Very helpful thank you. Have decided to go for her 100% thank you. Can't pull a really great mythical so maybe she will get me over the hump to progress my account. Thanks again great video!
Banner Lords was the last Faction Wars crypt I beat because I couldn't pull a survivor for the life of me (in the early days they only had Raglin and Ursula). It is nearly impossible to keep the entire team alive against that boss and its minions, which hit VERY hard. Pulling Ursula is what finally let me get Lydia. Kaja wasn't in the game yet, but now anyone that has her and Timit can breeze through Banner Lords FW quite easily.
You made me a happy man bringing Ursala into top 10. I've used her for a long time in CB up to 2-3 keyk UNM (Defiant+ Stalwart gear). Ultimately, i retired the team for an Wixwell Infinity Shield team
one unique thing about belletar's revive is his passive, which has a 50% (books up to 70%) chance to reduce each of the skill cooldowns by 1 tick on every revived champ... sometimes very clutch when it helps your dmg dealer fire their aoe nuke on their first turn after getting revived, when they would have had to wait thru an additional turn if they had been revived by someone else.
I'm surprised Cardinal didn't even get an honorable mention. Definitely think Ursala is amazing. I think she was my lead reviver for 2+ years on my original account, even after I had Scyl for a while.
For duchess you didn’t mention that on top of her passive the veil also reduces aoe damage by 7.5% which on top of her passive is a 32.5% damage reduction (22.5% vs bosses) on top of the untargetability and the continuous heals. Really helps against your team getting re-nuked a 2nd time since she doesn’t give turn meter Accurate placing though just thought it was a small little thing you could’ve mentioned
That's true. And the extra mitigation is an important consideration. I just assumed, for the sake of brevity, that viewers understand what veil does. Thanks for the comment!
I assumed Noel was out of the discussion, from how you started this. Can't believe Ankora and Siphi aren't making the list though. Single target are usually 'good enough', and theirs are top notch.
Well, if I was going to include every reviver of every type, I definitely don't think Ankora makes the top 10. Siphi maybe. You've got to remember, we've got champs like Cardinal, Senna, Michinaki, GSA, and Lydia that were either excluded or didn't make the list. Ankora would have to leapfrog a whole lot of champs to make the top 10. I don't see that happening.
I still stand by her - that skill reset on revive can be huge for the right champs. More PvP than PvE though. I think she's not quite up to Siphi level, but very very strong with 50%HP/75% TM. Lydia requires such a special case to trigger, I don't consider her a real reviver - more on the lines of Uggo. Not sure who GSA is - nor whom you meant for Michinaki, who doesn't have one, but Ankora is someone you add to the team mainly for her revive. As to Cardinal, she's great if you only need her to do it once. Noel's gonna be huge though - no doubt.
Sorry, Marichka, not Michinaki. Lol. GSA = Godseeker Aniri. And for me, Ankora is a very nice champion, but she's not a great reviver. That's the difference, maybe.
0:57 I knew this took many days. Poor Colred 😆 Good list, after getting to watch it all. Was really curious what would be there with Duchess. No time to go for the Fusion, but please let us know how to get the new Epic as easily as possible. 😄
Not sure I agree with the omission of Godseeker. I think the fact that she has 2 types of revive mitigates against the single 'standard' revive limitation.
Heh. Well, my rules, so my call. 😜 But I agree. i think if the list was a pure "top 10 best champions who revive" I would probably sneak her in there around 7 or 8.
I love Elva. I think she's a phenomenal champ and a very good reviver. But she's single target revive. Even if I included those, there are other single target revivers who do the job of reviving better. I think Elva's power comes from her overall kit, not her revive.
i think you forget that duchess not only with her passive reducing aoe damage the perfect veil also reduces damage as well by 15% so essentially a 40% reduction in damage is insane
Nope, I didn't forget. That's why I said she's potentially the reviver with the most survivability for her team. However, those champs have to get all the way from 0% TM to 100% in order to have survived the revive to the next turn. Ursala's allies only have to go from 50% to 100% and they've got more hp plus the strengthen and inc. DEF. And then Ukko has a straight up block damage. So I think those three are all in the mix for best defensive revive.
@@ColredPlaysRSL I have Ukko and don't find him a threat in pvp at all. His block damage can be strip or completely bypassed by a lot of champs nowadays. Lydia aoe reduce damage is straight up 100% uptime passive. Not even close comparison. I take Lydia all day everyday over Ukko.
Lydia is solid in PvP, and I do use her on occasion. But I like Ukko better, in general. One low-key great aspect of his kit for PvP is the buff stealing passive. That one skill can sometimes swing a whole match by itself.
@ColredPlaysRSL i dunno, in plat arena all i see are speed meta. Ukko never gets to go first and is the first to die. Actually I never see him in plat anyway.
i think she is an amazing champ, ppl that says she sucks and going to skip are out of their minds. She is like a Cardinal++, if you hate a stonskin high res Cardinal in arena you gonna cry when you see her with similar build in arena. Her freeze can not be resisted or BLOCKED, when sir nick on the team with 3 turn CD, this is absolutely insane.
