    It's new (main picture showing the box), free shipping, high feedback and buyers are shopping for Christmas. I think the latter two are most important in conveying honesty and giving confidence.. a solid track record and no surprise element or sense that the seller is gaming them on shipping when they go to check out. The fact that there are so many other watchers and purchasers also gives a sense of urgency to the buyer.

    Doesn't seem like a whole lot would be left after all those extra promotions and sub title fees and free shipping. Maybe a very larger seller could do this, average sell no.

      you should use the same tactics on rarer items that you can sell for more. This isn't a rare item, it's everywhere

    As someone who works 80+ hours a week and has 3 kids THANK YOU for the short video. 5 minutes I can do. So many videos are 20+ minutes, with 5 minutes of random rambling that often has nothing to do with the clickbaity title I barely even click on them anymore. Especially if you're working full time plus and reselling and a parent who in the world has time for that? Maybe if I'm sitting at soccer practice or in the school pickup line I may have a few minutes to skip around a video of a youtuber I really like to try to find the juicy content but watching full length videos all day is not something even remotely productive people have time for. I don't know who those are even for. lol Anyway only giving feedback because you mentioned people watching start to finish and I did on this one.

    Wondering if the couches in the patreon chat help/give reviews of our eBay page? I've been doing ebay for around a year or so but feel I am missing something that is holding back more of a consistent growth.

    I wish Paypal Credit would show as a payment option on our listings as most of the items we sell are expensive and we feel this would potentially attract more sales.

    Could someone explain why recently ebay shows the the sellers store name on the listing instead of their user ID. Not all listings are like that yet but it seems they are making user ID's less important like youtube a few years ago as well. Can someone that knows the real reason let me know. Store names are always longer than user ID's so I don't understand it.

    So if they up the % eBay gets to around 40-50% of total sales price and it gets boosted on eBay.

    Good video! I have a hard time with descriptions especially remembering every single thing but I do try. I always put key words if I can’t think of a bunch of extra things to say. I would say I’m pretty good with titles also so it kinda makes up for my descriptions. Idk I think it’s more of I just forget to put everything about an item every time like I scatter it… and it’s a terrible habit I need to be better with taking as Much time on it as possible. so my descriptions are everywhere some are long some short and some nothing except key words. And like length and width if it’s 100% necessary. What would you say are some really important thing that HAVE to be in every description? I have adhd really badly to so it’s a big struggle for me to just stay focused on One thing at a time. Im always going fast or scattered. But I would say I do good for my life circumstances. Anyway been watching videos and I watch podcasts here and there. Never comment much. But I’m definitely gonna engage more. Thanks for all the helpful vids and podcasts!!!! Happy reselling!!

    Shipping from Kentucky means that this company has millions of dollars in capital. Not an easy thing to be a Lego Authorized Dealer. BestBuy has video games with just one picture but eBay play favorites when it comes to million dollar companies and we cannot compete with them.

    Great Vid, I get what you're saying and we should take time to make our listings stand out; with that being said this listing seems fishy. I'm a Lego collector and that you can get anywhere for 20 bucks Brand New Sealed. Its still in stores.

    • @rick9705

      A lot of ebay shoppers live in remote areas, and a lot of people with expendable income aren't going to spend 30 minutes on google comparing prices. This comes out to about $25 shipped, not too far off. Hell, even may live in a city where it's a giant pain in the ass to even leave the house due to traffic and travel time. Shopping from home is nice!

    • @scribble5057

      @rick9705 the 20 dollar pricing is all over eBay and Amazon. Even af 25 that's better than the example shown.

    • @rick9705

      @@scribble5057 have you ever experimented with items on eBay pricing yours higher than other identical items and using promoted listings to see if you can sell it? Some people have enough money they can be lazy and not spend time searching they’ll buy the one that’s in their face. I’m telling you. And this listing in the example hasn’t sold thousands. It’s only sold 15. that’s not unreasonable to believe 15 People bought an item without researching prices to save five dollars.

      @@scribble5057 try it yourself with an item you have. Trust. I’ve listed jerseys for $29 that have sold when the same jersey is listed 20 times same size for as low as $11. Like absolutely identical.

      @retrohead2408 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@scribble5057I think you may have missed the point of the video or the (vid) as you call it. This item was being served by ebay for a reason and he was pointing out all the reasons why ebay deemed the listing high priority. This was not at all about the product or the price point. He was merely explaining a formula. You could plug any product into the equation. Those other Lego listings you were referring to were not being served by ebay for a reason. In fact, if the price is that low and they are still not being shown by ebay that might be a great example of a bad listing.
