I am a man. Bald and greying beard. I turned 40 yesterday. I used to dye my hair but Nov 1st, I decided to go gray with my beard. It feels amazing. I feel much better with my personality now. Another thing is we get too much attached to our self what we love like black hair and beard. but with time things change naturally. So how that attachment remains and because of that it becomes hard to let go of old self. Indeed we are always amazing beings at every stage of life. It just needs acceptance from ourself first. once we do it, every event is in our favor. All the best to those, who want to look what they are! You all rock. 🤜🤛
I recently cut my hair off- pixie cut short so I can reveal my gray. This year while caring for my dying grandmother something switched in my heart. I'm 36 (been covering gray for a decade now) and I said no - I'm not hiding anymore! I earned this crown of wisdom!
Wow that is so true and I love how you worded it Shannon. It really is a crown and you should wear it with pride! I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother, and I hope you and your family are at peace 💜
I cried with you, and felt your emotion deeply. This is about so much more than hair dye, superficiality, and insecurity. It is about women stepping into their full power and not being bullied by what society dictates, but dictating to society what we want by who we are. We will no longer conform to please others at our own expense. We are setting the rules now. Our hair is our crown, and we are celebrating our independence and individuality. THIS symbolizes no more female oppression via objectification, and the rising of the divine feminine in all of our beautiful, natural, authentic glory. We are using our crowns to take our crowns back, and it is absolutely DELICIOUS. I am on week 7 of going natural with my hair color. Back in Februaray 2020, I embraced my curls for the first time in my 52 years of life. I did a big chop of 14 inches, and HOLY MOLEEEEE, what freedom that brought. I can only imagine what no more hair poison will do for me, and my happy brain, ha
Wow....2 years? You have way more patience than me. I decided to let my hair grow out for two months and then cut it short to 2 inches all over. Instant grey transformation. I loved doing it that way. I realize it's now for everyone and some people need that slow submerging into grey. I have to say that your final cut is lovely.
I have long, long hair. My hair is in good health though and people don't want me to chop it. I started letting my natural gray start growing out a couple of years ago when I divorced. I am ready to go shorter and chop off the rest of the dyed hair....the old me....the last remnants of my old life and when I was married. Some people don't get it but I don't care. My natural hair growing in is so soft and I love watching the transformation and the subtle shifts in color and your hair looks great. You have a beautiful color.
This. Our hair, like any part of our body, preserves memory. That's why we feel so good, so light after a haircut. We get rid of some "baggage", energetically speaking. I have the same issue. Last year I went through a breakup, and I recall him complimenting my hair. My hair was dyed, and since then I've cut my hair many times, once very short, just like a boy, because I wanted to go gray. I need one more chop before I get rid of all dye. My next appointment to the hairdresser is this autumn. I can't wait for it, I want start over.
You look beautiful. I'm 43 and just started my grow out 3 months ago. It's so hard since my dyed hair was almost black and my hair growing in is almost 100% white. But I'm so done dyeing it and committed
@@pruzzilla3771 I asked my hairstylist about dyeing the dark hair gray. She didn't recommend, said chemicals too harsh. I want to dye it gray but don't want hair to fall out or get weak.
@@Godisfirst21 hi! I'm still at it! I still have several inches of dark that need to be cut off. I am just trying to get it to grow enough to be a short bob and then snip off the rest. :) it is freeing not worrying about hair dye. Thanks for asking ♡
You AND your hair are stunning. Thanks for making this video-I'm just a few months in on this journey of being my real self. Have dyed my hair for 37 years (I am 57) and am not getting support from my girlfriends. They think I'm crazy...but I don't care. New subscriber! ❤️
SO inspiring. Plus the wonderful comments. I don't feel alone. I'm almost 77 yrs old, and have very little gray, and my very dark natural color (I think) is not flattering. Thank you so much. I needed your video. After 43 years of having long black hair, yesterday I put it in a ponytail and cut it all off. Never in my life did I think I would have short hair. I’m in metro NY and after being in quarantine, I have close to 2 months of grey root growth and I’m deciding to commit to growing it out. It’s hard to explain as to others it’s a “hairstyle” but to me it’s so much more about identity. That if I’m natural I’m not young. Your understanding of this has moved me…and I’m forever grateful. 🌻
👍 I stopped coloring my hair 2 years ago and haven't missed it...none of the process. Very liberating and empowering. I get more compliments now than I ever did my whole life with dark hair and then color treated hair. Congratulations!