Cardinal has the best revive in the game if you are looking at just revive skill. No other reviver ensures that the revived champion takes a turn like she does.
A lot of commenters have brought up Cardinal. And I admit, she's got a unique and powerful revive. The reason I didn't include her on this list is that her kit is otherwise awful, her stats aren't good, and she's kind of a one-trick. What I mean is that, while she can get her allies one free turn, she's not good at getting the team to the turn AFTER that. Low hp revive, no TM fill, no heal, no defensive buffs, no CC, no anything beyond getting one massive team volley in. That's useful in PvP, but not really anywhere else.
Amigo i really think that Ursula is top she got me so far and i still use here allot i have her tanky and yes she is so powerful i rock her in my demon ultra team really good to know that you have that love for her she deserves it and saludos from San Antonio tx
Thanks! A few people have called out the Ursula pick, but many players (like you and me) seem to have a lot of love for this great epic. I appreciate the comment!
Great video, on another note I've noticed how most are always talking about this champ or that champ and booking them and masteries. I may be a little off my rocker but I think artifacts are under valued and chasing/farming for good artifacts can be more valuable than chasing hard to get meta legendaries. I'm wondering what your take on this is and if you might do a video on the subject.
Thanks! Gear is definitely important, sometimes more important than champions, you are right. I talk about it often on my Takeover Tuesday live streams. I'll think about it as a video topic, though. Thanks for the suggestion!
Good call. Senna and Cardinal were sitting just outside the top 10 for me. I love ally attack, but I think that focus on offense knocks her down a little bit as a pure reviver.
Could not agree more with you she. is the best for 3 turn revive and the freeze. I have Sir Nicholas and Nub Raids showed the due in his video can most times keep unkillable up all the time. Once her bug fix is in and she prioritizes Sir Nic over everyone else, It is a crazy broken couple
The biggest downside of Noelle is that she's paired with a mediocre duo. I'd love to see him get a reasonable buff. Better damage multipliers at the very least.
Yeah, a lot of people are commenting on Cardinal. She does have an awesome revive. My problem with Cardinal is that, outside of her revive, her kit is awaful. And her stats aren't good for a void epic either. She sits just outside the top 10 on this list for me.
Going for both Sir Nic and Lady Noelle. Reading the comments here I think most of us watching missed out the purpose of the video 😂 You said you’re looking at the revive only, not how good the champion is with the whole kit. So think the list makes sence to me 😊
Yeah, these videos are like that. Top 10 lists can be fun ways to look at champions with new eyes, but some people always get bent out of shape out of what (I think) should be a light-hearted conversation about good champions. I appreciate your comment. I wish you luck with the fusion!
I don't really disagree with any of this, I might put Pythion above Duchess purely because in Arena I don't fear a Duchess as much as a Pythion or an Ukko. The combo of cleanse/buff strip is devastating compared to duchess who merely hides them but it's definitely the kind of thing that's down to personal preference.
Yeah, I do think that you can mix around a few of these champs, depending on where you use them. For instance, I'd rather have Pythion's cleanse than Duchess's veil for PvE, but i still think she's the overall better champion. Not by a lot, mind you.
She's VERY good. I'm not sure I think she's underrated. I would rank her around 11 or 12 for this list - so close, but no cigar for Cardinal this time.
Yeah, that's a great support combo. Tons of tankiness, heals, revives, cleanses, block debuffs. At this point, I no longer need that kind of team for content, but the F2Per in me loves the idea of it. Thanks for the comment!
Yeah, I considered him too. Honestly, there are SO many revivers in this game. It's really hard to get a handle on a list like this. I though it was going to be a fun, easy video. Turned out to be much tougher than I expected.
Not "hurt," but I do have Galathir and he's definitely in the running for best overall champion in the game, let alone best reviver. That said, I get your reasoning.
I believe Cardinal is on this list because the full turn meter will get your revived champions to go ahead of your opponents. If you are ranking on only the revive, it is hard to top that
Yeah, I thought about that. It's a fair consideration. I think that, for Cardinal at least, I thought there were other reasons she lacked compared to these 10, but maybe I should reconsider.
Your nuts for putting ursula and not Cardinal on the list higher, Cardinal has by far the absolute best revive in the game, all revived champs get instant turns is so amazing
I like Cardinal. I have her sitting around 12 for me. Her revive IS maybe top 5 in the game, although it's on a 5-turn CD and only gives 25% hp, making it weak in most PvE areas. Additionally, her stats are average at best, and the rest of her kit is fairly awful. Taking all of that into consideration, I decided not to put her in the top-10, but I can respect if you disagree.
Well, in certain instances, sure. In others, not so much. For instance, Cardinal is great in a PvP team built to take particular advantage of her revive. But she's weak in places like Hydra where you'd prefer your champions to survive many turns after being revived.
