Where does he talk about the new Tesla spotted? 13:15
Thank you so much for this LMAO
God's work, son
“IT DID GREAT WITH ALLL THESE FLASHING LIGHTS” Meanwhile the path was entirely premapped and likely based on navigation.
The Berlin factory is close to Spain (Mataró) you say? It's over 1840km away. That's like driving from New York to the far side of Colorado. Other than that, I enjoyed the show. 👍😆
Meanwhile, Waymo is actually servicing real customers in real cities and the real world...
Waymo is cool, but it is limited to geofenced areas. I think Tesla should do the same thing just to get the robo taxi out there. If I were Tesla I would start with areas that are the easiest. Pick the low hanging fruit.
Also Waymo uses expensive equipment whereas Tesla uses vision only. It will be interesting to see to see how things shake out over the next 2 to 3 years.
@@CombatSport777still better than NOTHING from Tesla yet. I’m a Tesla fan but cant stand these promises after promises
This is going to be much more important for the next 2-3 years than the Robovan I somehow doubt will see my streets by the end of this decade. Wasn't the 7 year old Roadster 2 supposed to hit the street end of this year, again?
On the maintenance thing. I've had my M3P for 6 years now. I noticed that repairs are infrequent but expensive when they do happen. For example the rear rubber bushings on my car are going bad. They are built directly into the rear motor and cannot be replaced without replacing the entire fully functional motor. The result is a $9k repair for something that should be at most around $1k. Simply, bad engineering. This means that when the repair is needed I will most likely part the car out and get a new one.
Shoot, see if you can find a good mechanic who can improvise a work around.
Dang, that sucks! Was it covered on warranty? Elon clearly designs this car to be cheap to make, but disposable. For example, the “structural battery pack” seems like a really bad idea for maintenance. Just scrap it if a cell goes bad. How wasteful is that?
Adding $8,000 option to get zero APR is a sucker's bet...😂
More sensible would be to get used parts from a low mileage salvage vehicle.
@@mylesgray3470 they work in-house with redwood run by jb straubel and his brother. They sustainably mine and consciously recycle lithium battery materials. Buying brand new technology is always expensive and comes with early issues which have been fixed in the new models. Sorry that happened.
Am I the only one who saw the tranport things for the robots in IRobot when the robo van came out lol and how the the cybercab also looks like the Audi from that movie as well. I honestly think Elon takes a lot of inspiration from that movie sense it’s the closest thing that represents his vision
the show was named 'we, robot'...
Indeed. In about 10 years we are likely to have the first court case between a human and one of these robots, just like in the movie.
I noticed. The NS5 transport! Haha he has always done this. Most of the items he adds in cars and the designs and capabilities are remarkably similar to someone trying to build KITT also. The yoke, talking car, talk of rocket boosters, speed, bulletproofing etc
Wishlist for refresh:
Powershare Gateway and ventilated seats.
If they get those both into the car, it will not only become the #1 selling vehicle in the US, it will sell more than the next 4 vehicles combined and TSLA will rocket to $350/share.
Tesla team doesn't get enough credit. Elon this Elon that. This is bigger than Elon. These are Franz' designs. Event was awesome
So many people think Elon is a genius engineer when he's a jackass with no end (so far) of money to hire engineers. I don't doubt he sketched the cybertruck when he was 6, but he isn't the one designing spaceships and these ugly cars.
The event was terrible, taxi and van were impractical designs and were only autonomous in a lot that they had controlled for weeks. this was all smoke and mirrors. The issue isn't that the tesla team hasn't done great work, its that this event did a lousy job of showcasing it and there was very little in terms of details, and dates were really far out even for Elon
@@stevewilson6193 On one hand I agree with you, on the other hand they showed the cybercab model, they showed that they already have 20 of them, is that than still a prototype or can they already do some low volume production of it? they also showed the optimus robots again, not doing much but it is another showing. They generated an event with a lot of attention, looking really cool, displaying this 'tesla is the future' vibes, getting people to imagine what it would be like when all these products are live. I'm not quite sure but I also thought the robotaxi cab rides will stay available in that lot from now on, not just on the day itself, as the start of robotaxi, first place to pilot start the roll out.