Two years! You’re so patient! 4 months in I had a friend buzz it and I love it! I feel the same way you described feeling, transformed. You look great!
There you are! I saw a video of yours several months ago that actually made me cry. This video is also emotional. And yes, you look so beautiful, you are beautiful. I have a long way to go (just 6 months into my journey) but I already feel great and happy and peaceful. I don't care anymore what people may think or say. More videos please
It is transformative. We discover our true inner selves ... I'm only 16 weeks in. I can't wait but don't want to rush through either (at 63 yrs of age... every day is special and a gift... ) God bless you for sharing this!
I'm 48 and I also feel more beautiful than ever before. It was so moving to watch you OWN your age like a bad ass. I've been bleaching my hair since 11 years old and I have no idea what colour it is. I did my final dye just before xmas. It's like watching grass grow. I'm excited and I don't want to miss out on any part of aging. I love all of it.
YOU. LOOK. BEAUTIFUL!!! You almost made me cry when you were talking about the internal changes of letting go of the dye. I totally get it,. I' felt the same way when I decided to stop dying. Best decision!
7 months since your comment...Did you do it? I'm just shy of 65 and let my gray come in. I cropped it short, I'm all natural now and I LOVE it. Yes, a bit shorter than I like but it's growing. I just started growing my hair out gray and am inspired by videos like yours. You reveal a lot about yourself in the most tender of ways. Thank you for sharing your experience.
as you were speaking in the beginning , I actually could feel along with you the emotion and deep feelings that you were feeling in my deepest of soul. I am on this same journey, and I can relate to your statement on feeling the most beautiful you have ever been now. If someone told me I would feel that way, I would think they were crazy. But being your ( my) authentic self, is so freeing and a way of me living honestly . 😌 I enjoyed your video, and thank you for being one of my silver sisters..
Thank you for watching! I'm so happy you enjoyed the video and found something meaningful in it. I love to share my experiences and hear about other similar ones from readers and viewers. We are a community and we are here to support each other! Keep going stong, keep the confidence, and enjoy your gray! xx
Hi Lisa gorgeous !!! I stopped coloring a few years ago , now I have a pixie with silver and dark brown . It is so wonderful to be free of coloring so empowering !
Isnt it interesting that for us women its such a struggle to accept the ageing process. I think going grey probably is the most obvious symbol of that process and thats why we resist the evidence so much. On the other hand men seem to get the prestige and respect from ageing and grey hair can make them seem wiser etc. So if we accept that process then we are really saying that we are older and wiser and we also deserve the same step up of recognition!
I’m tired of people saying you “always” look older with grey hair. Mine is salt and pepper but I enjoy that I is mine-me!! It’s ok. Kind of like the little extra fluff and a few wrinkles. I’m 73!! It’s ok to be me!
Love your hair--beautiful lipstick too! You look awesome. I'm four months in, with long hair--yes a waiting game full of moments of reimagining ourselves.
I too took the plunge going grey and it was the best thing I did. It has been 3 yrs now and I think to myself why did I bother colouring my hair when I have such beautiful healthy grey hair. Good on you for taking this liberating path
Congrats Girl!!!! You made it and your natural hair looks FABULOUS! I'm a year and 2 weeks, dye free... with another year to go. SMOOTH SAILING here too. I'm loving it! Thanks for sharing your journey with all of us.
It looks so beautiful. It is definitely an inward transformation. I am 16 mos in and feel so true to who I am. I’m excited to get there. You are precious. Congratulations 👏🏻👏🏻💞💐
Thank you for showing a video of your hair, most other videos out there with women growing out their hair are very light and you clearly have some dark still in there, which is what I want to see! I started growing out mine a few months ago but I still have a lot of dark hair still in there so I've been looking for videos of people with more the salt and pepper look. It really suits you by the way! You look fab.
I feel like you in so many ways. Letting myself go. Unkept. Can’t wait for it to get better. Congratulations!! And I love that you said you just have to start!
Yaye we got this!! Just last Sunday I decided to wear hat because I decided not to dye my hair anymore 😅 I'll wait the gray hair reach till shoulder and I'm gonna cut my hair like that!! It's beautiful!! I love it🤩
Hell yeah! I started growing out my greys two years ago (at age 31) - and I love it! You're so right about it being a very internally transformational thing too, and not just and aesthetic one. Now that I went through all that trouble growing it out- it's so liberating now!