For me rn its freaking Grinner. 1. Only solid reviver i have and 2. goes with 2 of my 4 legos. Annie and Herekletes. Just need one more solid undead to start trying out his faction skills. Im a month a week into the game and as a F2P player, i couldnt ask for much more then i got. I got Geo and Firrol, for clan bosses down the line when i can build em and a team around em.
Nice! Grinner is a good rare reviver, for sure. Eventually, you'll outgrow him, of course. So, if you're looking for an upgrade, maybe this list will help you with that down the line.
Senna is great. A lot of people have commented on her. I think she's a bit more offensive, with her revive at least. But yes, she belongs in the discussion.
The list is good in the sense of the reviver skill but I think that your list does not consider one of the most important criteria: the reviver has to be alive to revive and thats what makes Dutchess and Galathir so good. As far as Noelle is concerned I think that her freeze is somehow wasted on bosses which reduces her use in pve. And if I have to revive every 3 turns in Chimera, my team won‘t do enough damage anyway.
I hear what you're saying, but let me ask you this - is a 3-turn CD revive more useful than a 4-turn CD revive? Yes, it is. Not because you want to revive every 3 turns, but because if you need multiple revives during a fight, the faster they occur, the better it is for your result. In addition, her AoE freeze is great as a survival skill in wave content. So, if you're running dragon, for instance, she will help lock down the waves for you, which let's you get to the boss more quickly and easily, and then against the boss, she will revive your team if they die with the same skill. It's like she has 4 active skill instead of 3. That's always a good thing.
@ 3 turns is absolutely better than 4! But in reality I don‘t use Galathirs Revive in UNM Chimera very often. So it‘s more important that he stays alive himself for me personally. (and does some other crazy stuff)
Fair enough. I think we can all agree that players should always take the champions that best fit their roster, team comps, and in-game goals. These top-10 lists are just a bit of a fun way to look at champions and discuss their kits (as we've done here 😁).
By your very own rules. "Not being reliable" Noelle does not make this list. Her Freeze will happen even if no one is dead, she can and will use the ability if no one is dead, which makes her revive be on CD when needed. This makes her unreliable......
I've heard this argument before, but I disagree. If you don't like these kinds of revives because it's more difficult to program into an AI, that's fine, but that doesn't make the skill inherently unreliable. In my opinion, her revive is both a versatile skill and a reliable one.
I'm talking about the AI commands for auto-battles. In other words, there's no AI command you can give that tells your reviver to hold onto the revive skill in case of emergency if the skill is also used for utility (like Ukko's and Noelle's). I though that's why you don't like these kinds of revivers. Am I misunderstanding your objection?
@ColredPlaysRSL Yes that is what I was saying. You can't fix the AI to not do that, is it's not reliable. Which isn't great. The CD is short, so that's good I guess, in that aspect.
Okay, so my position is this: the skill IS reliable. In fact, it's one of the most reliable in the game because it's a low-cd. However, when using the AI to run your auto-battles, the revive may not always be available when you need/want it to be. Therefore, the unreliability doesn't come from the skill - it comes from the AI. Depending on how you play the game, that may be extremely important to you or completely unimportant to you or anywhere in between. If you don't want to use the champion for this reason, that's totally fair and you should game the way that feels best to you. But I don't think it's fair to say a skill is bad simply because it doesn't suit your style of gameplay, especially in a video like mine that is meant for a wide audience with many styles of play. In short - I appreciate your stance, but I disagree. Thanks for the discussion! 🫡
I think she's great for PvP. I'm not interested in PvP so I'm not sure if I will go for her. Armanz is better for cc and when I need a reviver in PvE Dutchess 9r Arbiter do the job. Heck I really like Tagoar even though his revive is on a five turn cd.
In a lot of PvE, you don't typically need multiple revives. If you do, you're pushing your envelope pretty hard. In those cases, she may periodically slot into a team better than Duchess or Arbiter. Arbiter is more offensive. Duchess is more tanky. Noelle brings more control and sustain. So it just depends on what you need.
Yeah, she's really good too. I currently have her around 11 or 12 on this list, but I think it would be reasonable if you think she deserves a top-10 spot.
Fair enough. Although this will be a friendly fusion calendar. I've got my fusion plan video coming out later today. You may want to check it out before you decide - IF the time factor is the thing holding you back.
Yeah, Cardinal is very good, and her revive skill is one of the best. But she's got an awful kit otherwise, and her stats aren't good. I decided that, overall, she wasn't quite good enough to knock any of these other champs off the list. I have her around 11-13 I think. But I respect the call if you would place her higher.
Oohhhh heels no!!! Sulfuryion is absolutely the best in game... you really have to consider both the A3 and A2 as 1 move. The Xtra turn on aoe revive is ultra god tier because the extra turn is nuke from hell that gives the whole team a massive shield based on the damage dealt, while the hp burn activations heal. If this whole thing is about a reviver that gives you the best chance of survival after revival....nobody is going to save your ass better than good old Sulfuryion. My Dutchess has been collecting dust since I've pulled him.
