Thank you, this gave me the confidence to try it on my own 2010 A4 B8 Avant. One thing I did differently was to use Trim Tools to start lifting the main body away and pop the first clip; I did bottom-left first. After that you have something to pull on.
Very well explained. I've particularly liked the teardown steps. Too bad nobody did a teardown for the Audi A4 B9 (2016 - 2018) model. The OE part is: 8V0-862-153 or 8V0862153A
@@BestCarMods Based on your video I did managed to change this actuator, which was full of moisture... The car was a Audi A4 B9 2017. The price for a new OE part was about 22 EUR, here in Romania.
Not joking, but was very easy to remove with crowbar from the middle (using fuel tank hole as support) with moderate force. Popped right off, no screwdriver marks or any bending. These screwdriver holes did not help me, only those scratches would have looked bad later. Ordered new part with code "16SKV405" ~18eur from local dealer only. Audi A4 2012.
I don't remember seeing a 2008 a5 with oem led taillights. also the part number that you have is for a standard bulb taillight ... go on FB and send me a message with pictures of what is not working.

I lost my foil cap on my audi a4 and I put a wrong one until my cap comes and nownits lock. What can I do help

depends how it broke ... maybe use a type of Glue to improvise something... you reminded me that I want to do a video on my favourite glue :)
