Ya kena mengaku bahawa Malaysia masih jauh perjalanan.

no shame in losing 11-9 in the decider set to Fang. Well fought Mister Wong! Can see from body language WQS is a bit on the nervous side...

Seems like Malaysia still has a long way to go before joining the elites of world table tennis. Fang is a half retired player and I doubt he even trains regularly other than to play a bit during coaching. But the best of Malaysia who train regularly still lost.
Anyway, I am a fan of coach fang. I love his coaching and he has definitely helped me improve my table tennis game.

@90abduh I wonder why my message is "demeaning" to you as I don't think I've attacked WQS in any rude or offensive way. I'm just stating a clear scenario where our current table tennis players are still not yet at the level of top players. Not like I'm requesting them to automatically be good now. But that doesn't mean I cannot comment on the current situation.
Fang is no weak player but he's obviously a player who currently doesn't undergo systematic training and is no longer at his prime. If he would to represent China right now he's world rankings at best may only be top 250. If Malaysia's best player at the moment who goes through daily systemic training struggle against tier 4 Chinese players, then Malaysia indeed has a long way to go before to be one of the best nations.
I've been commenting regularly on this channel since it first started and all along very supportive of Malaysian players so I'm not sure about your reply tone. I also see you regularly commenting here so obviously we're both Malaysian supporters so chill ok?
No fan of Fang, just appreciate his teachings which helped me improve my game. Fang doesn't play internationally anymore so no point of choosing him as and idol.
