows and door locks Bluetooth AM FM CD player Goodyear RSA tires and heavy Center frame-mounted Towing point in front bumper and it came from D&B trucks in Glasgow Kentucky

Glider is the best way to go I have 489000 + on my 2015 t800 550 6NZ and it has never been behind a wrecker and has been very reliable

You need to do a valve adjustment on it whoever did that didn't do it right those cats don't clatter like that
I agree it might sound just ever so slightly off but not much. A couple intake valves may be out a cple thousandths
