Hello I got a jeep compass limited 2014 and experiencing the oil light flashing after oil change performed. i have tried both pressing/ without pressing the break while depress the accelerator 3 times, but the change oil light is still there. any advice what I should do further ? many thanks guys
I know ur comment/ question was 3 yrs ago, but did u ever figure it out? If not, ur flashing oil light has nothing to do with resetting the light for ur oil life or anything to do with the oil maintenance. When it flashes it is an actual fault in the system. Usually low oil pressure. But still wouldn't be caused by low oil or anything like that. P.S.-its "brake" not "break" lol
We tried this after the last time we changed my oil, and it didn't work... months down the road....like 3 or 4.. I try it again today and NOW it works🤦♀️

Hi Jennifer! I have the same problem! 2007 compass, the oil light will flicker and with make a noise while it flickers... and it flickers constantly! I've had and an oil change and frequently check my levels... were you able to fix this problem?
@@kylebattell9523 Yes! We took the Jeep to a mechanic, apparently the sensor was disconnecting. The way the mechanic described it, the sensor was "bouncing" in and out of connection as I drove. That's why it would flicker. It was also a problem that was causing a small leak as well. That particular problem was actually a pretty cheap fix! I can't remember the price of that particular issue (we took the car in because my breaks were shot), but I do remember it was a cheap fix, and I have not had problems with it since! Sorry I know this is a poor description! I hope it helps.

Hi I have a 2010 manual jeep compass my horn don't work I there a fuse under the hood if so witch one would it be
Check the owners manual, it should list a fuse for the horn. If the fuse is fine the horn may be bad or even a bad connection at the steering wheel.

I have a 2007 Jeep Compass Limited and the little oil can light comes on every time I'm sitting at a stop and makes a sound when the light comes on.