IMO despite not getting a lot of new details; the event looked really cool. definetely had vibes, at least on stream as I wasn't there in person.
Meanwhile, other OEMs are showcasing…..more ice engines. Snoozing
Tesla is the best car company ever! No gas stations, no oil changes, no smog checks, no catalytic converter, no maintenance, 89% customer retention and quicker than a $650,000 Lamborghini!
People are SO Slow to understand this Progressive automotive change. The other car companies are really trying, but will have to inmate Tesla as they go where No Man or Company has gone. It will be interesting to see people changing their cell phones to Pi phones, I wonder if they can come to grips with Elon Musk as the owner where they complain constantly about Musk, and then buy apple/ samsung... We will see.
What exactly is specific about Tesla here? The „no fixed maintenance intervals“ is nice but almost everything else also applies to many other EVs.
They could shape those panels out of stainless steel. The original company who made stainless steel, Allegheny-Ludlum, did it for 3 different Ford models. There were 6 1936 Fords (4 still survive), 2 1960 Ford Thunderbird hardtops and one 1966 Lincoln Continental convertible sedan.
Tesla needs to make a version of the taxi with a steering wheel and pedals. If they did, it would sell. It's the size and look that I've wanted for quite a while. If they did make it as a regular EV, I would buy one.
They will!
Was about to comment this.
Elon said in the event the car won’t come with pedals or a steering wheel.
That’s my thoughts!!! I want a small commuter car that’s can get good range with a smaller battery and is AWD
Not like this, a 2 door version won’t sell in the sort of volumes Tesla would want to make them in for global sales. Will have to be a four door, but lots of this design carried over.
I love how the front headlight bar looks on the Robotaxi. Hoping the rumor of this coming to the Model Y Juniper is true and it looks just like this! Would definitely help make this new refresh unique with comparison to the old models!
Always love the videos Ryan👍🏼. Very informative and Knowledgeable information to use when I buy my next Tesla. Thanks for the content. 👍🏼👏🏼✌🏽
The Gemini is hybrid chemistry so it will be hard to scale it down to smaller packs. The reason they need LFP is to supplement the power output of their proprietary chemistry. Scaling the pack down means the power will also shrink which means they need more LFP to provide additional power.
Manufacturing engineer here, composite body is an odd choice. Composite layup is traditionally very slow. We are taking 4 hours with oven cure or 8 hours without oven cure. Stamping steel panels on the other hand takes just seconds. I’m very curious how they plan to make the body fast and cheap.
Agreed, I wish they would adopt a carbon fiber smc, similar to Aptera motors
@@MrStrife622 looked up that process which is new to me, and that looks like the way they would do it. It’s not used in aircraft which is my specialty, probably because it’s not as strong, but suitable for car body panels. Would just need a post trim operation to clean the edges after press.
4 to 8 hours cure time is a lot for a single vehicle, but its nothing for a production line. Your parts would be ready in time to form the part multiplied by the number of parts, plus eight hours. A million parts, six seconds each (for example), is 1667 hours plus 8 hours of cure time. So 1675 hours. It may not work out that ideally, but at massive scale, cure time barely matters as long as they have the capacity to house and move those parts while they cure.
@@mylesgray3470 I don't know much about airplanes, but the BINC Aptera is using is made by CPC who makes F1 bodies. There is a trimming process but they recycle those bits back in, up to 8 times.
One of the co founders made boat bodies with composites, and originally Aptera was going down that path until they realized it wasn't realistic for high volume production. And pivoted to the CF SMC.
@@MrStrife622 That’s cool! It seems like a game changing process. No autoclave, no oven!
Hey! You brought back the Cybertruck model on your shelf. 👏👏👏
Why was it gone for so long?
At the dealer for a recall
@@petrolhead4503😂
I know it’s kinda small compared to a Model 3 or Y, but it also looks big enough to accommodate a back seat for two, maybe three riders.
