Are there any formal courses in using Balsamiq sponsored by the company? I find it a very useful program, but as a non-technical person, it's hard to use. I was using the program well enough a few months ago; after a break, I started using it again and the screen options now look and behave quite a bit differently. I find it hard to import images (for instance, a saved screenshot) into the work area; I find it very hard to manipulate objects, resize them, and get them to do exactly what I want.
it's informative Thanks for uploading..... can you please tell how I can put a search box on my website.that prototype need what condition i can apply.
What are some of the best practices that Balsamiq recommends for managing projects. In many examples main grids are built out, but how would you manage subsequent panels for software UI development within Balsamiq? Are there any unique features or shortcuts that easily manage moving around in the software mock ups?
Hi Victoria, If I understand you correctly, you're asking about designing multiple screens that use common templates (which is typical for most web applications) and how to avoid redundant effort creating the parts of the screen that stay mostly the same from one page to another. Is that correct? If so, I recommend creating the templates for the various screen patterns as Symbols (docs.balsamiq.com/desktop/symbols/), which you can re-use as starting points for subsequent screens. See the link above or this video - ruclips.net/video/VZKl26d4Np0/видео.html - for an overview. And, as always, we're available at support@balsamiq.com for more detailed answers. Hope this helps, - Leon

Good intro but then when he actually starts demoing the product, sped up 4x so can't possibly follow along or process how to learn balsamic,
Also, you can slow down the video by up to 0.25 (back to original speed in this case), in the gear icon menu.
NiceVideos!
