i was looking for a video on this for the last few days. i personally believe to be able to customize your effects live is at the basis of live light performance, so to me this video is one of the holy grails of programming. thank you jonas, youre awesome!

Hi Jonas, nice waterfall I must visit it one day... Man thank you for all you tutorial videos I'm learning a lot from you ... That said I'm needing a little help, I created 2 execs temp faders to manipulate pan/tilt, it worked great until I noticed they keep sending the attribute values even after the movings are not selected, so If I want to change 1 moving I cant because it changes all others at same time, I tried changing store options but sothing seems to work, I tried macros to make the executor change the encoder value but no deal. Can you give me a light on this ? Thanks in advance !
I can’t figure out how do I change wings in 2 line effect like circle to be symmetrical (pan =-2 and tilt=2 for example) pls help🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hello Jonas! I’ve done do macros with dimmer fx, and it’s running good. But when i apply in Pan/Tilt FX, it’s not working. The macros already change the effect, but nothing changes in 3D or Stage View. Why is that ?

I think you did, for example: Exec 101 DIRECTION Exec2 Groups ... (Slot1);
Exec 106 DIRECTION Exec 107 Groups ... (Slot 2)
Exec 111 DIRECTION Exec 112 Groups ... (Slot3) would look better as you can see seeing a change in real time
of all slots.I also think it would be more dynamic if we put the color of the executors buttons and fader
referring to SLOT 1 one color, the executiors button and fader referring to slot 2 another color, and so on.

been trying to figure out how to do this type of thing for months after seeing it off-handedly in a Christian Jackson Video lol
Without lua, you could also create new fx option sequences for each slot. And use the macro to replace them according to the selected slot. This way your fx options for each slot will be "remembered"

Jordan B, you basically create 25 sequences instead of the only 5 in the video (5 of Direction, 5 Blocks and so on, total 5x5). Then every slot gets there own group (5) of execbuttons. When choosing which one to edit, you can change which of the 5s you want to show. Then the effect parameters are always stored in designated cue stack (slot1 is 1-5, slot2 is 6-10 and so on). Meaning the changes you do is always stored, because when changing an other slot, you don’t use the same sequence.