My wife’s car got the update where we can be hands free while in FSD. THAT finally makes it worth buying. Granted I still think $8k is too high. We got it 5 years ago when it was $6k but I think they’d sell like hot cakes if it were more like $4k. While we’ve been thinking of getting back to the BMWs we love as they begin making nice EVs in the next couple years … but FSD is FINALLY now compelling and could keep us brand loyal.
I like the no side mirrors on the cyber cab. I think it should have a rear window though. On the Robo Van, I would like to see it closer to the boring company rendering of that van, also needs more windows, and exposed wheels.
Did you or anyone manage to video anyone doing a jaywalk in front of one of these and see the prototype do an emergency stop? That would prove this AI is safety capable for some real, imperfect world action!
They aren't brave enough to try that
Robovan looks like a giant toaster 😂
It should have been the front design on the front and back, then it could reverse the headlight/taillight colors and head the other direction
Would have liked to know the battery size, makeup, range, charge times for both the RT and RV. Also top speed. The van is so low, it doesnt look like it can go on highways and will it fit in the boring tunnels?
While Elon said we will produce these he did not say produce these exactly as you see them. Unrealistic to nail Tesla down on vehicles that are still under development. Same goes for all the specs you want to see. These are more suited to a product release. Thinking Tesla leaned that lesson after 2019.
Tesla wouldn’t know the specs because they haven’t finished making a product, Elon is simply making it up on the hop. Look at Elon’s responses when asked about timelines, he is trying to work it out in his mind. He should have firm dates when presenting a product, but no.
WoW !! Love the design of that 2 door Taxi Coupe ..... seriously cool
I really hope they offer bidirectional charging on the model Y Juniper. And I hope it works with an Enphase system.
The difference for tesla is that all of these will soon running on roads but the other company prototypes are still prototypes.
Compact car, with the model 3 performance drive system would be astounding.
I believe they will add a charge port once released mainly for redundancy, absolutely no reason not to, considering they will be fleet managed by individuals, not exclusively Tesla owned.
This would also unlock reliable cross country travel, as riders that go for longer routes could “opt in” to plug in at super chargers when needed.
I personally doubt it, being they are trying to make this car ultra cheap and Elons favorite saying, no part is the best part. He doesn’t like redundancy as he is an extreme engineering minimalist. I’m betting they will just sell a roll-up charging mat for home use and they will build new dedicated cab charging locations for public use. Time will tell.
Cyber cab will be geo-fenced so you won’t be going cross country. No doubt inductive charging will be slower as well.
It needs three seats two is stupid !!
17:26 It was driven 752 miles at 55MPH on Michigan freeways! That probably counts as antisocial:
Michigan DOT 2016: Increased Speed Limit Legislation
Public Act 445 of 2016, tasked MDOT and MSP with increasing speed limits on a minimum of 600 miles of limited access freeway to 75 mph, and 900 miles of trunkline highway to 65 mph based on the results of engineering and safety studies that utilize the 85th percentile speeds (the speed at or below which 85 percent of traffic is moving).
Always appreciate the work you put into your vids. This is the most comprehensive review of the Cybercab I've watched so far. Your analysis re: Tesla and the overall EV industry is solid w/ good facts and minimal speculation.
The only immediate application is upgrading Disneys animatronics. A working elbow and wrist makes the wave so much more realistic….
The robot car is at home on the road, but what about say a mechanic that needs to move it carefully into a service bay inside a crowded shop? Is there a plug in controller or something for this need?
It's clear to me, based on the design differences between the robotaxi and the robovan that the awaited "model 2" would actually be 80% of what the robotaxi is. The company is moving its focus to automation, there will be less and less interest in the "sexy" line-up with human drivers.
The RoboVan/Bus shape kinda reminds me of those manual ice shavers for Mexican flavored slushies “raspados”. lol 🤭
Love my model y. Range anxiety and charging at the back of some poorly lit tucked away charging station have made it impractical for my wife to drive it long distance. I also recently encounter a charging station that lost electricity during thunderstorm and had to scramble to find an alternate. True Range above 400 is crucial for mass adoption.
