Hi Heather & Cecil. I am a few weeks into my tripple heart bypass. its going well but wont be cutting any trees down soon. Take care and keep safe. :-))
That new dish really helps and comes across very, very well. You might not believe it, but you both look at least 10 years younger - it must be the result of the new system. But then I listen to this video about you both being ill. That is not good and I hope you are soon all better, not so that you can start your work again. However, when you are both healthy again and strong enough, wait at least another week until you start on new work, construction and so on.
gee durn the luck;;;been trying to find some replacement tires and a pedal for my tricycle so I could come up and check on you two;;;;lol;;;glad all is well and hopefully fixed for the future episodes;;;can't wait to see your lumber yard;;;;;haven't seen anything to compare;;;;lol;;;as always enjoyed;;;thumbs up and durnit girl been waitin for another recipe so get cookin;;;lol;;we gone berfore have to put a book cover on this
Good to see you both are better and getting strength back, and internet, and phone service worked out. Take it easy and you’ll be fine soon! Get those immune systems back strong. Vitamin D3 and zinc to name just a few! Be safe!
Glad to see you back. Looks like the mountains west and south of here in L.A. are back on fire again, lotsa smoke cause of more 100 mph winds yesterday and about 80mph winds today. Couple that with the current temp at 74F and fire season is here. Hope you guys fair better and we'll see more happening. I have wondered, have you ever come face to face with bears, moose animals that can be dangerous, beavers too? Bigfoot or sasquatch. Lots of them in California, in fact the high desert around Edwards Air Force Base in Lancaster and Palmdale California have had sasquatch sightings for years.
Hello Don, thanks....today I feel like I am 99.9% today and Heather is almost there as well. We are fast on the mend for sure. Thanks again. You have a great day and stay safe. Cheers!
Hi Walter here from North bay I had a little bit of cold myself but I take ginger and natural honey every morning it does help the lungs and more look into it in joying your videos take care
Good to see your feeling better there has been alot of different viruses going around here in ny as well. Wife says I’m too miserable for the bug to bite 🤔 what ever works for
Hey Cecil and Heather so good to see you both. Thankful your both on the mend. We have been missing you both. We’ve been having negative temps here in W. Va. too. But normally we have very mild winters. Usually if we do get a snow in a few days it is gone. I’m looking forward to your return. We live remotely about an hour drive from town and RUclips and Netflix are all we ever watch.
Hope you guys get better and I like your videos. I wonder what happened to you guys. I hope you guys get well here in saskatchewan. It's we just finished having the cold snap. It's heading down to you guys. So it was −45 here, so hope you guys. Stay safe and get better
Hello Barry, thanks...we are 100% better today. Last night it went down to -40 Celsius...supposed to warm up tomorrow though. Thanks again. You stay safe and warm. Cheers!
Just last night I was thinking about you guys. And Texas has lots of desert area. They barely hit freezing temps on their coldest days. Here in Iowa today was well below 0 degrees F.
Sorry to hear you've been ill, I truly sympathise with you as both my sister & myself are gradually coming out of it like you, "Feel Better Soon Guys" love from Devon UK xx
Glad you"re back. Hope you feel all better soon. Yep..we were 'under the weather' over Christmas ....and it lingered for weeks. R lost his taste & smell ( but slowly coming back), but i had the stupid cough....we both had low energy but graduslly getting it back. Take care! It's great to be on the grid, especially as we age and in times when not feeling well. Looking forward to warmer weathet!!!!
Hi guys glad to hear you’re healing up and things are improving - one more day of very cold weather - hope the JD blower isn’t too big of a problem - glad you had a warm place to be while sick - I too have had a string of bad luck (fender bender) so we have to be grateful for all we have especially our health - good to hear from you both - best of luck, cheers
It’s good to see you. I was wondering what was up. I hope you get back on your feet in all regards. You left us wanting more so be sure to keep us posted on all projects. Best wishes. 🥸👍👀👋👋✅
So sorry ya'll had that virus lot of folks around here had it and a lot of them didn't make it or spent several weeks in the hospital. We had the shots and boosters also flue shots thank the good lord we didn't get sick. Love yall's cabinets. Glad ya'll are on the mend praying for ya'll. Thanks for sharing be safe take care.