You know, I originally ranked him at number 2, and then I dropped him down after considering more. It's hard to say - you make a good argument that he could be higher. I just pulled my copy recently, so I'll have to play around with him more before I decide for sure. Thanks for the comment!
You know, I originally had her in contention. But then after doing more research, I realized she's probably around 13-15 for this list. Still a solid reviver though, for sure.
I'll be honest - I totally forgot about Maud. She IS a very good reviver. Not sure she'd make the top 10 here, but maybe she'd sneak in at 9 or 10. Hard to say. Thanks for the comment!
It was so clear that the new fusion is the best reviver. Pushing the fusion. Noell isn´t top 3 my opinion. Freeze you need accuracy, where the other champs don´t need accuracy, so you can put extra survivability on them. Dutchess all the way...
Depends on how you look at it. If the waves can't take a turn, isn't that extra survivability for your team? Against bosses you can't freeze, sure, take Duchess or someone else if you need more tankiness. Or take someone like Pythion with a cleanse and block debuffs. It's good to have more than one reviver built for various content. But if you need someone to do the job of reviving your team, it's hard to argue that a 4-turn CD is better than a 3-turn CD.
I love all 3 of those champions, but I will say this about Pythion: as much as I like him, he is NOT as good as Ukko at getting his allies to their next turn after the revive. I've used them both forever, and Ukko has definitely got the better revive IMO.
@@ColredPlaysRSL I wouldn't even put Ukko in my top 10 because he uses his revive when it's not needed. Meaning, if I don't manual him, he uses it and when I need it, it's not available. I would put Elva miles ahead of Ukko and she's a single target revive. I'd also take Rakka out of my top 10 for the same reason as Ukko. I also have all these champs so I'd rate them on how much I'd want to see them come out of a shard. Sorry....I don't have Duchess out of this list and I'd rate her as the top revive in the game because the rest of the team is untouchable because of her true veil. Maybe Lady Noelle will be the top but I won't make that judgement until I see her in action.
I have had all of these revivers except for Duchess, Noelle, and Bellatar, and I would place Ukko above almost all of them. I understand what you're saying about revives that can be used for other reasons, but I see that as a strength, not a weakness. In practice, Ukko has been my best Hydra reviver on my account forever. Still is.
i wouldnt put mighty ukko above dutches and pythion, yes, she places block damage, but she has no heals, its hard for me to keep my team alive with mighty ukko whether its in pvp or pve or fw, i need to get a healer to support ukko and the team in fw. same as ursula, i cant complete fw21 with ursula alone as a reviver, because she keep dying, whereby the other revivers, dutchess, pythion, arbiter, godseeker, scyl, etc are keeping my team very well alive in my early fw to get lydia, skinwalker and banner lords gave me really hard time because i dont have healer until i put regen gear on ursula, then only i can take down BL fw. i agree they can be in top 10, but definitely not so high up as in your list. even my Elva as a single reviver are holding my team much better than ursula and ukko in pve. well, thats why thoughts, thanks
Thanks for the input! I like Ukko in that spot because, in my experience, his allies always get to their next turn - and that can include any healer you may have along. I love Elva, but she's more of a generalist. Good at everything, great at nothing (except maybe cleansing). As for Ursula, the knock I hear on her is always that she's squishy. I've never had a problem with mine. She helped my complete my FW21 easily. That being said, as the only epic on the list, she can't match the stats of the rest of the champs, so I acknowledge she's tougher to build tanky.
Yeah, she's good. But it's sort of a one-trick. I don't think she's very viable in PvE boss fights, for instance. I originally had her around 11-12 on this list, but the more I think about it, the further back she ends up for me.
Sorry but burning your revive when no champions are dead isn't extra utility but makes them practically useless and that's why you never see them in pvp content and makes them undesirable in pve content. What good is a reviver if you have to wait 3 or 4 turns to bring back your team? I have been playing for 5 years and do not have dutchess or pythion or any of the mainstays I use arbiter, uuko and godseeker and constantly have to manual hydra because I have to turn off the revive skills because a only use to revive option would be too convenient and make the other options less relevant.
I hear what you're saying, but I disagree. For PvP, there's maybe a small downside on defense, true. But if you're playing offense, there's no real downside, since you should be picking your opponents for speed farming OR you're manualing in Live Arena anyway. As for Hydra, I run my Ukko full auto and the increase speed buff is a huge help. In addition, since my team is running faster than the enemy, in the rare case that I need a revive, it comes around very quickly. In my opinion, having more versatility in a champ's kit is never a bad thing. Thanks for the comment!
@ColredPlaysRSL i run eostrid with uuko so the increase speed is irrelevant. I did run full auto to get my badge but the run fell apart because thor killed himself to reflect damage and then I couldn't get him back in time to free my provoker because uuko was on cooldown. I turn it off because his main role is to a1 and revive when needed.
I can see that. And, of course, you should run your champions in the way that makes the best use of them for your team comps. But not everyone runs the same comps. Ukko's ability to be an inc. speed champion allows for a wider variety of team compositions than if the skill was only a revive. From a community-wide standpoint, that makes him a better champion than he would be with a straight-forward revive.