I am seriously wondering if these cars will stay to offer tours of WB to the public after the event. That would be interesting as a way Tesla can continue to rack up some more autonomous miles to convince state regulators. And gain some more insight into the durability and real world problems of day to day operations and test out how well the design really hold up to real weather, and the daily grind of life on the road. The Bus could be used along with a few more and the individuals can be used by couples, the model Y’s by the proverbial family of four, with some having car seats installed. Then there’s the matter of a single parent plus one chid, which can be anywhere from an infant up to a teenager, and meeting the law for car safety seats, with fast lock-in within seconds, carry able by the adult infant car seats or booster seats to make seatbelts effective. Tesla may need to manufacture their own car seats or have cars that one seat can rotate 180 degrees with the normal adult seat and one the opposite side have a child seat. You choose the configuration in the app!
We've paid nothing to service our Tesla in the past year. We change our own tires and do have to buy windshield wiper fluids.
I have been thinking about this question, does Autopilot ever get updated and benefits from all the FSD end to end AI training? Thanks
I wonder how the Roadster is coming along. Tesla has been very quiet about it for a while now.
How fast was it driving? I didn't see anything on the display. Watching it makes it look like it was going very slow, like just above parking lot speeds which makes me strongly wonder how much of this was on the FSD (streets) stack and how much was the A.S.S. stack.
Seems like a bench seat would be a good option to allow three passengers, allowing fold down for less than three. My 07.5 Tundra had the front bench seat, as such.
I thought the same. At least a kid size middle position would be helpful.
Unfortunately, the world does not deserve RoboTaxis. People will leave a mess in them, squat in them, vandalize them, etc.
I think having a future vision is great, whether it will come true or not. I wish I can wait for the new refresh of the model Y but I’m going to try to get myself the refresh 3 to replace my Y and yes personally FSD is a must have. I wish there are Tesla event like that in Australia 😔
But does the seats fold back so one can sleep?
Low to the ground is an understatement. My big complaint about Tesla vehicles in general ( not cyber truck) are so low to the ground it is uncomfortable to get in and out for an elderly person. Since I am elderly and when taking Uber teslas the in an out is pretty hard. Come on Elon. Help the elderly please. 😊😮
I don’t know if it was intentional but you could take another taxi from where the robotaxi stopped to the sidewalk
Elon in my opinion dropped the ball with the event. Other than no steering wheel they did not demonstrate more capability that the fleet currently doesn’t already have
It's not supposed to have more capability than the fleet, that wouldn't make any sense. The cars will get full FSD before the taxi, because the taxi won't even be out for another 3 years
Plus the taxi car is so bland.
@@PEACEOUTXX1 Does not really matter.
@@PEACEOUTXX1it’s pretty good aside from the front light design and the weird hump in the middle
Almost as if the rest of the fleet is already capable. You were so close…
Project Juniper was changed to project Osborne about a year ago.
Higher energy density, also means you can have a smaller lighter pack and that’s more range
Hey Ryan, Did you see any indication at the show that the Cybercab might have been remote controlled rather than autonomous? In the comments for the Yahoo Finance article about the stock crash after the show some random Tesla hater was claiming there was a Tesla person across the street controlling the cabs. I find it highly unlikely as it would be devastating for Tesla if it was found that the demo was fake and secrets are impossible to keep forever.
If a third party company can make longer range batteries that are plug and play for older model Teslas, these cars are going to last a long time. I haven't seen a car since the mid 1960s that has an interior that wears like iron like my Model S.
I dont believe ICE vs EV range is the real issue, I mean a 250 EV range would be fine for even a long distance driver if when finding a working open charge point it just took a couple of minutes to charge. Knowing you may need a number of recharge stops of 30 to 40 mins a time will definitely put off some long distance drivers in a hurry.
It's not full self driving. Full self driving is you seating in the back seat or passenger seat. If you are required to sest in the drivers seat, that's autopilot
Did you see a steering wheel or foot pedals?
Still waiting on the Roadster …. And I have yet to see a Tesla Semi in Southern California.
Are you one of those that claimed the Cybertruck was a myth as well? Pepsi has a fleet of over 80 Semi’s they’ve been using for years. Plenty of video feed of them. Even Jay Leno drove one on his show. Or was that all cgi? Is the earth flat too?