Glad you guys are feeling better i got the creeping crud for new years i live just north of Niagara Falls ny been cold here high of 12f today take care and god bless
The shinny side of my osb was recalled because the vanish they used turned into black mold. it was a Canadian company, and they never honored their recall, over 10 years. On the roof the roofer put the sheets on shinny side down because he said it was too slippery to walk on especially with sawdust on it. In 2015 I tore off a perfectly good roof wearing Haz-mat gear, tore the sheets, removed all the insolation and bagged it up on the roof. Vacuumed everything, then sprayed everything with calcium hypochlorite, let dry for 24 hours, then painted it all in with 7, 5 gallon buckets of Kills latex with an air less sprayer. I fell 3 times but never fell through the sheetrock luckily. New screens to replace bird blocks= no bird blocks just screens every bay, because it had closed soffits, drilled more holes in closed soffits for more ventilation, new insolation, not near as backed, new plywood, felt paper, dimensional roofing ,exact same roofing that was on it before, even got it from the same company, and bought brand new vent-a-ridge, the original got damaged during removal, I even built my own vent-a-ridge covers. close to $ 12.000 in materials. Started June 23- July 28 lost 35 pounds, wearing a tyvax sout , full faced 3m respirator and chemical resistant gloves , duct taped to the suit, world record on staying in the suit was 1:40 minutes and was going through 5-6 changes of close per day, literally poring sweat out of my boots and gloves and had 6 different tyvax suit. Not one day of rain ,thank God, but 94 degree days. I'm surprised I survived it! went through Gatorade like water. Too tight of insolation, bad osb, and not enough ventilation! I don't ever want to do that again! It made me sick too!
Don't apologize you cant help being no well its good to hear your felling better now tho just get better its just that last wee bit you need to shift.iam glad to hear you are on grid now i could only imagine what it would be like with that bug thing and off grid and solar pannels -23 wow! thats cold Good to see you’re all back and looking good as always Cecil and Heather May the lord bless and protect you
Like so many others your absence on the screen worried us. Winter always brings viruses and the like. You both sound as though you are both still a little under the weather. Please continue to look after your selves. Mike
Sorry about you guys being sick just thought you went on a caribbean cruise no not really no saw mill Cecil would have to have a tour of the ships engine room lows of -28 and highs of -15 for the last 7 days we are starting to getting highs in the double digits this coming week here in northern MN. that's fahrenheit. stay warm and get well
I am glad to hear that you folks are on the mend. I have experienced both of the versions that you guys had. I never had the stomach issues that you said you experienced. Good thing it is behind you. Stay warm & safe. Cheers
Look up in your attic for black mold or activly wet condensation,m in Alaska they use thick bays with a lot of insolation, with an air passage on the top, but thay also use plastic to keep the heat out of the insolated areas, to keep a slower less extreme temp change it these areas. the best is a nice D log cabin, with thick wood everywhere
log cabins have little to no room for mold, and the transition from hot, inside to extreme cold outside is a slower less extreme change with no room for mold or condensation, which creates mold. a thick log cabin is the way to go!
Hell I just thought y'all were staying in and watching the snow fall 🥶 we are getting some snow right now down here in North West Florida and south east Alabama we're going to get over 5inchs and that's a lot down here it will stay with us for a few days but the Lord Gives it and he will take it away in a few days it will be back in the 60 s but you can have it back Idon't lt😂 God Bless Y'all and have a great day
Hello Gene, no lol...this Covid crap got us good. Hope it warms up for you folks..our over night temperature last night was -40 Celsius or - 40 Fahrenheit...it equals out at that temperature. Thanks again. You stay safe and warm. Cheers!