Looks so natural and pretty! I can't wait until my hair grows out. Since my hair reaches my lower back and I don't want to cut it I'm sure it's more of a marathon than a sprint for me!
Congratulations on reaching your goal. NO MORE DYED HAIR. I’m sixteen months in and have at least till the end of the year before I’m done. I like your hair cut. It’s the same as mine. 😊
Thank you for being brave & sharing your empowering story! I'd been waffling the last few months to try & decide if I could overcome what had become a societal view of women needing to fight their natural graying hair through chemical processing. One of my grandmother's had naturally dark brown hair that remained naturally dark at the nap of her neck with the rest of it beautiful shades of grey & silver strands. I've asked my stylist, who uses natural products, to incorporate some dark lowlights while I begin this process. I'm looking forward to a more natural authentic me! Thanks again❣ 😊🌺👩🦳🌸🦋
Just found you! I stopped colouring my hair when we went into lockdown. I have been dying my hair since I went grey when I was 23 -nearly 30 years ago - and have wanted to stop for some years. I had 3 boxes of colour on standby -and still have- but it’s been 5 months and I’m still going strong. Sometimes I hate it but I’m sticking with it for now and am kind of loving it!
Going gray is a process, a journey, an acceptance of one's self, loving who you are, as you are. 💗 Love your hair cut! I'm only 6 months in but I am committed to the process!
@@thenew_knew Now 9 months in. 🙂 My grays are growing in very weirdly. Almost all of the gray is centered on top of my head - towards the back. I have next to none growing on my sides, or around my face and very little in the back of my head. Fortunately with having very curly hair, it all blends.
You look amazing, I LOVE that cut! Your salt and pepper is like natural highlights. I'm at 8 months, growing out pure white roots against black dye. I'm 47 and have long layers that just reaches my bra strap.
Aww, funny to get a notification and reread this a couple of years later. I now have long silvery white hair and happy to be free of the root touch ups every 2 weeks. 🙂
beautiful!!! I just hit my 6 month mark in the process i’m just starting to see my hair pattern and God is a better colorist than i ever was because i love it. I can’t wait a year from now to see my end result with no dye on my hair thank you for sharing this video
Your hair looks amazing!! I started cold turkey letting my beauty crown show , been like since the 28th of March 2022. Its been a journey. But, Im ready, still going through all phases, challenges, looks, ect... Thanks for your support as well. May God keep Blessing U through your journey..
Fabulous 😍 I'm over my one year mark... It's not been easy, it's not for the weak of heart! But I'm still very happy I started the journey and can't wait to 100% me! Just a little longer 😍
Great video, thank you. You're right - it is more than a physical change. It is an internal adjustment - one of self-perception. I think it will take me 2 years to grow it all out and adjust ( am in 5th month) x love your whole "look", including your "owning it" attitude x
Congratulations on your persistence and confidence to completely transition to your natural grey hair. It looks so beautiful. I am also following your footsteps 😊🙌👏
People pay big bucks for that look!!! Looks amazing! I have started noticing other ladies growing or grown out theirs and complimenting them! They are always so appreciative. I'm about 4 months in and just started wearing it pulked back with combs to help hide the skunk look. Pretty much gray back to where ponytail starts. Also doing some toppers and wigs. Just got a Sandy Silver Gia wig that I love the pixie look and the silver in front/S&P in the back. Just having fun with the process! You are a great inspiration for the look!!!
Wow it looks so wonderful. I'm so happy for you. 💚💜💙💛 I'm just starting my journey & need all the inspiration I can find so please keep making videos. Especially about the hair products you like.
