Funny. This has elements that would eventually be in MH: World. Running away from monster by sliding through forest, monster coming in to attack the other monster, the vegetation of it all. Its so cool how it's evolved into the cinematic.
I mean these are things that just couldnt exist because of the limitations. i feel like monster hunter was always meant to be like it is in World, when it comes to the environment and monster behaviour. so while it couldnt happen its something that always has been in the minds of the developers and players since the first game. your mind simply filled the gaps.
I read it somewhere on the internet that there was this interview with the MHW game director that the MHW development team watched the cinematics of the previous MH games and built MHW to function similar what you saw on the cinematics.
Two years later and now World (and iceborne) has come to a satisfying end. I'm not gonna lie the fatalis fight was amazing. from the music to the fight itself. it gave me memories of when i fought gogmazios in 4u, especially when proof of a hero started playing. Iceborne is the most refined monster hunter game, but 4U will always be the perfect one for me.
This got me into the franchise. Also taught me to fear Lightning Monke from Hell via *trying* to grind that version of the Zelda DLC quest (High Rank Zinogre, clapped and memorized; High Rank Kirin, clapped; High Rank Rajang...I don't wanna talk about it) Monster Hunter is by far my favorite franchise, and 4U started it. God I wish I had a DS/3DS to replay it.

first mh game i ever played and i fell in love
El mejor opening que he visto siendo mi primer juego de Monster Hunter❤
I freaking love these animations.
I actually thought that this was a idea message that Monster Hunter X was coming to the west, lol
*secret*

Top 5 Best 3D efect on 3DS 🎉
Thought I was going crazy when I heard this during the Olympics.
Oh good gob my original hunter is 7 years old now I feel as old as his great Immenseness 😅
I love how the hunters don't even hesitate when the big scary unknown monster shows up, they just jump in and do what they do best
Who's here because Sunbreak?
this was my starting point in the series and havent looked back since
Damn it. Those ninjas are cutting onions again.
Thank God I started the series with this game! This is the GOAT!
What ever happened to the hunters in this opening, I remember the game said a line about them but I can't remember it
Kyle Yuen They lost.
You gotta go finish the entire game in 4U to find out.
This got me into the franchise. Also taught me to fear Lightning Monke from Hell via *trying* to grind that version of the Zelda DLC quest (High Rank Zinogre, clapped and memorized; High Rank Kirin, clapped; High Rank Rajang...I don't wanna talk about it)
Monster Hunter is by far my favorite franchise, and 4U started it. God I wish I had a DS/3DS to replay it.
Gore boy is back in rise !!!!!!!
Ah, the best game in the franchise. Boy do I miss it
*Hmm, what is this? "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate". Never heard of... Oh well, let's give it a try.*
The best decision of my life was picking that game from the shelf and say "I'll buy it"
Best game in the franchise. Remaster for switch please.