Respectfully disagree with Maritchka. Not only the revive passive but a massive heal block damage and cleanse. With her and Taraus you’re almost guaranteed to stay in gold 5
@ what pve content do you not use her in? Maybe I can use better ones. Just got Ursala. I even have her in my brutal hydra team. Granted she doesn’t do much damage but she’s still excellent
I don't own Marichka, so I don't use her in 100% of content. 😜 That being said, if I need a reviver, I typically want an on-demand revive skill. I most often use Pythion, Ukko, Elva, Arbiter, Scyl, Ursula, Rector Drath, and Godseeker Aniri. I mix in some others in DT secret rooms and Sintranos when needed.
Some people have said that, but I've never found it to be the case. I use Ukko in hydra, and his revive works great there for me, even on full auto. I mean, it's not perfect, but it's worth it for the extra utility, in my opinion.
Duchess is amazing, but as someone who has 2 and both build, I have to tell you she is not amazing in pvp mostly regarding live arena, she is too fair, the revive with 0% TM is really not great, In my opinion she can only be picked in certain spots where you know the revive will get value anyways and you are taking great advantage of the damage reduction, like with a rotos, or like team her with a pythion to stack damage reduction. She is great in 3v3 and in any pve.
Fair enough. I don't have Duchess myself. I find her irritating in PvP, but not overpowering. However, he kit is seriously strongeeverywhere, not just PvP. The only downside, perhaps, is that she doesn't speed you up anywhere. She's just slow and steady.
I thought the same thing, how could she not be on the list, but after thinking about it I can understand why. She's excelent in pvp, probably top 3. But she's just not that great in pve, and if you average both places, I can see why she's just outside of the top 10
No, sorry. She's very good though. I guess the issue is that I don't own her, I don't see her in PvP often, and her revive is more offensive than defensive. I'd probably stick her around 11-13 on this list, but you could certainly make an argument for her being top 10.
Fair enough. Again, it depends on your criteria. I feel very good about placing Ukko there - he's clearly the best reviver on my roster, and I own everyone on this list other than Duchess, Bellatar, and Noelle. Ursula is the more controversial pick, to me, but I still think her actual revive skill was the best in the game before Noelle, although she's not as good a champion as some of the others.
At end-game, you're probably not using revivers that often at all. I certainly don't. I use GSA in Sand Devil and high-utility revivers in Hydra and Chimera sometimes. I almost never use revivers in arena, but that's probably where I'd find the most value for her. However, I DO use AoE crowd-controls in lots of places. And I think her duo will make her valuable in a lot of areas, once we theory craft some teams for her. We shall have to wait and see.
@ColredPlaysRSL I agree if nic was better I would definitely go for her but I have 2 and only use one in some sintranos rooms. He just isn't good enough 2 take up a spot
Yeah, that's the rub. Nic needs a buff. I do think it will be interesting though - Nic buffs Noelle so much, it might just be worth including him in certain comps. We'll have to wait and see.
@ColredPlaysRSL besides demon lord where do you think? Any endgame dt team will have seer or other cc champs not freeze. I'm just asking because I would like some ideas for if I do get her
Yep. Because I mentioned 10 other champs. Although Cardinal is definitely an excellent reviver, she probably sits around 12 on this list, in my opinion.
Yeah, she's an excellent reviver. I have her around 11 or 12 on the list, but since the video, I've been reconsidering. She may be as good as 7th or 8th even. I don't own her, though, so it's hard for me to say. There are just so many good champ who have revives.
You're right, although he uses an extra turn mechanic to get it down to a 3-turn CD. That, and the fact he was recently buffed, is why I missed it. So, I appreciate you catching that one. 👍
i disagree, she is good but far from the best, we need aoe revivers in places where we take tons of damage and the reviver needs to be very tanky with very high res in order to survive and revives the rest of the team. now lets check your list, the top reviver except ukko (who is a very strong debuffer who happens to have revive), all can be built very tanky with high res while providing strong buffs and passives to help in pvp, pve waves and pve bosses, everywhere. now if you dont have sir nic and want to build lady noelle high res this means you are sacrificing acc for her to work the way aoe reviver should work and here is where her weaknesses become clear, she doesnt have good buffs or passives to keep herself and teh rest of the team alive, and if built with acc she will not work against bosses or high res and stone skin in pvp, so even though her revive is on 3 turns cooldown, that is the only guaranteed thing in her kit, the rest is meh on its own, and yakarl who you mentioned can be way better than her in situation where you need freeze and high res (for example bommel 90 hard or if used as cc in arena) as his freeze cant be resisted on his own and provides him with ignore defense on the rest of his kit, so can be built high dps with reliable freeze or high res cc, and he is free. on her own she is a weaker version of sulfuryion is most situations or a better version of the non void epic tagoar
I hear you, but I disagree. Her stats are very good - her hp and def are better than average for her role, she has good speed, and she starts with both free RES and ACC. Her kit includes several ways to keep her team alive. Any AoE hard CC improves your team's survivability in wave content. I'd argue CC is the BEST way to keep your team alive. In addition, she has an inc. speed, conditional dec speed and conditional TM decrease, adding to the speed advantage. She also has a 100% block buffs on her A1, which can be huge in both PvE and PvP. Then she's got a single target cleanse with a MASSIVE single-target heal and respectable AoE heal. So, to recap, she helps you win the speed race, locks down your enemies so they can't go, prevents them from buffing, both cleanses and heals your team, AND has the best AoE revive in the game. And all that is without Sir Nic. The more I think about her kit, the crazier it seems to me.