I have started the journey to go gray. I have been seven or eight months without dying my hair I'm going to be 68 in 2 weeks and I decided back in may after 2 weeks my hair was already a half an inch grown out Gray. I said for a while I wanted not to color my hair anymore just because I wanted the gray, not because I was tired of coloring my hair. I just said I want to do it gracefully. My hair is long and I definitely need to cut it and I want to go at least shoulder length. I don't look good in short short hair plus I'm growing out bangs and they're past my nose almost to my chin. I've noticed that my hair has gotten very thin too so wish me luck....I love yours by the way and I loved your message it really made my heart feel good. I also have two members of my family that don't want me to do it my sister and my daughter both saying it's going to make me look old well I'm 68 it's time that I look 68 doesn't mean Im going to look bad. When my hair is pulled back off my face the whole front and top is totally gray and my other daughter said ma you look beautiful so if all of it's the same color I'm sure it will look great!!!! Thank you very much again!!! Hugs D🙏☺️
Thank you so much for sharing! I love your enthusiasm and confidence already. I'd love to hear how it's going so far - so happy for you and I hope your daughters are super proud of their mom! Happy grow out! xx
I'm 59 and started getting gray in my early 30s....like noticeably. My paternal grandmother was totally gray by the time she was 40. I've had my hair from super short, shaved in back to long enough to sit on and always dyed it a dark shade, either matching my natural dark brown, or dark burgundy, and at one point soft black. Before the pandemic I had an asymmetrical pixie, shaved in back, cut around my ear on the left side and very short, with the right side longer, longest in front, and dyed burgundy. Because I couldn't get it cut for months the style grew out, but I continued coloring it. By the time I could get it cut I just started trimming and letting it grow out. This past week it was to the middle of my shoulder blades in back and I had a good inch of roots and decided I was sick of the constant dying. I had heavy all over highlights put into the dyed part, leaving the roots alone, and 5 inches chopped off and heavily layered in back. The roots were left alone. The color lifted easily since the dye was mostly just stepped from gray hair. So I'll just let it grow out and she'll just lighten up the dyed hair more and more to get it to blend with the growout, and continue trimming the bottom. I am excited and looking forward to the day that it'll just all be my natural hair. I think it's a bigger adjustment for darker haired people because the gray being so much lighter looks so different with our skin than our naturally dark hair contrasting with our skin. My mom was a natural light blond and had platinum type gray and you really couldn't tell when she went gray, the transition was seamless. I'm finally ready to just be done with being a slave to coloring. I think it'll be very freeing. Fortunately my hair grows very fast, nearly an inch a month. So in about a year with continued trimming it'll be grown out. I may decide to do highlights, just to have fun with it now and then but I won't need to worry about having super obvious roots every few weeks. It already looks so much healthier and shiny with the dramatic chopping. I'm still getting used to having lighter hair framing my face.
Yes, exactly this! I have a blog post about makeup tips for gray hair - it really is a big transition to go from dark hair framing your face to a much lighter (gray/silver/white) color. Good luck with your continued grow out!
I am here because today is the day i am no longer coloring. I USED to be silver, completely natural, back in 2018. I buzzed off all my hair at the time after a catastrophic coloring experience and watched it grow for the first time, all white and silver. I was so happy, i felt confident, until i got depressed after a big loss. Then someone suggested to me that i should perhaps color my hair again and that it would cheer me up. Then, that's what happened, i colored it dark brown. It did make me happy for a while but i am so tired now of the coloring dictatorship and i wanna go back at my natural self. I had my hair cut today ( neck length bob) because they were too long for this transition. I know it's gonna be hard because it's summertime..I should have used the pandemic to do it in the winter but i wasn't ready. I'm gonna look like a skunk soon and people are gonna stare, but i'm gonna hold on. I'm gonna wear a pretty summer hat or a scarf at times perhaps to ease things off but i truly wanna go back to my silver. It was so easy last time cause they were buzzed off so no big white roots contrasting black hair. Your smile of content and your emotion about how you have grown from this touched me. I wanna be free from this pressure too, but i'm just scared because i'm such a perfectionist...and a bit obsessive.
Yes! Covering the grays does become like a ball and chain! I am only 6 months in but there is no turning back for me. I also at the same time embraced my naturally curly hair for the first time in my life! I am 61 (almost 62). It's about time too. I am finally learning to love ME for who I am and will hold my head high. 😀
Thank you for sharing... there are so many underlying connotations to our hair and it's easy to connect your happiness with your appearance sometimes. I understand why you'd go back to coloring your hair - and there's nothing wrong with that! I hope your transition is going well and you're enjoying the silver again. xo, Lisa
hi, i have been bleaching my hair for almost 5 years. Going blonde has made my hair thin out. I want to now just go grey and let it come in. I am going to try to tuff it out and just let the roots come in brownish grey for the next year or more. I am in my mid 60s and I want to have natural hair now. Thank you for your nice inspirational video. You look great!
