This song will always make me sad.. It remembers me from a sad period in my life when I was bullied in high school because I loved this band and his voice.. Even some teacher united againt me and I had no choice, I had to lie and say that I have stopped listening to them and I didn't like them anymore in order to stop the bullies!! 😓 Indeed my love for this band didn't vanish and now after 12 years here I am, I still love Bathory like that years if not even more.... This song will always remember me of that bittersweet time that I left behind and that at the end, it only made me love more this band!! Thank you great Quorthon for this masterpiece!!

Bought the cassette of Hammerheart in 1990. Bought the CD in 2003 (20th anniversary of Bathory edition). Listening to it digitally in 2023.

I can only say that I was honored to grow up in communism and post-communism with Bathory .... it gave me strength .... and now that the world is changing again, Qurthon it's still here, still gave US strenght .... Bathory, one dream, one man, the best, history repeats itself. YES ...Salute to Quorthon !