Most F2Pers and low spenders who are active and late game probably have between 0 and 3 mythicals. That's including Mikage and Karnage. So, as a F2Per myself, I still feel pretty confident making that claim at the beginning of a video like this, but I appreciate not everyone shares the same perspective. Thanks for the comment!
I do care. But I don't think the title is click bait. It's a top-10 list. People know that these videos are meant to be fun and informative and not taken as an end-all, be-all of anything. And I explain my reasoning at the top of the video, so people can opt-out if they don't like the topic. If you don't like the video, or the title, you're entitled to your opinion, but I feel good about the content. And I think the video is actually great for new players.
This is the type of in-depth brainstorming that makes you a trusted CC in this community. Very impressive with the breakdowns and exceptions.
Thank you! I think that top 10 lists are fun ways to re-examine what we know about champions. I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
What about Duhr?
Very helpful thank you. Have decided to go for her 100% thank you. Can't pull a really great mythical so maybe she will get me over the hump to progress my account. Thanks again great video!
You are welcome! Good luck with the fusion! 🎄
Ursula was awesome for me in FW too! And she was often my DT lead as well until I pulled Lady Kimi. Great epic champ, for sure.
You made me a happy man bringing Ursala into top 10. I've used her for a long time in CB up to 2-3 keyk UNM (Defiant+ Stalwart gear). Ultimately, i retired the team for an Wixwell Infinity Shield team
Ursala is amazing. Honestly, she's terribly underappreciated by the community, I think. Such a good champ!
one unique thing about belletar's revive is his passive, which has a 50% (books up to 70%) chance to reduce each of the skill cooldowns by 1 tick on every revived champ... sometimes very clutch when it helps your dmg dealer fire their aoe nuke on their first turn after getting revived, when they would have had to wait thru an additional turn if they had been revived by someone else.
You are right, and I missed that! Thanks for the call out.
I'm surprised Cardinal didn't even get an honorable mention. Definitely think Ursala is amazing. I think she was my lead reviver for 2+ years on my original account, even after I had Scyl for a while.
There were just too many great revivers out there to give honorable mentions to. But, yes, Cardinal is a very good reviver, especially for an epic.
Forget about Raglin. 2!!! Turn Surviver with 100% Turnmeter is sometimes Gold against the others.
You're right. That 2-turn CD with 100% TM is kind of insane. Good shout out. 👍
For duchess you didn’t mention that on top of her passive the veil also reduces aoe damage by 7.5% which on top of her passive is a 32.5% damage reduction (22.5% vs bosses) on top of the untargetability and the continuous heals.
Really helps against your team getting re-nuked a 2nd time since she doesn’t give turn meter
Accurate placing though just thought it was a small little thing you could’ve mentioned
Hah - yeah, I would probably include both of them under consideration, as their revives are key to their kits as well.
0:57 I knew this took many days. Poor Colred 😆
Good list, after getting to watch it all. Was really curious what would be there with Duchess.
No time to go for the Fusion, but please let us know how to get the new Epic as easily as possible. 😄
It took one day, but a much longer day than I anticipated, that's for sure. 😅
He removed Elva too, who does alot of the same things as Noelle, and BETTER.
I love Elva. I think she's a phenomenal champ and a very good reviver. But she's single target revive. Even if I included those, there are other single target revivers who do the job of reviving better. I think Elva's power comes from her overall kit, not her revive.
@@ColredPlaysRSL if this was based strictly on chimera, where would you rate her?
i agree. a top reviver without godseeker is bs.
i think you forget that duchess not only with her passive reducing aoe damage the perfect veil also reduces damage as well by 15% so essentially a 40% reduction in damage is insane
I agree. I didn't really discuss the duo effects in this video, but the duo is going to be a handful in arena, for sure.
@ agree 100%! I run her with my high accuracy monkey and my helph and xena… when we revive, we strip and smack and nothing survives
I am convinced to get Lady Noelle. Thank you
BTW, I strongly ageee with list.
Awesome, thanks! Good luck with the fusion (to both of us!).
Judging by the top chimera comps it sure looks like Senna lol
Once her bug fix is in and she prioritizes Sir Nic over everyone else, It is a crazy broken couple
its very strong but unfortunately not viable in any end game content like LA, hydra, chimera. Crazy strong if your still progressing though
The biggest downside of Noelle is that she's paired with a mediocre duo. I'd love to see him get a reasonable buff. Better damage multipliers at the very least.