Congratulations!!! OMG I am so happy for you! I am half way there, I am 12 months in, next April 2020 I will reach the 2 years mark also. I can't wait! Until then, I will keep wearing my hair in a ponytail until my first haircut with full gray hair. I am very happy of my decision to go gray so far, I like the different tones of gray and black (salt and pepper) just as yours. Patience is the key. Thank you for sharing your journey. It supports us all.
Patience is they key but you've totally got this girl! Once you hit the 9-12 month mark it starts to look intentional and makes it a lot easier. You are golden now! xo!
Great cut and your silvers are fabulous! 😍 I'm 8 months in and contemplating whether I want to cut to a bob or just letting it gradually grow with only regular trims for maintenance... 🤔
I'm debating how to transition as well. It's 3 months now and I have 1 3/4" silver growing in which I love but I can't decide what to do next. My brown hair is mid shoulder blade length now . I'm not normally patient so It would be a struggle to wait through the awkward stage ;but I also don't want a buzz cut. Decisions! Decisions ! LOL Has anyone tried low lights?
Silver/grey/white hair shouldn't be synonymous with "old", so many of us get it in our 20s...we're timeless. You look so chic! 💛💛💛

I'm also 63 and just woke up 3 mths ago, and said today is the day, no more dye. I'm am really enjoying the sense of freedom. I'm looking silver. My hair is down to my waist , and I don't want to cut it all off. Will see. Good luck on your journey.

Beautiful natural gray and the cut was perfect too. ✂️
Thank you!
Congrats and your hair is beautiful, I'm 7 months dye free, mine is grey on top but white in the front and temples
I chopped off 3 inches today. But I have a way to go and can’t wait. I am 4 months in and loving how it’s looking. You look fabulous!!!!!
I just started growing my hair out gray and am inspired by videos like yours. You reveal a lot about yourself in the most tender of ways. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Thanks for watching Tricia!
I appreciate your kind words and I'm happy to share my experiences to help other people enjoy their natural hair too xx
Can’t wait for the near future when going grey is acceptable to all. Thank you for being part of that journey. What a feeling!
YES! Agreed!
as you were speaking in the beginning , I actually could feel along with you the emotion and deep feelings that you were feeling in my deepest of soul.
I am on this same journey, and I can relate to your statement on feeling the most beautiful you have ever been now. If someone told me I would feel that way, I would think they were crazy. But being your ( my) authentic self, is so freeing and a way of me living honestly . 😌
I enjoyed your video, and thank you for being one of my silver sisters..
You can say that again! xo
And we still are beautiful!!!
Totally!
It’s a revolution ..! Why should men have it so much easier
I’m tired of people saying you “always” look older with grey hair. Mine is salt and pepper but I enjoy that I is mine-me!! It’s ok. Kind of like the little extra fluff and a few wrinkles. I’m 73!! It’s ok to be me!
You look fabulous. You inspire so many of us who are transitioning
Thanks Cora! That's my goal. I want women to feel like they have a CHOICE!
I’m nine months in. Love your “new” cut!
Love your hair--beautiful lipstick too! You look awesome. I'm four months in, with long hair--yes a waiting game full of moments of reimagining ourselves.
Thank you! I hopy you're enjoying your gray!
I too took the plunge going grey and it was the best thing I did. It has been 3 yrs now and I think to myself why did I bother colouring my hair when I have such beautiful healthy grey hair. Good on you for taking this liberating path
Thank you for sharing your journey. I’m two months in and need the encouragement hour videos share!!!!
Congrats Girl!!!! You made it and your natural hair looks FABULOUS! I'm a year and 2 weeks, dye free... with another year to go. SMOOTH SAILING here too. I'm loving it! Thanks for sharing your journey with all of us.
Yes! Smooth sailing from here sister! xo
You look absolutely stunning with the natural color that God has given you. How liberating and empowered and authentic you must feel. Bravo!
It looks so beautiful. It is definitely an inward transformation. I am 16 mos in and feel so true to who I am. I’m excited to get there. You are precious. Congratulations 👏🏻👏🏻💞💐
Thank you!
I hope you're enjoying your grow out and still going strong Xx
Looks so good your natural streaks are so nice!
Thank you so much!
I love it! I'm on this journey for the "2nd" time but I'm ready now to do this and just embrace it, thank you for sharing, you look amazing
Love it! It will be 2 years for me in November. Looking forward to the day I cut off all the dye. Thank you for sharing. 😘
That will be a great day INDEED! Enjoy it friend!
