CONGRATS on becoming a father !! But also, great to hear that you're now also celebrating somewhat of an anniversary! Keep providing quality, that will be more and more recognized and bought. Not worried about that at all. You've got that covered. Great to see videos again!
hyundai genesis brembos, nissan rouge rotors and some wheels. Needs some sort of fake exhaust and window tint. No one will ever know until they see the sunroof.
Its okay. You don't have to pretend the roof spoiler wouldn't come off. You can say you just liked it xDD. My FK7 came with that as well. Wasn't too jazzed about it but it started growing on me. Don't see too much of that in my areas. Seeing all those FK8s together makes me wish I sucked it up and forked over for a Type R when I bought my car but I am more than pleased with my FK7.
Hey this randomly popped up in my recommendation but I just want to say I like your seat covers for my Type R! Definitely made my cleaning job much easier.
I have a U.S. spec FK7 1.5 liter with FK8 body with no sunroof I always get people thinking it’s an FK8 but get shocked/ surprised when it tell them it’s a Civic Sport
I love seeing videos from you guys. I don't get my FK8 until October (assuming I pass my test!) and I'm already making a list of parts I want bolting onto it! 🙂
@@DreamAutomotive Epilogue: I passed my test and got my FK8. I can see why you said it's a mad first car! The insurers are peering at me through binoculars at the minute, so I think the more serious modifications are going to have to wait until I have some NCB! Not to worry though, my list of parts I want continues to grow!
@@DreamAutomotive it was the wheels and the arch gaps that made me notice straight away. Then upon closer inspection the interior was a dead giveaway. To non type r owners you’d get away with it lol
Fake Type R? We have lots of them here in the Philippines. Its just a lazy effort of slapping some Chinese replica Type R bodykits on a Civic sedan body.
Why would we do that - we want the looks of a Type R with the comfort of a Sport! We have plenty of Type R's to play with here, this one is a family car 😎
Being a Type R specialist we got bored of the FK7's toned down looks but didn't want to compromise comfort as a family car - it's much easier to bolt on the FK8 body parts we had lying around than to try and fit a 1.5T, CVT gearbox, sunroof, etc...
Why leave the type R badges? By all means use the kit ,but take the badges off. This is my intro to ur channel and i def have no interest to look further if this is the goofy shit you do
The badges were left on purpose in an attempt to trick more people and have the car go 'under the radar' - we're more than aware the Type R badge has no place on a 1.5T 😆
We have plenty of Type R's in our fleet already - this car now has the looks of a Type R with the comfort of an FK7! 😎 We wanted features such as the leather seats, sun-roof, CVT gearbox and much bigger boot as the car is used as a daily family car.

Thank you! 🙌We really appreciate the kind words

awesome video! the car looks great, you’ve earned a sub 🤩
Thank you! 🙌

We're glad you like them! 💪 Thanks for watching
I remember seeing this. Was impressed, but the wheels and Panaramic roof were a giveaway. I was curious to who owned this 😂
Would love to see this with lowering springs and wider wheels/spacers.
Coming soon!
Came back with a banger! What did i miss Dream uploads! Haha
Thank you! 💪 We've got a few more videos in the pipeline 👀
enjoyed the video good job on the car

The FK8 will be a MAD first car! 👏 We're ready to start modifying when you are 😎

The dead giveaway for me would be the wheels and missing red brembos, but that's an easy fix though
Great video 👍🏻
Thank you! 🙌
i hope all the holes that got drilled got some sort of coating to prevent rust
Wheel spacer is a must on that one
Wheels are on their way! 🙌
Brother do you know about turkey and thailand so you know they can do it like 2 hours
The car looks amazing great job
It came out better than even we expected!
If you don't want to fit aftermarket wheels then you should run the OEM FK8 wheels with some 5x114.3 to 5x120 adapters.
Aftermarket wheels are on the way! 💪 What wheel would you pick?
where did you get the Type R Spoiler?
It was laying around as a spare from our racecar - we're quite lucky to have many spare panels.
can u make fake fl5 also?
This would be a lot harder, and more expensive, as the FL5 panels are moulded to be much wider rather than a clip on arch like the FK8.
Spotted it straight away lol good job though 👍
Good eye! We think a set of wheels and some lowering springs would definitely have helped 😅
@@DreamAutomotive it was the wheels and the arch gaps that made me notice straight away. Then upon closer inspection the interior was a dead giveaway. To non type r owners you’d get away with it lol
So are the bumper, fenders, side skirts, hood bolt on tke fk7 without any modifications? And did you had to recalibrate the Honda Sensing feature?
90% is bolt on
@@ernestoruiz6615 Tell me about the 10% :D
We have a LOT in indonesia, pretend to be Type R but automatic trans 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭
Take out the 1.5 in with a k20 😁👌
It's tempting, but the comfort, ease and smoothness is why we chose an FK7! It would make for an interesting project though...
Should have made it a wingless type r
Fake Type R, you meant usual civics in Malaysia ?
😆 is this a common thing in Malaysia?! 1.5 CVT's with Type R styling? 😳
You need to get all Mat Armstrong on that engine, we need flames on that school run😂
Fastest school run in history?! 😅😳
Where’s the national FK2 meet ? 😡😡😤😂
😆
Nobody noticed the unusual headlight washers on RHD ‘FK8’?👀
Keen eye! In some countries the Type R came with them, but not here in the UK! 😳

this aint no type r replica til you put the fk8 engine in it.

Nice! I own a FN2 type R clone myself
that is the base model lol
great now we gonna have losers turning their LX into a type r 😕
It is way more cost effective to simply buy a Type R! 😆
Real Type R = FK8
Fake Type R = FK7.99
🤣🤣
@@DreamAutomotive the 0.01 is because of the engine and gearbox 😂
Many fk8😅
Why make a rep Type R?
I reckon it's cause it's an Auto and a better daily driver than the actual type R (not as stiff).

It’s nothing like saying that.
What in the rice
R.I.C.E.
😩
I didn’t know UK had so much ricers 😂
Bruh
This was the general reaction at the FK8 owners meet too! 😅
Slowest type R ever
We have plenty other REALLY fast ones! This one isn't meant to be fast 😁
All type r are slow
