Love this video, friend!! ❤ I try to buy bigger expenses out right too. I hate the idea of being locked into a situation like a car payment etc because what if you lose your income quickly? It just seems more wise not to accumulate debt in these times. You have taught me so much to save money and be more frugal. Love you friend. I know this video will be a light to many.

Me and my husband live on one income as well and it definitely takes planning, but it is so worth it to be able to be a homemaker! I struggle as well with wanting to buy, buy, buy, and I have to remind myself that I don't have to have everything right now. LOVED this video!

I love this video for so many reasons. You truly are encouraging to the ladies of today. I know a lot goes into planning your daily meals and homemaking. I'm proud of the wife and mother you are. I don't think I can remember a time when you complained about your lot in life. You truly are content with being a wife and mother. It's wild how much our mindset changes when we have kids! I was the same as you wanting to work outside the home and all of that changing when I had Noelle! Such a blessing to be able to do so in this day and age ❤

We are the same! Those are good tips and things people don’t even think about like buying things outright is so helpful! That’s the thing, people who may look like they have all the things but are drowning in debt, it doesn’t even mean there necessary making money. It’ll catch up to them most likely and what you’ve learned to do and be content without is a valuable lesson and skill. Many have had mental break downs because they learned to rely on there money and materials for happiness and contentment and when that went away.. it’s a rude awakening! Your family is ahead of the game if you will! Great video sis! It’s not easy for sure !
Thank you, Sis!!! 🩷🩷 I totally agree. The grass always looks greener on the other side, but you can't see everything. That is a very good point. Just because they look like they are well off, you don't always know the whole story. Very great points. I've heard stories of people around Christmas time having breakdowns because they go into debt to buy gifts and then can't pay it off. It is so sad and it stinks how much society pushes buying all the things all the time to be happy. 🙈 No one really talks about the simple things in life anymore.

I’m new to your channel ….. I agree with you about contentment! It’s really hard like you say with social media and the like with making you feel bad about not having everything or having a huge remodeled house. But I do find comfort in knowing I have savings and bills are paid even though my house is far from Pinterest worthy. I guess that’s where contentment and gratefulness come in! I will be working hard to cultivate those qualities in myself!😊 great video! So relaxing. Thank you for sharing! ❤

Always have done. I am a sahm for 7 years now, before that I worked 2 days in the week. It was a BIG leap of faith to quit my job but the Lord has always provided. Now my husband has his own business and so we have more to spend..
Car payments and creditcard debts are not so common here but some people do have them. Typical dutch people are frugal anyways..
As a family we always buy second hand, going out to dinner happens maybe once a month or even two months. Buying sales are also very much my thing. It is a lifestyle..
But what you said about being content is very important. Some relatives of ours can buy everything they want, go on extravagant holidays ( and come back complaining about it ) and live a very rich life. Sometimes it stings a little but I know this is the life the Lord has for us. And we are very thankful and blessed..

Thank you for this! We are a one income family in NY that homeschool our 2 boys. We have to be careful with our income, I'm constantly studying how to be more frugal and content to stretch our dollars and to bless our home❤

I always hate going more and more into debt just when we dig a hole in it and see it go down. It has been a constant struggle for years and years. At first I didn’t even want a credit card in the beginning because I had heard so many stories about being stuck with credit card bills. I still believe that one day we will finally be 100% debt free!
You can do it! 🩷🩷 Yes, I know it can be so hard, and I have also heard those same stories. Debt sucks and credit cards make it so easy to slip into that hole. I know so many people who are in credit card debt, and I hate it for them. 🙈 But I also have heard of people who have gotten out of it, and their stories are very inspiring. So I know you will get there. 🥰🥰

I’m living way below poverty and am trying to figure it all out.
It feels so overwhelming trying to figure it all out. I know that my biggest struggle would be my grocery budget. 🙈🙈 I am going to start talking way more about this. Not that I have all the answers! But hopefully we can all learn from each other. 🩷