I made the decision yesterday !!!
Thanks for sharing xxx

Thank you for showing a video of your hair, most other videos out there with women growing out their hair are very light and you clearly have some dark still in there, which is what I want to see! I started growing out mine a few months ago but I still have a lot of dark hair still in there so I've been looking for videos of people with more the salt and pepper look. It really suits you by the way! You look fab.
Thank you Kate :)
Yes I love the salt and pepper too - and some day it will probably mostly be salt! Hope you're enjoying your natural hair xx
You look truly happy and fabulous.
I feel like you in so many ways. Letting myself go. Unkept. Can’t wait for it to get better. Congratulations!! And I love that you said you just have to start!
Yaye we got this!! Just last Sunday I decided to wear hat because I decided not to dye my hair anymore 😅
I'll wait the gray hair reach till shoulder and I'm gonna cut my hair like that!! It's beautiful!! I love it🤩
Awwe you almost made me cry .You look amazing. I am also going grey, growing my hair out the 3 months now. 😁
Hell yeah!
I started growing out my greys two years ago (at age 31) - and I love it!
You're so right about it being a very internally transformational thing too, and not just and aesthetic one. Now that I went through all that trouble growing it out- it's so liberating now!
Congratulations!! Glad you're loving it so far - keep that awesome confidence going!
So very proud of you. You are an inspiration to me as I start my going gray journey!
You look amazing and your confidence shines through. Well done.
Thanks so much Kim!
Enjoy your going gray transition! I hope it's going really well
I understand and appreciate the emotional aspect to this process. It has required a lot of fortitude and patience. Congratulations. I’m 8 months in.
I'm cheering you on!
Almost 18 months into my silver journey now..had 2 major cuts already but still have a bit of colour left. You look fantastic!
Looks so natural and pretty! I can't wait until my hair grows out. Since my hair reaches my lower back and I don't want to cut it I'm sure it's more of a marathon than a sprint for me!
Thank you Alexis! Good things can take time haha :) I hope you're enjoying your grow out - I'm sure you've made some amazing progress so far!
I absolutely love this 💛 You are truly YOU!!! CONGRATULATIONS 🎈🎉🥰
Thanks Peggy! This final cut feels SO GOOD!
Congratulations on reaching your goal. NO MORE DYED HAIR. I’m sixteen months in and have at least till the end of the year before I’m done. I like your hair cut. It’s the same as mine. 😊
Yes! Thanks Lori! This cut is so cute : P
This is wonderful and so inspiring! I'm just 21 weeks in, and it is challenging, but I'm committed to growing out my natural hair!
Thank you Viktoria! I hope you're enjoying your natural hair! xx
@@thenew_knew I love my hair so much! It's all grown out now and I'm enjoying my soft, frizz free hair. 😊
You rock. I’m waiting for this quarantine period to end to cut my hair that hasn’t been touched in about 16 months. It’s ready.
You look beautiful, your hair is gorgeous. Best wishes for the future.
Thank you so much!
Sounds like a great way to begin the grow out process! I'm glad to hear you have a supportive stylist too.
Happy 6 months! Keep going, and keep that confidence!!
@@thenew_knew Now 9 months in. 🙂
My grays are growing in very weirdly. Almost all of the gray is centered on top of my head - towards the back. I have next to none growing on my sides, or around my face and very little in the back of my head. Fortunately with having very curly hair, it all blends.
Your comments in this video were so on point and express my feelings 100% ...You go girl!
I agree with you is internal. I'm happy you're free.
I can totally relate! I am maybe two more haircuts away. You look beautiful!
Awww you made me cry!!! Your hair is STUNNING!!!!!! So happy for you! I’m 15 months in, I can’t wait to be 100% dye free xx
Thank you Cath! No don't cry! Thanks so much for watching - I'm so happy that you are here 💜
Happy 15 months, and enjoy your grow out!
You look amazing, I LOVE that cut! Your salt and pepper is like natural highlights. I'm at 8 months, growing out pure white roots against black dye. I'm 47 and have long layers that just reaches my bra strap.
How is it going?
Thank you! Your hair sounds stunning!