I was expecting cardinal to be on the list. She basically grants everyone an extra turn.
What about Cardinal, yup it is on a 5 CD but full max turn meter I think she is so so underrated!
She's VERY good. I'm not sure I think she's underrated. I would rank her around 11 or 12 for this list - so close, but no cigar for Cardinal this time.
Extremely easy to counter a Cardinal in pvp compared to most of the others, she might beat a lot of them in pve though.
Crazy where you put Dutchess her heal is so great she can carry an account
A lot of these champions can carry an account, but I didn't rank them based on best overall - just on their primary role as revivers.
Great list!
Thank you!!
Duchess paired with Pythion will get every dungeon, DT hard level done for you if youre struggling.
Yeah, that's a great support combo. Tons of tankiness, heals, revives, cleanses, block debuffs. At this point, I no longer need that kind of team for content, but the F2Per in me loves the idea of it. Thanks for the comment!
You forgot Laz as a myth revive. But he's passive as well, so I guess you can exclude on that basis
Yeah, he's fantastic. I hate coming up against him in arena, that's for sure. Wouldn't mind having him on my roster.
@@ColredPlaysRSL instant turns far more valuable than hp %
Honestly, for me right now it's senna.
Cardinal is pretty good for tag,
Arbiter is great access to everywhere.
Pythions a beast.
But senna.
Senna is great. A lot of people have commented on her. I think she's a bit more offensive, with her revive at least. But yes, she belongs in the discussion.
Clearly it's maj boy Tagoar ❤
Lol. I do love me some Tagor. Great epic champ, and solid reviver, for sure.
Aniri is the best one, she effectively has two seperate revives.
Aniri is awesome, for sure. And, as a F2Per myself, I love good epics.
These top-10 lists are just a bit of a fun way to look at champions and discuss their kits (as we've done here 😁).
should really rename the title to best aoe reviver
Heh. Fair enough.
110%
By your very own rules. "Not being reliable" Noelle does not make this list.
Her Freeze will happen even if no one is dead, she can and will use the ability if no one is dead, which makes her revive be on CD when needed. This makes her unreliable......
I've heard this argument before, but I disagree. If you don't like these kinds of revives because it's more difficult to program into an AI, that's fine, but that doesn't make the skill inherently unreliable. In my opinion, her revive is both a versatile skill and a reliable one.
@@ColredPlaysRSL What do you mean more difficult to program? You cant program that into the AI.....
Senna amberheart?? Crazy turn meter, great healer, and pseudo ally attack.
Yeah, she's really good too. I currently have her around 11 or 12 on this list, but I think it would be reasonable if you think she deserves a top-10 spot.
Not going for the fusion as xmas is tooo busy with family here all the time. List was interesting although the CD for Ursala is a no no for me.
Fair enough. Although this will be a friendly fusion calendar. I've got my fusion plan video coming out later today. You may want to check it out before you decide - IF the time factor is the thing holding you back.
If getting turn from revive is the best, where is cardinal, she is queueing her revived ally immediately, doesn't matter if enemy has 9999 Turn meter
Tagoar just because he is a lot more achievable' and easy to build' and has a very good kit for an epic.
I agree. He's fantastic. Top contender for best epic reviver in the game (after Ursula and GSA).
@@ColredPlaysRSL You can't start the game with any of them' but you can start the game with Tagoar :)).
Can you? That's great. He'd be a fantastic early-game addition to a roster.
@@ColredPlaysRSL yes, you can. The starter codes now are very good.
One thing I know for sure before watching is that Blind Seer will not be on this list...
You know, I originally had her in contention. But then after doing more research, I realized she's probably around 13-15 for this list. Still a solid reviver though, for sure.
I use scyl and sulfuryion in my chimera runs and on CB thought about using ursala
I love me some Scyl of the Drakes. Great champ, very good reviver. If you're F2P, or even if you're not, she's typically an excellent investment.
Aniri not on the list is a SACRILEGE, she is my most used reviver everyday!!!
Lol. Well, I knew I was going to get this kind of response, which is why I mentioned her in the video. Yeah, GSA is top notch, no argument here.
if galathir wasn't excluded, he's easily #1
I don't know. I think you could make an argument for him being the best champion, but not necessarily the best reviver, if that makes sense.
NO ELVA?!?! She is my higest win-rate reviver in Live Arena, I am in gold 4 as a low spender.
Elva is awesome! But she's single-target, so I made the call. Sorry.
Maud is pretty good
I'll be honest - I totally forgot about Maud.
Duchess. Pythion. Elva. Top 3 not necessarily in that order (lego obviously)
Agreed there. If Elva revived the entire team she'd be the best in the game. Siphi would be there too.
Still is.
Lazarius is a great 1 too.