Will the Cybercab eventually become the model 2?
There will never be a model 2
Why would you only have a 2 seater for a taxi? Doesn't seem very practical to me.
I’m still wondering where the roadster is and why they decided to start yet another project when they haven’t finished what they said years ago
Why don’t they produce the Robotaxi with steering wheel and pedals as a coupe? Gotta think it would be huge if the price is right.
Maybe they did that just to annoy you specifically
I’m almost done reading the book “Elon Musk”, and I can tell you with confidence that Elon went this route to force the regulation changes by the government to happen, and force Tesla engineers to solve the self driving problems. They have no option to drag it out with this single focus. It’s his way of getting results which has worked extremely well at Space X.
@@mylesgray3470 That makes a lot of sense
@@mylesgray3470how do you think this presentation is going to force changes in regulations? All his work with Tesla hasn’t changed any regulation, he has been forced to rename FSD. He hasn’t won any battle against the regulators except annoy them.
@@Madracer09Well, they are going to mass produce a car without a steering wheel and if the government wants to make money off the tax of selling it, they are going to have to pass the laws. There is incentive on both sides. No telling if it will actually work, but it’s Elons style at its worked for the rocket business. With Space-x, if they don’t agree with the rules m, they don’t follow them and request changes at the same time and many rules for rocket launches have been updated or thrown out.
FSD is crap. It works ok on the highway as long as you pay attention (otherwise you might kill a motorcycle rider) but off the highway I can't get 3 blocks without taking over.
Thank you Ryan. I'm glad someone finally showed the trunk space. Really great job.
Will the new Model Y have Hardware 5 too
This FSD financing has not rolled out in Canada yet.
My wife never cared about FSD and did not get FSD in her model y till she drove my car with FSD. Yesterday she said that she wants FSD and realized how much stress it takes out from driving
Happy 🇨🇦 Thanksgiving everyone
Tesla is able to move ahead because it doesn’t have the UAW HOLDING IT BACK
I’ve had full self driving in my car for about a year. I use it a lot. It does help, but I can’t see this getting to a fully autonomous status in two years. It makes mistakes on every trip some of which I can correct easily some of which I require disabling the auto pilot. it is frequently in the wrong lane at intersections you can use the turn signals to try and get it in the right lane. Sometimes it pays attention and sometimes it doesn’t.
Not surprising they can do this based on vision that’s entirely how we drive a car but we also know something about human behavior and I don’t think this does so it’s not very good at predicting what other people are gonna do around it. If they ever get to the point where these cars can talk to each other, I can see it happening.
This event was to raise awareness of what is and what will be at Tesla. As such it hit a home run.
I paid $10,000 for FSD with my model 3, then traded that in and paid $15,000 for FSD on my Model Y. The fact that it is DOWN to $8,000 now kind of makes me mad.
Lol it's like hitting yourself with a hammer, but you keep doing it 😂
@@why6212 On the bright side you can generally transfer FSD now.
@@JohnVanderbeck they haven't made that claim yet, or built any tools towards making it easy. Making the transfer is a customer service negotiation that can stop any time they decide to update the script.
@@why6212 Note I said "generally". Not "always". They frequently run promotions that specifically say you can transfer your FSD if you trade-in during certain periods. I get the emails quite regularly. No it isn't 100% of the time, maybe only 50% of the time, but it is frequent enough to notice.
Unfortunately Tesla stock is down 8% and that’s no wonder, people want affordable EV’s and specifically a niche market for a few people, is that something the just don’t understand. Competition is on the move…
would have been good to see some crash testing on it... thing looks like it would get totally crushed in a collision with a cyber truck for example. One thing they really should prioritize is Tesla to Tesla communications so that it is technically impossible to crash two Tesla's together.
One would wait until release candidates existed for crash testing. Much too early. The US Department of Transportation (USDOT) is actively investigating and promoting the deployment of vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technologies, which include vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications. We need it on every car on the road. Even if all it does is to alert of impending crashes Distribute them when you pay for car registration. Optimize and build them by the millions.