Glad you Both are on the mend. There is a flu that does the same thing, with the taste and smell. I had it a few years ago.I was given a blood test and it showed no strange flu wink wink.
i heat my house with 220v baseboard heaters. That and the hot water tank plus everything else uses about 3,000 kwh on the cold months. So that works out to about 700 plus dollars a month on the cold months. I'm on equalized payments so I can't give an exact amount. I have one of those fireplaces that I removed during renovation years ago and still have a potbelly wood stove in the basement for just in case that I haven't used this winter yet. I sure love the feeling and sight of wood heat though. I just settle for the outdoor pit fire!
I like you guys program. But your wife is extremely beautiful lol.i had to get that out lol.im ron from northern vermont. My land borders canada. I like the woodwork in the kitchen..its been really cold here also.with adround 3 feet of snow.ok take care and keep the videos coming.thanks.
Hello Andrew, thanks...no we just got sick right away. Today we are both feeling back to normal now, we have already carried in all the tools and lumber we need to start on our shelving. It got down to -40c last night...was chilly out this morning. Brrr. Cheers!
Been going through exactly the same crap here in Minnesota. Did you guys get the 8 days of fog prior to the sickness? There are lots of folks drawing that conclusion all around the countryside.
Hello Arnold, no we just got sick right away and it lasted about two and a half weeks. When Covid came around the first time we both got the jab...we never got sick at all, but we let it laps for a couple years. I'll tell you...one day of not feeling well from the shot is way better than two and a half weeks of this. Thanks again. You stay safe and healthy. Cheers!
I got so sick of the Internet satellite dishes after they canceled broadband that I just use my cell phone as my Internet connection. I connect my computers Wi-Fi to my cellphones personal hotspot. It's reliable , mobile and fast enough for what I need.
Texas can get cold, but not C>O>L>D like it does in the Northern US, definitely not for any long periods of time. We're in the midwest and Texas is still over 1000 miles (1609 km) south of us. You are between 800-1000km north of us. We are currently -3 F (-19C) Houston TX where most tech is located is 34F (1C) They think that is cold.
Hello Larry, thanks...I was not sure. Our over night temperature last night was -40 Celsius...but Starlink worked perfectly :-) and we woke up feeling 100% better. Thanks again. You have a great day. Cheers!
""WOW"" Thanks Guys. Sorry about your predicament. I wish You the best It was -22 F here in Central Wis this AM. The house is a nice 74 F form the Wood heated Floor. Mike M.
Oh folks totally missed you…but I know life happens…I sure was watching the weather to see how you were doing….we have had that medical situation but much…although I wear masks all the time
Sounds like theirs a virus going around, I got sick as well about 2 weeks ago (I went to to my once a week shoping trip and got sick not nearly as bad as you though) I have had pretty decent luck with public mobile, my fiance once and a while her messages don't reach me but mine seam to reach always. I have only had one calling issue, my mother tryed to get ahold of me this summer and got a number is disconnected message but other people could reach me, I have had public mobile for probably 6 or 7 years and other then that been good you. It is unfortunate you had such issues.
This way we can't compare notes to each others I sure hope you both get feeling better the only time I got sick was when I got that darn covid shot I'm going to take them anymore Auburn the United States you're supposed to have the right to choose or not to choose we got our rights back now that Trump's in office I don't get sick anymore I like the videos of friends that's got Jennifer Anderson in it well I'll let you guys go I don't want to talk your ear off and thank you for the video
I'd keep a few solar panels for just in case due to the fact if you don't use them they basically last forever. Just keep them out of the sun until you need them.
Thanks for the update. Really missed your vids. Good to see you’re all back and look forward to more vids.
I got that stuff about 3 months ago just now starting to get back , glad you are ok and back on.

I'd keep a few solar panels for just in case due to the fact if you don't use them they basically last forever. Just keep them out of the sun until you need them.