True, but another champ with a passive revive, so didn't make the list. Like I said, this was a HARD list to make.
i wouldnt put mighty ukko above dutches and pythion, yes, she places block damage, but she has no heals, its hard for me to keep my team alive with mighty ukko whether its in pvp or pve or fw, i need to get a healer to support ukko and the team in fw.
same as ursula, i cant complete fw21 with ursula alone as a reviver, because she keep dying, whereby the other revivers, dutchess, pythion, arbiter, godseeker, scyl, etc are keeping my team very well alive in my early fw to get lydia, skinwalker and banner lords gave me really hard time because i dont have healer until i put regen gear on ursula, then only i can take down BL fw.
i agree they can be in top 10, but definitely not so high up as in your list. even my Elva as a single reviver are holding my team much better than ursula and ukko in pve.
well, thats why thoughts, thanks
Thanks for the input! I like Ukko in that spot because, in my experience, his allies always get to their next turn - and that can include any healer you may have along. I love Elva, but she's more of a generalist. Good at everything, great at nothing (except maybe cleansing). As for Ursula, the knock I hear on her is always that she's squishy. I've never had a problem with mine. She helped my complete my FW21 easily. That being said, as the only epic on the list, she can't match the stats of the rest of the champs, so I acknowledge she's tougher to build tanky.
why is Cardinal not on the list? max turn meter is op
I know Starsage got left out but come on he knocks out everyone but maybe the new champ
Yeah, he's a beast. Making these lists can be tough, though, so it was just easier to give him an honorable mention and move on.
I dont like so mutch Ursala 😢 but why not ^^
She's awesome! A great DT lead, too!
Respectfully disagree with Maritchka. Not only the revive passive but a massive heal block damage and cleanse. With her and Taraus you’re almost guaranteed to stay in gold 5
She's god-tier in arena, for sure, but this list was for both PvP and PvE. I don't think she's a very good PvE reviver at all.
Uuko's revive ai makes him a terrible reviver. You have to manual him.
@ColredPlaysRSL For sure! I was just talking live arena, although she can be annoying in high resistance
Where is Cardinal ?
I thought about Cardinal, but I put her just outside of the top 10. You could certainly make an argument for her, though.
I thought the same thing, how could she not be on the list, but after thinking about it I can understand why. She's excelent in pvp, probably top 3. But she's just not that great in pve, and if you average both places, I can see why she's just outside of the top 10
Why did I think Arbiter was a 3 turn cooldown lol. Its prob cause shes my fastest champion 🤣.
Yeah, that's what's great about Arbiter. She has that huge TM fill, plus we build her fast, so her revive just comes back around so quickly.
Cardinal not there ?
I've got her at 11 or 12. Hard to say. I think Cardinal, GSA, and Senna are the ones people are going to be most upset weren't on the list.
@ColredPlaysRSL completely understand that. Just thought with the full turn meter it eliminates the need for survivability
Yeah, it's a good shout out. Honestly, I eliminated her for other reasons before I started to refine the top rankings.
i am going for her
Me too! Good luck to us both!! 🍀
No Cardinal?? Colred, you disappointed me 😢
No Senna?
No, sorry. She's very good though. I guess the issue is that I don't own her, I don't see her in PvP often, and her revive is more offensive than defensive. I'd probably stick her around 11-13 on this list, but you could certainly make an argument for her being top 10.
Mother Cebele?
Good champ, but I didn't consider any revive-on-death champs. I don't really consider them revivers in the same way as the rest of these are.
I think 2 nd and 3th reviver is not ok, Phythion and Duth. is better ....
Hey hey
Howdy
New players yes she is good endgame where do you use her? Where is she top tier?
I'm just asking because I would like some ideas for if I do get her
Zero mention of cardinel
Yep. Because I mentioned 10 other champs. Although Cardinal is definitely an excellent reviver, she probably sits around 12 on this list, in my opinion.
Senna.
Yeah, she's an excellent reviver. I have her around 11 or 12 on the list, but since the video, I've been reconsidering. She may be as good as 7th or 8th even. I don't own her, though, so it's hard for me to say. There are just so many good champ who have revives.
I have ursala but i don't use him
She's a great champ! Was my lead in DT for a long time until I pulled lady Kimi.
even Ursala is a lady :p
Before watching I’m gonna say Siphi
Just finished the video, I was wrong! Haha but gurgoh also has a three turn freeze one booked out of the void legendaries colred
Booooo! Put Galathir on the list lol!
Noooo! Down with Mythicals!!! Galathir go home! 😜
I think the mythical champs have been in the game long enough, you can stop saying people don’t have them.
Completely disagree, look at Boozor, 5 years in 0 mythicals. They're purely for high spenders and those who defy the insane odds of getting them.
People don't have mythicals Shooter. Grats if you do.
@@modernthinker300 Agreed, I've been playing since 2019, about to pull Mikage this Tuesday finally for my 1st mythical.
Change the title, it's just bad to have such a click bait title for new players, but you probably won't care
I have ursala but i don't use him
She's great! She was my lead in DT for a very long time until I pulled Lady Kimi.
She's still my DT lead and in my best bolster set.
