Michel Hieu Most of time wireframe refer to low detail or low res sketch of the general design that contain some details of the overal idea but mockup refer to a complete design of an UI / UX that might be goes to the final project and in short way mockup is the final looks of an UI / UX

@katrewhim prototype has more to do with functionality of application/software.
BIG difference, many people connect it together and they think it's similar, and that idea is growing wrong way. Wireframing it's your thought about functionality, the example you have a page and what this page should have the picture, button, input place, chat.contact, rollover, login, paswords...after You click on it whats happen next this is the BRAIN . Mockup it's DESIGN related on that wireframing !
A mock up is more of the visual representation of the product. It is usually between wireframe and prototype in terms of fidelity. Mid level fidelity. It shows more of the visual aspect of the design, while prototypes shows more of the actual functionality of a product.

I've tried several tools for UX design, my favorite for building wireframe for apps is Mockingbot, but I'm still not satisfied with tools for web, I want the pages to interact with each other, any recommendations?
+Ha Ran Jung Omnigraffle lets you create prototypes with links between pages. Also Balsamiq and the new Adobe XD...

Adobe xd is free to use and it's really good.