Aww, funny to get a notification and reread this a couple of years later. I now have long silvery white hair and happy to be free of the root touch ups every 2 weeks. 🙂
You look amazing. I have been thinking about this. I just have gray in front of my face thats the only grey
Your comments about your inner transformation are very relatable. Thank you.
Thanks for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed the content xx
Gray hair is a beautiful gift🙌🏻❤️
beautiful!!! I just hit my 6 month mark in the process
i’m just starting to see my hair pattern and God is a better colorist than i ever was because i love it. I can’t wait a year from now to see my end result with no dye on my hair
thank you for sharing this video
Great job! xo
Great feeling. Good for you. I know exactly what you went through. It is a dedication. 👍👏👏
Looks amazing. I’m into my 7 month of no dyeing. I can’t wait. I will never go back to dyeing my hair.
Your hair looks amazing!! I started cold turkey letting my beauty crown show , been like since the 28th of March 2022. Its been a journey. But, Im ready, still going through all phases, challenges, looks, ect... Thanks for your support as well. May God keep Blessing U through your journey..
Thank you! I'm excited for you !!
Fabulous 😍
I'm over my one year mark... It's not been easy, it's not for the weak of heart! But I'm still very happy I started the journey and can't wait to 100% me! Just a little longer 😍
Just a little longer - you've totally got this!!! xo
@@thenew_knew ..... Have you had any issues with discoloration... Due to heated styling tools?
Great video, thank you. You're right - it is more than a physical change. It is an internal adjustment - one of self-perception. I think it will take me 2 years to grow it all out and adjust ( am in 5th month) x love your whole "look", including your "owning it" attitude x
Super sophisticated look! 👠
Thank you!
Congratulations on your persistence and confidence to completely transition to your natural grey hair. It looks so beautiful. I am also following your footsteps 😊🙌👏
Thank you so much! I'd love to hear how it's going for you!! xo
Seeing your 2021 videos it's so nice to see it much longer. For me it looks really beautiful now you've got it really long.
Thanks!
Your hair looks stunning, so healthy and the natural highlights are gorgeous.
Well done you.
Thank you!
Yes! I love hearing that you are having fun with the process and getting creative. Good for you!
Wow it looks so wonderful. I'm so happy for you. 💚💜💙💛
I'm just starting my journey & need all the inspiration I can find so please keep making videos. Especially about the hair products you like.
Totally! Also, Gina, join us over at The Gray Book Facebook closed group - a ton of support from other women going gray too - xo!
I love the interior transformation story! Thank you!
Thanks for watching Barbara!
Happy grow out! xx
Be proud! You look amazing, but it's also very apparent how good you feel! Sending you joy and happy thoughts!
Thank you!
You are beautiful and your hair absolutely complements you!
Looks awesome 👏🏻. I’m almost done, just shy of the 2 year mark....gonna make it!
I’m 32 nine months in and totally get you. I have the white stripe up front... congrats it’s gorgeous on you
I'm 59 and started getting gray in my early 30s....like noticeably.
@@thenew_knew thank you!
I hope your transition is going well and you're enjoying the silver again.
xo,
Lisa
I wish my hair grew as fast as yours. I think with the new grey hair dyes it’s making it easier for us to go grey.
So pretty! It looks great on you!
Thanks so much!
I feel encouraged listening to your video!
I'm so glad! xo
Love it!!! 😍 Very encouraging since I’m just starting the journey 😳
Thank you! I'd love to hear how your journey is going so far Barb!
Looks great sister. Good on you for your growth on your journey. Inside and out.❤
This stunning lady just needs to grow that incredible coloured hair and she will look sublime
Why do you think she needs to grow it? I think she looks great, but what really comes through is how happy she is
@@katebeirne1678 just my personal preference for long hair but whatever makes her happy

You look stunning! I’m transitioning to silver also only a few months in.
Thanks! I'm excited for you!
Looove the cut !!! You look stunning 💜💜💜
Thanks RoByn!
hi, i have been bleaching my hair for almost 5 years. Going blonde has made my hair thin out. I want to now just go grey and let it come in. I am going to try to tuff it out and just let the roots come in brownish grey for the next year or more. I am in my mid 60s and I want to have natural hair now. Thank you for your nice inspirational video. You look great!
Sounds like you are ready. You've got this!
You look absolutely beautiful! I can’t wait for my transformation to complete!
Thank you Pamela :)
It's super exciting to watch you hair transform! Enjoy the journey.
You’re STUNNING!