Only if a human is driving the CT.
@@danharold3087 sure but Tesla could and should do it already and just gift the process to the rest of the industry same as what they did with charging
@@darylfortney8081 Tesla is looking to license FSD to others. Its investment is or will run into the billions. Not something you can give away. It belongs to the stockholders.
@@darylfortney8081 2nd try maybe duplicate. Tesla and it's shareholders are investing billions in FSD. Can't gift it. Tesla has offered to sell licenses.
I'm very optimistic about the future of Tesla. Tesla is a problem solving company & I do not think theres any issue that they dont have a path figured. So what remains is just the execution, which is much easier than say dealing with an unknown.
The savings that FSD will create across a broad spectrum of transportation and environmental costs will vastly exceed the price of the vehicles. It's not if this will happen but only when. If you just consider municipal traffic law enforcement, it will be accomplished by FSD and made redundant saving $billions each year.
FSD should be account based not car based. Pointless getting FSD for a car you'll be changing in 3,4 or 5 years. Plus it's way off being ready for unsupervised, my M3 still has plenty of phantom breaking episodes, worst being a full slam on the brakes on the motorway because there was a car stopped on the hard shoulder.
I have not had any phantom for breaking for a while, but I rented a model 3 last year and it was doing it a LOT. Did it about 6 times in one day. I seriously think they deleted radar way too soon. I don’t believe vision only is even close to being up to the task yet. It can’t even figure out when to run the wipers. If it wasn’t for the robots, I’d probably be selling some of my stock but I see a lot of potential there.
This is suppose to be new hardware. How is everyone with old hardware suppose to get this at the same performance? If I had to guess, they are gonna rewrite some clause that they hope no one notices that you can sue if your hardware can’t achieve what the new cars can
@@mylesgray347012.5.4 has a serious phantom braking problem, it brakes for oncoming headlights. It's not usable at night on two lane roads. This problem showed up in the .4 release. Hopefully in .6 they will have it fixed but who knows what will break next.
@@joshuarosen465 Yea, the progress seems to be fairly stalled. My phantom breaking in the rental was between Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon on a sunny day. I didn’t see any obstructions at all. I think it may have been flying bugs in front of the camera. If they had radar as a fallback, that wouldn’t be an issue. For aircraft, safety critical systems require redundancy and I believe self driving cars should have the same requirements.
Internal pressed door of cybertruck is stainless steel
How will it be safe in the real world? Crash safety, airbags? How will it fair with non-autonomous vehicles? Who is paying for induction charge points? Who pays for insurance? What city allows these vehicles?
Plaid Airlines Easter egg at 0:46! Planes next?
If Robotaxi ever come for sale to private it must have a chargeport to charge places without teslachargers, that must be peanuts to put in together with wireless. I dont see any relevans for the Wing doors, it just adds complexity to a car that should be cheap. If it was side doors like on a van which don't take up much space in tight parking lots it would make more sence.
That cab sure looked like it was a model 3 or Y with a shell on it. I did not hear anything said about it being a new platform. For the most part the event looked like a nice party but it didn’t give me confidence that Tesla is on the right track.
I was very impressed by the robots, and to be honest, the robots are why I’m still a share holder. The car, bing no steering wheel only, was disappointing because it won’t actually be a profit maker for Tesla for at least 3 years, more likely 4 or 5 years. It’s not even legal and my personal use of FSD was not confidence inspiring. I think the car business will struggle just to maintain sales numbers for the next several years but the robots could be explosive growth.
FSD will never be worth it for me unless it's transferable.
It would make sense for Tesla to sell FSD+Insurance as a package. If FSD is so good it is rarely if ever at fault the cost could approach that of full coverage insurance alone.
Disneyland and smoke and mirrors was exactly right .definitely controlled environment. Approval in America for fsd definitely won't happen before 2030 at minimum. And I agree, If fsd not transferable then fsd may not be worth it until Approval by government. Soo hardware and specs may change by 2030...and if all c😢 will be autonomous fsd should be included, especially since all cars supposed to be self driving in future..seems by Approval 2030 there will be 1000S of tesla on road that won't have required software and hardware to activate autonomous especially if u were early adapter
Just rent it
Tesla should make the robotaxi a bit shorter and the seats higher.
