Funny enough, this episode was the only one of this series I EVER saw as a kid.

I enjoyed your commentary on this episode. I used to watch some of these in rerun and I could never wrap my head around the dialogue choices they made and stories they chose. Really made the characters dim-witted. But as kids, we were just happy to have our heroes on tv and maybe that's what they wanted, just for us to enjoy this type of portrayal. Ill be checking out your other content in the future.

Jane is trying to make Thor jealous by playing up to Hercules. A story as old as dirt.
So many times, I have seen 2 guys beat each other silly while a girl watches in delight.

The Osin from mythology was nothing like this. He was wise and benevolent and always sought greater knowledge

Not only was Heracles the O.G. bi-guy, the Spartans were also pretty, ahem... liberal with their sexuality. But enough, now is the time for melody! Kabong!!

Hercules was voiced by Len Birman, who later played Simon in the two 1979 Captain America tv movies

Legendary fight. Always made me mad that Odin did this Because I wanted to see Thor knock his teeth down his arrogant bragging throat. That’s ok. The Hulk kicked his ass in Tales to Astonish.

Today Hercules would be arrested for either indecent exposure or disturbing the peace.
    Sorry about tongue bite

2:35 "None of it works but that won't stop him from doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."
I think there may be a word for that..... but I can't think of what it is.
As to how Jane gets treated in this episode.... I don't know if you've noticed, but these Marvel shows seem to treat women badly. All of them. Every single one. I don't know why, they just do.

These were the greatest cartoons ever. I very much enjoy your channel for commenting on them, and I appreciate much of your humor, but for someone of your generation you are surprisingly woke. While it's funny to look at these from a modern, p.c. perspective, I think you could help the kids of today understand them better if you explained that they truly were an innocent reflection of an earlier, now misunderstood time. Having lived through that time myself, I know this and I would think you do too. Jusrt a minor criticism, but it doesn't stop me from enjoying and looking forward to every new episode on your channel. :)

I'll take "surprisingly woke" as a compliment. "Woke" just means I consider all people equal and care about all of them, so that's a good thing. And I have news for you: the world these shows tried to present never existed. It was the world that the fuddy-duddies wanted to create, but the actual world told them no. That was also a good thing.

No that isn't what woke means. Thats what the woke tell themselves it means so they can insult and label as bad people anyone who disagrees with them about something.

You are wrong, and one more disparaging comment like that and you won't be commenting here any more. You are flat wrong, and you embrace hate and exclusion based on race, gender identity, or anything else you don't like. Sit down and shut up.
