I called the customer care, lodged my complaint against battery discharge while connected to the 170w adaptor, the customer care personnel was skilled and handled the situation in a good manner, the charger got replaced after 2 days, happy with the service
Hi bro could you please provide complaint number or serial number of you laptop. I contacted and said that this draining issue was solved by providing 230w charger for one of my friends, which is a lie, i saw multiple video and made up the story. Now they are asking for his complaint number or serial number to cross check or else they will not help. Please help or I'll have to suffer with this 170w charger.

@@John-1234 they gave me one solution but it reduced my performance a bit. They Guided me to Bios setting (pressing f2 while booting) then asked me to go to more settings, then configuration, then asked me to find something called battery protection and turn it on(by default it was turned off). What it does that it will restrict any battery usage while plugged in. So no battery drain there but it will reduce the performance.

I did think there was such a feature to disable battery drain at the cost of performance, never thought that Lenovo would recommend that instead of replacing the charger.I guess I got lucky with the replacement and lodged the complainant during a time window where Lenovo was just replacing the chargers of those who asked for it
Quick tip: when on the call, tell them that you have already updated to the latest bios version, they just took access, generated a diagnostic report and just asked to install Rescue lens on phone Didn't tell me to do anything at all, no screen recording nothing.

bhai they took access to my system checked the battery condition said it was good and told me to calibrate my battery with a some steps to drain battery in bios mode which was quite a hassle and when a asked them to replace my charger they refused to change it

Push it to limits so that we can know whether motherboard can withstand or not bhaiya.
I have done alot of testing, but didn't experienced any mobo issues.

all three are newer released laptop models, if you want a safe bet, u should choose asus tuf , legion , or hp victus
