I remember being 35+ weeks and I would be squatting reading a chest tube, and I would stay down foreverrr pretending I was really interested in reading it. In reality, i couldn’t figure out how to get back up 😂.
Whatever grandma
Lol
Congratulations! One of my coworkers who recently found out she was pregnant went on "modified duty" since her pregnancy is high risk- she never takes patients but does things like paperwork, auditing charts, etc.
I’m so glad your coworkers are so amazing and looking out for you. You are such a great person, you def need to be safe! Thank you for all your helpful videos. Your videos have helped me so much as a new nurse.
You are glowing. I wish you the best with your new beautiful child💕❤️
I'm so happy for y'all!!!!
Your Litteraly the best person ever and i want to be a Nurse.
Simply addicted in your videos, love your comments
Congratulations on you're new bundle of joy 🎉🎊🎈👍👏👶🏻
How long have you been a nurse? Have you ever worked in a clinic setting?
I definitely refuse contact patients such as droplet/airborne precautions. I work in a cardiac ICU so lifting patients can't be avoided lol. I just get help and have really understanding co-workers 😄
Hey! Great video! I'm also a nurse in an ICU and actually am going back to work from my maternity leave next week. I was fortunate to be able to take a year off (Canada). Just wanted to offer some words of encouragement! It can be really hard some times to work until the end, but it's doable as long as everything is going well. I worked up until I was 38 weeks at which point I just couldn't anymore. A belly support band definitely made it more manageable. I wish you all the best!
be safe, congrats
your coworkers sound amazing.
I know this is a weird question, but do patients try and touch your stomach? If so, how do you handle it?
Alex Zdan that not weird it actually good question
Hey ashley i have a question im going to be in my last semester or nursing school and me and my husband want to have a baby, should i work a year then plan to have my baby or should we have thr baby first before i start work lol im just confused i could be overthinking
Do you have time to spend time with your husband? also, are you able to take vacations..if so, for how long?
When did you inform your unit/ manager that you are pregnant?
Congrats 👍👍👍
I love you nures from lraq
why do all these nurses get knocked up around the same time
Lol I'm really overweight and a CNA, I could probably handle a pregnancy easily if I lost weight
How long are you going to be out after you give birth
Nick Troll haven’t figured that out yet!
It’s ok your videos made me want to go the nursing school
😎
Damn bro
Well you're sure lucky, 8months pregnant, 12hr shifts on PCU, still get all the infected patients besides TB patients, and those who can't even get out bed on their own. Make sure you get a belly support of some kind cause you're back is going to start killing you.
I forgot to mention TED hose!! They are a must, my legs swelled with my first and I couldn’t see my ankles.
