Hey Zach, I am deciding between buying the FX3, A7SIII or the A7IV. I do about 90-95% video. I am a filmmaker and I also like to shoot music videos and want to get into content creation as well(i.e. videos for RUclips like short films/music videos or regular talking head videos/vlogs and photography for Instagram). I also do a bit of photography, but I don't shoot for print. I want to get into ways of making money in the next 3-5 years like wedding videography/photography, real estate videography/photography and hopefully even product videography/photography. The obvious choice seems to be the A7IV, but I worry about the usability in client work due to the overheating. My budget is about $4,200. I do not have any lighting, but could choose to shoot outdoors or with natural light while I save for lighting. I do not have any lenses, but if I buy the FX3, I would probably buy a cheap and decent prime lens(24mm or 35mm) until I save up enough for another lens. I do not mind the technical challenge haha. Ideally, I would buy the A7IV and use the other $1,200 on lighting and lenses, but I am afraid it will limit my confidence in working with clients because of the known overheating that I have heard about(someone told me that theirs overheated within ten minutes while they were only scrolling through the menu). Based on all of this and what I want to do, should I buy the FX3 or the A7IV? Or maybe you propose I get the A7SIII? Sorry for the long question. Thanks! P.S. If I go for the FX3, I would have to use it for my paid gigs as well as my personal filmmaking and content creation cam, because it would be the only camera I have. Would this be ok? Thanks again!
Hello, from ur experience, I wanted to ask u about bokeh comparison in sigma 85mm f1.4 lens on both apsc and full frame, which camera will result in more bokeh? I know that full frame is better in bokeh but considering the compression we get from the crop factor on apsc in the 85mm distance will that result in more bokeh than using it in full frame body?
All I know is that I love my Sigma 16mm 1.4 lens for my Canon M6. Not the Mark 2, just the regular M6 ONE! Just wanted to crush those family videos with something AFFORDABLE!
I just got the sony s7s3 like 3 hours ago and there is a little ripple thingy in the middle of the censor. I dont know what to do. so no. even if I am home my metal health is no good.
@@ZachMayfield no! no! not a scratch. there is a ripple thingy like the newtons ripple or some thing that is caused when you squash two glass thing. its really tiny and aperently a lot of s3's have it. so will have to ask the stor. and they might not a sony store so kinda nervous about it. i could have got to a sony store but they charge double of the cameras original price so no one does it any way.
@@ZachMayfield Update! I returned the camera. they said the guys at Hong Kong track the cameras and they fix in with in the warranty. But I asked if they can just replace it since its a new camera and was a manufacturing defect. they seem hesitant about it. I showed them some pics and also a Dpreview thingy and they said they said they will return the camera and there is a new batch comming next week and I could have a new one and also said I can have it checked and all on the spot before I take it home. (they also said they might just changed the censor rather than replacing the camera and I have to satay wary of that but since I am getting a replacement I dont think I have to be scare) I shall present you with further updates next week.
Great video! We appreciate you!
Ahhh I appreciate y'all! Your lenses have been very good to me over the years
Gosh diggity darn I love this lens! I have been using it a lot with my A7iV, and it’s a fierce little bootch.
Oh I bet that combo freaking rules
Awesome video! I am adding this lens to my list. Picked up the new 16-28 yesterday and absolutely love it so far!
Ah heck yeah! I've been wanting to test that lens out

DUDE you're the sweetest
Great video editing, again! Really enjoyed this.
Well thanks friend! Glad you're here with us
It's all ok but what about focus issues that sigma has.how do y handle that
Sony + Sigma is bae. I’m in the same damn boat Zachy. I’m gonna have to pick this one up.
it's well worth it friend

What gear would y'all like to see me review? It doesn't have to be brand spankin' new
There aren't enough Daguerreotype camera reviews in 2022. Make it happen
Sigma art lenses are just too good, I have 5 of them at this point (3 zooms and 2 primes) they are my go to lenses on both My komodo and r6
Heck yeah dude that's so cool to hear

Exactly!! You don't need the newest cameras to get great shots, lenses are way more important anyway

Whatttt like a scratch on the sensor?? I'm sure you can get the camera replaced, especially since you just got it. So sorry to hear that friend!

Compared to what?
dope review!(:
Thank ya Nick!!!
"We share our work in there because instagram sucks" lmaoooo
If you want to get it cheaper just get a Sigma 56mm 1.4 APSC. On a full frame itll convert it to 85mm and youll save yourself about $400.
nah it not that easy 😂 the build from 2 is much different
