Nothing to do in game after completing the main questlines besides repeatable events with there being no purpose to running any build that isn't bloodied.
Thinking about it, the best way this game could have gone is that instead of playing the vault 76 vault dwellers, you instead play the guy we see in the opening shot. Once the bombs dropped he was irradiated, turning into a ghoul, and now 20 years later, waking up to find the United States to be in ruins. He feels that it’s his duty to start rebuilding West Virginia. Then the game goes on from there.
The game has Improved a lot since it released, I love the game and have over 150 hours in it, the games not for everyone but if you’re interested you should try it. (Though I’d look to getting it on sale)
this was my first fallout game, and this trailer made me love it even more the music is so perfect. makes me feel like im some old guy from west Virginia sitting on rocking chair on his porch with a banjo.
A lot of things went into making this game great. A dev team that never gave up, and an absolutely BASED player base. Give all of yourselves the credit.
It reminds me a lot of No Man's Sky. That game promised people a lot of things but at launch there was barely anything. The devs for No Man's Sky decided to not abandon the game and actually give people the content they wanted and more. Now that game is beloved by a lot of people and it seems like Fallout 76 went in a similar journey, but not in the same way though.
@@patrickoconnell912 It got record number of buyers and players this year after the Fallout tv show. It still has a lot more daily players than other seemingly more popular games.
Honestly I appreciate the evolution 76 has gone through it's launch was absolutely terrible and it ruined the game but slowly overtime it's become better and enjoyable. The events help people catch up with the high level players, The crafting system and camp system are awesome and unique since you get to create your own little base pretty much anywhere in the expanse of Appalachia. Their is also plenty of content for new players to go through and discover as well as locations. Their are things I dislike like the hunger and thirst system that isn't optional and the leveling system especially how it limits you to 14 total special maximum when leveling it, Then the enemy types and how hard it feels to gain blueprints and other weapons. It's a good game if you want something casual and chill to do and just enjoy things at your own pace but it's not great by any means but it's good. Plus they let you jump in to the action faster now with premade level 20 characters with certain playstyles ready to roll.
Played FO76 single player style for weeks when it dropped. Never really had any issues. It was really great, then. Todd started royally fucking it for all the crybaby millennials and Gen z children who'd never even played any other fallout. It's now unrecognizable from the gem it was. I think I stopped playing around 900 hours
How are they using the exact same engine and fallout 4. Literally the only thing changed is how the Pip boy looks. C'mon now we spot your bullshit. I bet later on they going to downgrade the shit out of this just as they did to fallout 4. Sad sad sad
Looking at it now it's pretty Underrated and it has a Friendly Community.
True
Not underrated the player count shot through the roof due to the show.
Yea I started playing a week ago as soon as I heard it was a good game lol. Enjoying it so far
The fact that we’re all still alive probably counts for something
Can confirm nothing but good interactions with people, I back into it because of the show but honestly 76 is a vibe.
Rip power armor man
The likes are on 76 nobody ruin it
Took 5 years but 76 can now call itself a great Fallout game
For when the fighting has stopped and the fallout has settled you must rebuild