My reason for non adoption of EV is no off road parking and public charging costs in the UK are astronomical... even the Tesla superchargers compared with home charging (7 pence per kWh Vs 39 pence at Tesla ....the competition charges 70 pence and upwards per kWh!!!)
The Cybertruck was going to be $39,000.
Tesla unveiled their robotaxi and robovan at an event, showcasing autonomous driving capabilities. The video covers details about the robotaxi's design, features, and potential launch. It also discusses Tesla's 0% APR financing offer, Model Y Juniper leaks, and maintenance costs.
Greaat work as always
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I had the opportunity to sit in the 2026 afleela electric sedan in Los Vegas in sure you are familiar with this product but I went with a family member who's been around the world no specifications were given out like $ distance on a charge I didn't see the trunk or engine compartment opened up
Huh. Everyone yammers on about EVs not having as much range as ICE but nobody ever mentions the future where EVs double or triple the range of the driver's bladder
First thought about the Robotaxi - those doors are GOING to hit someone in the face. Guaranteed.
That's a smart way of pocketing the interest what otherwise the bank would take!
Well I used to work for cruise rideshare autonomous cars the problem is once people find out it's self driving the kids here at Texas University would trap the car standing in front and behind and the bringinger objects to keep it blocked 🚫 trapped so it won't move then it needed to be rescued I wonder how tesla will solve this
2019 "cybertruck $39k"" = 2024 "cybertruck $140k"
2024 "robotaxi $30k" = 2029 "robotaxi $110k"
the "zero apr*" is 0.99%, so its 1%, not zero.
Because of stair by wire both van and car can be converted into a regular vehicle
After watching the show, Theranos seems more plausible than ever.
Wireless charging is a bad idea. First of all it's not efficient at all, a lot of the energy is wasted by eddy currents and heat. It's also going make the batteries fail prematurely.
I was slightly disappointed, I was really hoping for a model 2 car. I cant afford a Tesla. (maybe second hand if the price keep dropping) I know they say Robotaxi will be under $30k, but I feel like its only going to be available in certain areas, even in 2026. I cant see it being approved country/worldwide for a very long time.
Only an American would say Germany is very close to Spain.
I'm very sceptical hearing of these Gemini Batteries for the first time. I suspect the catch is that their cycle life sucks compared to vanilla Tesla batteries.
Some incentives for current owners would be nice.
Good day from Goonellabah, NSW, Australia.
Embarking on a significant six-month journey, I'll be circumnavigating Australia in two CYBERTRUCKs and a Tesla Semi, covering a substantial 22,000 kilometres. This journey is set to commence at the beginning of February 2025. Elon shall help me.
I started in 1972 to 1974 when I received air pollution results from my contract with the EPA NSW governments. I did this because I used to live in Eastern Arterial Rd, Lindfield NSW 2070, Sydney, one of the areas with air pollution. I went on to expose the air pollution across Sydney and Newcastle. I was in pain arse of every EPA of all States across Australia.
As we travel, we aim to meet all the Premiers of the States, including notable figures like The Hon. Anthony Albanese, MP Prime Minister, and The Hon. Chris Bowen MP, Minister for Climate Change and Energy. Fun fact: I used to grab coffee with Anthony Albanese in Lewisham. - Cheers, Ian Cleland
The lack of maintenance cost is made up by how short tire life is.
Not even close. Unless you’re way overpaying for tires.
@@evolv.e "way overpaying for tires" go check MYP and MSP tire prices, after that also check other options with the same sizes and come back to this comment.
A lot of people say that, but my Model Y has over 20K miles and the original tires still have about 80% tread. The model S plaid has a tire wear problem due to rear camber but otherwise, the tires on Tesla cars last a normal amount of time if you don’t drive aggressively.
@@mylesgray3470 is your Y a SR or LR?
@@unrealisticgoals Y LR and I drive in Chill mode but do floor it occasionally. I imaging the Model 3 RWD probably eats through tires pretty fast.
